The next morning, Ling Feng got up early. He hadn’t even washed his face before he climbed over the wall into the backyard.
What he saw was that all the weeds on the playground had been cleaned, and the trash and rubble were also hauled away, with the inside of the dilapidated houses tidied up as well.
Ling Feng was very satisfied and thought to himself that Li Shiyun’s organizational skills were quite good. In just one day the clean-up was done, when he had thought it would take at least two or three days.

Turning around, he saw Li Shiyun standing there in white, and Ling Feng hurried over with a smile, "I’m very satisfied, thank you, Village Chief!"
"There’s no need to be polite. If you do well and lead everyone to wealth, you’ll have helped me out a lot too," said Li Shiyun.
Ling Feng nodded, then asked, "By the way, how much did it cost to hire people yesterday? I’ll give it to you later."
"There’s no rush, I’ve paid on your behalf. If you’re tight on funds, you can pay me back later," she replied.
"Okay then, I owe you for now!" Ling Feng was about to take out the money immediately, but he quickly changed his mind after a thought!
As they were talking, the construction team that had been found in the county the previous day had arrived, bringing mixers and other machinery and tools in a grand procession of two trucks.
The contractor came over to meet Ling Feng, looked over the size of the courtyard, and then asked, "Mr. Ling, what do you plan to do?"
"Follow me. I’ll explain things one by one!" Ling Feng walked ahead.
Li Shiyun didn’t follow. She stood there, watching, as an inexplicable ripple formed in her heart.
It felt like a dream. Before, Shiliu Village had been so destitute, without a single decent industry. Besides farming, the villagers’ income depended solely on some minor produce from the mountains.

Seeing it was from Mo Jiaolan, he immediately answered.

After hearing her words, Ling Feng paused for a moment and then nodded, "Alright. Don’t rush, drive slowly."
After hanging up the phone, he turned to the contractor and said, "You guys work quickly, I have to go take care of something."
"What if there’s an emergency at the last minute?" the contractor asked.
"That’s easy, come with me!"
Ling Feng said and walked over to where Li Shiyun stood.
As he approached, a bad feeling immediately rose in Li Shiyun’s heart, and sure enough, Ling Feng chuckled, "Village Chief, I suddenly have to go to the county for something. Can you keep an eye on things here for me?"
Li Shiyun wanted to refuse, but couldn’t bring herself to speak, so she could only nod, "Alright."

As soon as he changed into clean clothes at home, the sound of a car horn came from outside. Ling Feng went out to see that Mo Jiaolan had already arrived!

Usually when she saw Ling Feng, there would always be a faint smile on her face, but today she looked quite worried, obviously concerned about the old gentleman at home.

The car entered the county city and once again arrived at the central hospital, where the two went to the seventh floor’s ward.
There were several people in the room. Aside from Chen Yuhe, Ling Feng didn’t recognize anyone but guessed that these were all relatives of the old man lying in the hospital bed.
Upon his entrance, Chen Yuhe’s eyes widened, pointing at Ling Feng in astonishment, "How is it you!"
"It’s me, now keep it down and quiet!" Ling Feng glared at her.
"Everyone, please step outside for a moment and let my friend take a look at grandfather. He’s very skilled in medicine!" Mo Jiaolan said to everyone present.
The others in the room, aside from her and Chen Yuhe, were two women and a man, all appearing to be in their forties. Seeing how young Ling Feng was, they couldn’t help but frown in unison.
However, they still held a great deal of respect for Mo Jiaolan, so they didn’t say anything and left the room.
