Chapter 472: Chapter 20: Primordial God

The original Sun God of the Mithra World, his true name is Mitra.

He is not an original deity of the Mithra World, but rather a Lost God who wandered to the Mithra World after his own world was destroyed.

As for Mitra’s original world?

It was a colossal assemblage of worlds, commonly referred to as—Brahma’s Dream.

Yes, Mitra was a divine spirit of the Indian Gods.

His origins can even be traced back to the Aryan God before the Indian Gods, as the deity governing covenants and truth.

After being assimilated into the Indian Gods, Mitra became a Main God of the Indian Gods, jointly presiding over daylight and night with Valuna.

Mitra is the God of Daylight, while Valuna is the Night God.

However, what is unique about the Indian Gods is that their deities generally possess numerous incarnations.

Be it Mitra or Valuna...

In essence, both are different facets of the same deity.

Most of the time, Mitra Valuna is addressed as one entity.

Especially after the collapse of Brahma’s Dream, Mitra Valuna, this dual-faced deity, joined the Brahma God and became one of its Main Gods.

However, ultimately due to differences in philosophy, Mitra Valuna left the Brahma God and arrived alone in the then barbaric era of the Mithra World, becoming the initial sun here.

Subsequent developments unfolded just as narrated in the Mithra World mythology.

The Sun God Mitra brought life and brilliance to this world and nurtured the original Barbaric Gods.

Regrettably, due to the dual-faced reason, during Mitra’s slumber, Valuna guided the Barbaric Gods to create the Heaven-Reaching Ladder, attempting to replicate the divine hierarchy of the Indian Gods.

If Adam had not appeared unexpectedly, Valuna’s plan might indeed have succeeded.

Afterward, the awakened Mitra, disregarding his own weakening power, forcibly split Valuna away.

As a result, Mitra’s authority was fractured into the Sun Wheel and Holy Fire Order, never to return to his former peak state.

The initial Moonlit Lady, later the Goddess of Harvest, was born as a New God from Valuna’s corpse.

She, although a blood descendant of Valuna, inherited Mitra’s Sun Wheel.

Even during the decline of the Barbaric Gods, the Goddess of Harvest continued to receive Mitra’s protection, enduring through that challenging period.

Thus, the Goddess of Harvest remains an exceptionally unique presence among the God of Mithra.

If not for her rejecting Mitra’s power due to her origin and experiences, she might have become the new Sun God of the Mithra World.

Nevertheless, an inseverable connection persists between the Goddess of Harvest and the Mithra Sun.

So when the Mithra sun started to grow restless, the Goddess of Harvest sensed the ancient power even before the Sun God.

"Has the original sun... appeared again?"

Looking up in astonishment, the Goddess of Harvest suddenly saw a second sun outside the Land of Chaos.

It was not the sun of the current Sun God, but the primordial sun that should have fallen with Mitra’s disappearance.

—Twin suns in the sky, all beings looking up.

Such a spectacle is rare, even in the Mithra World.

"Did you finally agree to become the Sun God?"

Also noticing the sun that shouldn’t have appeared, the Supreme Death God raised the crumbling Holy Fire Order, asking the Goddess of Harvest in astonishment.

In the current world, theoretically, besides the Goddess of Harvest, no one should be able to awaken that original sun.

"No, it’s not me..."

She shook her head firmly in denial and turned her gaze toward the God of Mithra behind her.

Like the Supreme Death God in the Land of Chaos, the God of Mithra also thought it was a sign that the Goddess of Harvest decided to become the Sun God.

"Someone has replicated my ritual and stolen the power of the Sun God..."

Upon hearing this, the Supreme Death God’s expression instantly changed from astonishment to disbelief.

The ritual to summon the Mithra sun essentially derived from the authority of the Sun Wheel.

It was a power the Goddess of Harvest created as an alternative, unwilling to inherit Mitra’s power.

The Supreme God could hardly believe that someone in this world could replicate such a mysterious ritual to summon the power of the Mithra Sun.

"Without the Sun Wheel as a medium, who could wield the power of the primordial sun?"

.........................................................

"Truly deserving of being this world’s original sun..."

"Even if it’s just an incomplete ritual, it’s more than enough to grant a mortal Ascension to Divinity."

Unnoticed, Eve had quietly appeared at the edge of the Land of Chaos and remarked as such.

In her hand, a Golden Magic Ring identical to the Goddess of Harvest’s was glowing.

The only difference was that the Golden Magic Ring in Eve’s hand was exceedingly small and far from the divine might boosted by the Sun Wheel.

"Who are you!?"

Immediately noticing Eve’s presence, the God of Mithra reacted at once.

Especially the contemporary Sun God, who stared intently at the Golden Magic Ring in Eve’s hand with contracted pupils.

"My name is Eve, Adam’s wife."

Stopping tactfully at the very edge of the Land of Chaos, Eve spoke slowly with a calm tone.

"If you wish to resurrect Adam, Mitra’s power alone will not suffice."

"Even though he possesses the Power of Life and Death, it is not truly his area of expertise..."

"Adam is the Hands of God among the Hands of God, the firstborn of the Holy Spirit, closest to the Creator."

"Only I hold the true method to resurrect Adam."

With these words, silence fell over the scene.

Mithra’s War God gazed at Eve for a long time, ultimately moved by her determined eyes.

"What should we do?"

Upon hearing this, Eve finally smiled, though her smile seemed to faintly reveal a hint of sorrow.

"All you have to do is step aside..."

Gesturing for the gods behind her to step aside, the War God, seemingly having understood something, refrained from speaking further.

And so, under the protection of the Golden Magic Ring, Eve stepped toward the Land of Chaos one step at a time.

The Supreme Death God and the Goddess of Harvest inside also saw Eve’s arrival.

Despite some confusion, the two deities made eye contact and did not prevent Eve’s approach.

Regardless of how she managed to steal the power of the original sun, the priority now was the resurrection of Adam.

Besides, the two deities did not believe that the current God of Mithra could stop Eve’s advance.

This woman self-proclaimed as "Adam’s wife" exuded a subtle aura of danger.
