The Greatest Village Doctor In The World-Chapter 201 - Raising a Lolita?
Watching Ling Feng sprint with the speed of a 100-meter dash to chase after the taxi, Miao Lanlan was dumbfounded!
She gritted her teeth and couldn’t help but exclaim angrily, "This idiot, has he forgotten I’m right here? And you’re chasing after it on your own?"
Feeling helpless, she quickly started the car and stepped on the gas, charging forward!
Fortunately, the taxi wasn’t going too fast, so she quickly caught up with Ling Feng, then rolled down the window and shouted, "You dummy, can’t you just get in the car to chase?"
Ling Feng glanced at her and thought to himself, I’m just trying to be helpful here, and this is what I get in return!
He came to a stop and got into the car, then said, "This is what you wanted to do, don’t blame me for it!"
"What do you mean?"
Miao Lanlan kept her eyes fixed on the taxi ahead and asked intently.
"Chasing like this could easily blow our cover, and if the police start asking questions, you can’t go back on that bet!" Ling Feng said.
"You!"
Miao Lanlan was at a loss for words, not expecting him to still be thinking about the bet, which she had completely dismissed!
Ignoring the man with not a shred of decency, Miao Lanlan pressed the gas pedal down, and immediately gave chase.
They hadn’t gone far when the taxi stopped by the roadside, and then three people got out.
"Stop, leave the rest to me!" Ling Feng said.
"Be careful, there are cameras all over the streets, getting caught on tape will cause trouble for you too!" Miao Lanlan reminded.
"Don’t worry, I’ll be careful!" With those words from Ling Feng, he was already outside the car.
The two men and one woman who had left the taxi entered an alleyway, and seeing this, Ling Feng thought to himself that this suited his plans perfectly – today was their unlucky day!
He followed the trio into the dark alley, which was pitch-black without any streetlights, and the three were using their cell phones as flashlights to navigate.
Taking advantage of the darkness, the skinny guy’s hand was wandering over the girl’s waist and buttocks, seemingly unable to restrain himself!
Ling Feng glanced at them and instantly sped up, shooting out like a cannonball!
"Bang!"
A muffled sound rang out as Blondie was sent flying and knocked out cold against the wall.
The skinny guy hadn’t even had time to react when he turned around, he felt darkness envelop his vision, then a sharp pain in his lower body, causing his eyes to roll back as he too passed out from the pain.
Having dealt with two of them in an instant, Ling Feng turned to look at the young woman.
She was so frightened that she stood there stunned without making a sound!
"It’s better if you didn’t shout out; otherwise, you’d end up like them!" Ling Feng said in a cold voice.
The girl’s body trembled slightly, "Big brother, what do you want to do? I don’t have any money on me..."
"I don’t want your money!"
Ling Feng said coldly, and wanting to avoid harming a woman, he punched the brick wall next to them, creating a deep hole, then continued, "How old are you, hanging out with such scum?"
"I, I’m ten, ten..."
The girl was terrified, her eyes flickering as she pondered whether to tell her real age or make one up.
Ling Feng had no interest in hearing it and said with a sneer, "No matter how old you are, at an age where you should be studying, study well. If I find out that you bring your classmates out again, or come out yourself to mingle with these thugs, your face will end up like that wall!"
"I, I understand."
"I will be watching you from the shadows!"
With another intimidating remark, Ling Feng turned and left.
Several minutes after he had left, the girl sat down on the ground, patting her chest and muttering to herself in a low voice, "Oh my god, are these even human strength?"
Back in the car, Miao Lanlan curiously asked, "How did you deal with those three?"
"Broke one guy’s bones, trashed the other, and I didn’t touch the girl, just scared her with a few words," Ling Feng said indifferently.
"Oh, I didn’t expect you to be, somewhat chivalrous!"
After Miao Lanlan made the comment, she turned to look at the girl still unconscious in the back seat: "What about her?"
"Easy!"
Ling Feng said, and he took out a pill from his waist and popped it into the girl’s mouth.
A moment later, the girl moaned, then sat up rubbing her head: "Where am I?"
"You’ve been kidnapped by us. Make a noise and you’re done for!" Ling Feng warned in a low voice.
The girl named Fei’er was startled. Once she realized she was in a car, surrounded by darkness, she didn’t dare to move an inch.
Seeing her like that, Ling Feng felt both annoyed and amused: "Are you scared? Regretting going out to drink with others now?"
"I, I didn’t, it was my classmate. She said it was her birthday today and insisted on dragging me out!" Fei’er explained.
Ling Feng was taken aback, remembered the conversation he had overheard between He Feng and that guy with dyed hair, and thought this girl didn’t seem as frivolous as the previous one, so he said, "That’s good to hear. I was just scaring you. Where do you live? I’ll take you home now."
"Who are you? Why am I in your car?" the now alert Fei’er asked with confusion.
"Never mind who I am. Someone wanted to harm you earlier. You’ll hear about it tomorrow. If the police come asking, just don’t mention me," Ling Feng instructed.
Seeing the girl’s skeptical expression, Miao Lanlan couldn’t help saying, "We saved you, not harmed you. Quickly tell us where you live. We’ve got other things to attend to!"
"Oh, I live in Yunzhu Community," Fei’er said.
Ten minutes later, Miao Lanlan drove up to the entrance of the community, then turned back with a smile: "Okay, try to avoid keeping company with shady people from now on. The outside world can be very dangerous, especially for little girls like you!"
Sitting in the back, the streetlights ahead a bit dazzling, Fei’er couldn’t make out Ling Feng and Miao Lanlan’s faces. She nodded slightly: "I know, thank you."
"Get out and go home. Be safe, and don’t forget what I said earlier!" Ling Feng reminded her.
"Mhm!"
Fei’er nodded, stepped out of the car, and Miao Lanlan drove away.
After driving for a while, she slowed down and turned to Ling Feng: "Oh no, she might have seen my license plate!"
"Uh, what do we do now?" Ling Feng also realized the problem.
"If we have to, we ditch the car, claim it was stolen last night. But I think that girl won’t rat us out," Miao Lanlan said.
Ling Feng glanced at her, somewhat speechless: "You really are willing to go to extremes. To just throw away such a nice car, are you that afraid of losing to me?"
"Get over yourself, I’m never afraid of losing!" Miao Lanlan rolled her eyes.
Then she looked at Ling Feng: "Look who’s talking. I saw that you thought the little girl was cute, and you went after those three guys to beat them up. Are you trying to start some sort of ’little sister raising plan’ or what?"
"Damn it!"
Ling Feng nearly choked, feeling it strange to hear such words coming from her mouth.
He glared at Miao Lanlan: "How corrupted can your mind be, conjuring up things like that? If I really had those intentions, why would I let her go? Wouldn’t I just keep her at home?"
"Well, you’re even more twisted than I am to think about confining someone. Really cruel, tsk tsk tsk!"
Miao Lanlan said with a disgusted face.
Ling Feng was exasperated and didn’t want to talk anymore, leaning back in his seat: "Should we head back now? It’s going to be daylight if we don’t leave soon!"
"I know, quit nagging!"
Miao Lanlan gave him a scornful look and quickly started the car, returning to the mansion.
