Chapter 933 -66 Fate Goddess, Come Into My Bowl (6.1k)
The long night was serene, with silver-grey moonlight draping over the earth like a thin and delicate chiffon veil, transporting one into a dreamily beautiful sensation.
In the quiet completion of her infiltration, Brynhild took a glance at the figure lying sideways and deeply asleep on the bed, and finally made some sort of resolution. She raised her hand to untie her breastplate and partly removed the Swan Feather Weave, revealing her exquisite collarbones. Her silver hair cascaded over the contours of her chest, blending and contrasting with her jade-like skin.
“Cough cough…”
Just as she bit her cherry lips and placed her hands behind her back to unfasten her bra, a deep cough came from the bed.
Brynhild’s body stiffened immediately, and her purple pupils contracted sharply.
Noticing the somewhat heavy atmosphere, Luo En yawned and waved his hand, saying:
“Go back, there’s nothing here that needs you to do.”
Brynhild pursed her lips but, as if she hadn’t heard, stubbornly walked towards the bed:
“I, I came to serve you as you sleep…”
As the Valkyrie approached, removing more and more of her clothes, Luo En turned helplessly and sat up from the bed:

“Did Odin send you?”
Brynhild’s body froze, her face filled with astonishment,
“How did you know?”
Luo En pointed to his temple and answered irritably:
“That old guy Odin usually only takes Immortal Palace Guards for show. The Valkyrie Corps are managed by me and Freya. Him bringing you to Turin City for negotiations this time couldn’t possibly be for pleasing onlookers, could it? A bit of suspicion, added to the excuses he made to leave you with me, and your little actions along the way, and I could roughly guess the answer.”
After hearing this, Brynhild showed a bitter smile: “You are as perceptive as the rumors say.”
“Not like before.” Luo En self-mockingly said, then advised, “Go back. No matter what that old guy Odin says, there’s no need to force yourself to do things you don’t want to do.”
However, Brynhild shook her head seriously:
“Serving you well is the mission Father God entrusted to me. It is also for a brighter future of Asgard. There’s no such thing as willing or unwilling, I must do it, and I fear I must ask for your forgiveness for the offense I am about to commit.”
Seeing that the stubborn Valkyrie simply wouldn’t listen to reason, and was about to strip off her clothes again, Luo En’s face turned cold, and he asked:
“Serve me? Do you think you are a prostitute, or a warrior?”
Brynhild’s body froze as she bit her cherry lips hard enough to draw blood.
She fell silent for a moment, then let go of her clothing clasps, made an effort to straighten her chest and neck, and answered proudly:
“I am a warrior! A Valkyrie of Val!”
“Good, it seems you still have some self-respect.”
Luo En snorted coldly, adding emphasis to his tone,
“Since you remember you’re a warrior, then don’t debase yourself by doing things like a prostitute!”
With this straightforward scolding, Brynhild came to her senses.
She immediately straightened her chest, standing in the tent like a javelin, displaying a sharp and stern temperament:
“My lord, I thank you for your guidance. On this mission, I will become your spear, your shield, clearing the way before you, warding off external foes. This is the service befitting of a Valkyrie!”
Hearing the resounding reply, Luo En nodded contentedly:
“Then, follow orders, warrior. Return to your own camp, rest easy, and heal your wounds.”
“I shall heed your command!”
The Valkyrie thumped her chest with her right fist, then looked down at the pieces of clothing scattered on the ground, her pretty face once again flushing unnaturally red at the thought of her recent impropriety.
Seeing that Luo En had closed his eyes again, lying back with his back to the tent entrance, Brynhild sighed in relief, hurriedly bent down to pick up the clothes from the ground, hugging them to her chest and fleeing the tent like a thief.
As that figure disappeared into the night, Luo En sat up, sniffing the lingering scent in the air, and shook his head helplessly.
Why does everyone make things so difficult for me?
Especially that Haki Wolf at home, perhaps he really wasn’t punished enough.
Thinking of Heluo, whom he locked up before leaving and thrashed, spanking her butt until it blossomed, and plucking her tail hair clean, Luo En snorted coldly to himself.
His adopted daughter thought she was clever, but trying to be crafty in front of him was still too naive.
Just as a certain Mr. Ko once said: “Never let people easily guess your thoughts.”
Heluo was just the opposite example. She only learned the rhetoric and cunning of her foster father but not the necessary concealment.
Indeed, the more one does some things, the more mistakes they make, the more one talks, the more faults they expose.
Alright, Odin’s image in this situation with Dwarf-Dragon Disaster isn’t the most admirable, but Heluo is not any cleaner.
The unification of the Seven Dwarf Clans is mostly facilitated by her behind the scenes, even single-handedly orchestrated. Otherwise, how could a deity from Midgard be so concerned about the Dragon Disaster in the Dwarf Country, participating throughout, without any objections from the seven Dwarf kings?
And most likely, under her guidance, Midgard and the Dwarf Country are step by step forming an offensive and defensive alliance, aiming to compete with the Asa Divine Domain.
For this reason, Odin made moves against the Dwarf Clan, using them for biochemical experiments. Of course, behind this, there’s likely the intention to cultivate an army of Dragonkin that are less obedient to himself, preparing against his daughter Hela and her subordinate Black Dragon King Nidhogg.
Similarly, after suffering a loss, Heluo has been vehemently painting a picture of potential fratricidal conflict before him, and from a moral standpoint, denouncing Odin’s cold and heartless actions.
But no matter how she argues and exaggerates, the battle to death between him and Odin is only a possibility in the future, not a definite reality.
