Seeing Ling Feng turn his head, Lin Xue, who had just plucked up her courage, suddenly froze!

Ling Feng smiled, "I came to check on you; you’ve been busy all day without a word, your sister and I were getting worried."

"Is it really my sister, or is it you who’s worried?" Miao Lanlan asked playfully, tilting her head to look at him.

"It’s me, satisfied now?" Ling Feng said helplessly.

"Satisfied, very satisfied!"

Miao Lanlan’s face blossomed into a happy smile, she stepped forward and hooked his arm, "Your performance today wasn’t bad, +1 point!"

As they walked out, Ling Feng asked curiously, "How many points make a full score?"

Miao Lanlan replied, "A hundred, of course!"

Ling Feng rolled his eyes, "At one point at a time, when will you ever reach a full score!"

After saying that, she let go of his arm and walked ahead on her own.

Miao Lanlan turned her face away, not wanting to deal with him.

Ling Feng had no comeback and decided to say no more, following her quietly all the way to the construction site’s parking lot.

Miao Lanlan pressed the remote, and the car lights flashed twice. Then she pulled open the door and looked back at him, "Never mind, just come with me!"

"Okay!"

Ling Feng, as if pardoned, quickly nodded his head.

After the car started, it headed straight for the city. Meanwhile, Lin Xue stood silently on the hillside, watching until the car’s taillights were no longer visible before she let out a soft sigh.

Hearing a noise behind her, she turned to look and saw Zhang Lan standing there watching her. She forced a smile, "Sister Lan, what brings you here?"

"I’ve been here for two minutes. What were you looking at?" Zhang Lan asked.

Lin Xue’s face flashed with a hint of embarrassment, and she quickly shook her head with an awkward smile, "Nothing, I wasn’t looking at anything."

Zhang Lan looked at her, smiled, and stepped forward, taking Lin Xue’s hand, "Silly girl, I saw it. Did Ling Feng leave with Miao Lanlan?"

"Yes."

Having her thoughts exposed, Lin Xue lowered her head to look at the tips of her shoes.

"Let’s go, let’s talk inside."

Zhang Lan curled up the corner of her mouth, holding her hand as they walked into the office.

It was eight o’clock in the evening, and Miao Lanlan’s car did not enter the city center but stopped outside a building in the suburbs.

Ling Feng glanced at the huge signboard above the building and turned to ask in confusion, "A hot spring?"

"Yeah, I’ve been tired all day, and I want to take a bath to relax!" Miao Lanlan said while unbuckling her seat belt.

"Uh..."

Ling Feng was speechless, looking at her helplessly and asked, "You came for a hot spring bath, so what about me? Wait outside for you?"

"Together!" Miao Lanlan glanced at him with a teasing smile.

Ling Feng thought he must have heard wrong, his face full of disbelief, and then he said with a wry smile, "Stop joking!"

"Who’s joking with you? Hurry up and get out of the car. Didn’t you say you’d keep me company?"

As soon as they entered, they were greeted by an enthusiastic bow from the receptionist. After taking Miao Lanlan’s money, two cards were handed out.

"Here’s one for you; see you in a bit!"

Miao Lanlan handed a card to Ling Feng and then turned to enter the side that read ’Female Guests’.

He followed the attendant into the men’s section, where there was a large rest area, but the attendant’s pace did not yield; he headed straight into the interior.

Ling Feng had been to public baths before, and the environment here was quite familiar to him, only he didn’t understand why he wasn’t changing clothes here.

After passing the rest area and going down a corridor, they continued a bit further, and the attendant bowed, saying, "Your changing room is here; after you change, you can go to the bath inside."
