Zhang Lan’s body shivered, as she nervously glanced at the inner room and then glared at Ling Feng, whispering, "You audacious guy, hurry up and go to sleep; there won’t be any trouble tonight!"

Zhang Lan sighed softly, got up, and returned to the inner room before closing the bedroom door.

As time passed by, when midnight arrived, he stood up and headed to the breeding ground in the back.

Seeing the light filtering through the curtains, Ling Feng knew Li Shiyun was still waiting for him, so he approached the door and gently pushed it open.

The door opened with a sound, and he entered the room to see Li Shiyun sitting by the head of the bed, wrapped in a blanket, looking at him with a half-smile.

"Why didn’t you lock the door, what if it wasn’t me who came?" Ling Feng asked unhappily.

"With my current abilities, if it were someone else, I would’ve simply beaten him to death!" Li Shiyun said, raising her small fist confidently.

Ling Feng, unable to resist her adorable appearance, charged like a hungry tiger going for prey, but Li Shiyun swiftly turned around, causing him to lunge at thin air and fall onto the bed!

Ling Feng also felt the temperature seemed to have dropped a bit. Turning to face her, he said, "Feel cold, do you? Let me be your blanket!"

Both Ling Feng and Li Shiyun were stunned by this scene. They stared blankly at the heavy snowfall outside for a while; if it weren’t for Li Fei’er shouting repeatedly on the phone, they wouldn’t know how long it would have taken to snap back to reality.
