Ling Feng saw the situation and quickly asked, "Elder, you’ve just arrived, and you’re leaving already? Why don’t you stay for dinner?"

"No, thank you," Luo Beihai pointed in the direction of the mountains, "It’s not convenient!"

Ling Feng smiled, understanding that Luo Beihai didn’t want people from Luo Nanlin to know he had been here, so he didn’t insist further.

The car door opened, and the first to emerge was a burly man. Ling Feng, seeing him, became even more puzzled. Why was Lin Hu here?

As he was wondering this, the rear door of the car opened, and a similarly large-framed, middle-aged man with slightly graying temples got out and looked around at the surroundings.

Then both men looked towards Ling Feng. Lin Hu immediately glared at him, "What are you standing there for? Aren’t you going to come and welcome us?"

"I’m his friend, came over to help out."

Zhang Lan smiled, glanced at Ling Feng, and then went off to the backyard breeding farm.

Lin Huaqiang scrutinized them with his gaze, then took another look at Ling Feng.

At this moment, Ling Feng’s mind was a complete mess, and without thinking too much, he said, "Mr. Lin, please come in. It’s a bit messy inside, I hope you don’t mind."

"Mm."

Lin Huaqiang nodded and stepped into the house.

"Lin Xue, oh Lin Xue, how could you not give me a heads-up!"

Ling Feng inwardly complained, fearing that the visit by this father and son didn’t bode well.

"It’s my breeding farm, it’s currently under construction!" Ling Feng quickly said.

"Oh, take me to have a look!" Lin Huaqiang strode forward.

Ling Feng hurriedly rushed ahead out the door, leading the two towards the back.

He had just taken a few steps when his phone rang—he pulled it out and saw that it was Lin Xue calling, which left him speechless.

"You go ahead with your business, we’ll just take a casual look around," Lin Huaqiang said and continued walking on his own.

Seeing this, Ling Feng didn’t stop him and answered Lin Xue’s call. "What’s up?"

"Well, I have some bad news to tell you..." Lin Xue sounded a bit awkward and cautious.

"No need, your father has already arrived, he almost questioned me about my ancestors!" Ling Feng said exasperatedly.

"Okay, he’s looking out for you after all, don’t worry. I’ve got to go accompany my future father-in-law!" Ling Feng reassured her.

Before Lin Xue could finish, Ling Feng hung up and hurried off towards the breeding farm.

When he got closer, he saw Lin Huaqiang and Lin Hu standing there, with Wang Cai leading Da Qiang and Xiao Qiang in front of them, baring teeth and looking fiercely vigilant!

"Good!"

Lin Huaqiang didn’t say much more and turned to walk ahead.

Ling Feng had no choice but to follow. Seeing Lin Hu signaling him repeatedly, he whispered, "What’s up?"

"You’ve been doing well these past days, my sister has gained some weight!" Lin Hu said.

Ling Feng grinned, "You better not say that in front of her, it’s a quick way to get in trouble!"
