Chapter 1923: Chapter 1922: Seeking Justice

Ling Feng smiled, "Of course, to seek justice!"

"But what about the process? What do you want to do?" Linna asked.

"You’ll find out soon enough!"

Ling Feng smiled again and said, "Let’s go to Canberra City!"

He turned and walked out the door, and Linna quickly followed.

Outside, Ling Feng summoned Little Fei, and after leaping onto its back, he waved to Linna, "Come on up!"

"..."

Linna’s eyes were full of curiosity and she asked, "What’s this all about?"

"The distance is a bit far, and I didn’t leave a teleportation there, so we’ll have to fly over!" Ling Feng said.

"Alright."

Linna was bewildered but still leaped onto Little Fei’s back.

Feeling fresh and new as she looked at the massive beetle beneath her feet, she walked around observing it.

Before she knew it, she realized she had already risen high into the sky without even noticing!

"It’s flying so smoothly, amazing!" Linna said with starry eyes.

"A minor skill, not worth mentioning!"

Ling Feng chuckled, feeling very proud inside.

Once they ascended high into the air, Little Fei headed in the direction of Canberra City, with Linna standing in the howling wind, thoroughly enjoying it and completely forgetting to ask Ling Feng what he was going to do.

When they arrived, Ling Feng had Little Fei start descending slowly over the city center!

This, of course, was to create a sensational effect.

As Little Fei’s massive figure emerged from the clouds, people on the ground and in the buildings stared in amazement!

People inside buildings weren’t as affected, but cars on the ground had it tough. Pedestrians stopped to watch, and some drivers looked up at the sky, resulting in a series of fender-bender accidents!

The ground descended into chaos, but Ling Feng remained unconcerned. After landing, he didn’t jump off Little Fei’s back but instead brought out Little Hei, Jin Gang, and Little Chong!

When these massive creatures appeared, countless exclamations echoed between the streets!

People who didn’t understand fled, staying away from the trouble, but more chose to take out their phones and start filming from perceived safe distances.

Linna looked at Ling Feng, somewhat speechless, "Is this your plan?"

"Though simple and crude, it’s the most effective plan!"

Ling Feng smiled, sat cross-legged, and calmly continued, "Now, it’s their turn to make a move!"

"You’ve already drawn your biggest card, who else can handle this?"

Linna was at a loss but sat down with him.

With sirens wailing, the local police quickly responded, driving into the streets.

Neither Little Hei nor the others moved, lounging or lying relaxedly in the open space, not seeing the police as a threat at all.

The other side didn’t dare act rashly, knowing that even if they fired, it wouldn’t be enough to kill such large creatures outright, and doing so might bring on disastrous consequences!

So, they stood at a distance, cautiously observing, unsure of how to proceed.

Ling Feng waited for a while but saw no official figures appear, so he called Gu Li, "What’s happening, won’t anyone here know why I’m here?"

"The whole incident has been posted online, boss. Your sudden appearance is being broadcast live. I bet it’ll soon be dug up why you’re here!" Gu Li said.

"Alright then, I’ll keep waiting. If they don’t give me an explanation today, I’m not leaving!" Ling Feng said.

"Boss, you’re so bad!"

Gu Li laughed mischievously and then hung up.

After another half an hour, Ling Feng was getting impatient. He called back!

Ling Feng puzzled, "What’s up?"

"Boss, Kangaroo Country’s Defense Minister jumped from a building!" Gu Li said.

"Hmm?"

Ling Feng paused, then his thoughts raced, "What? That guy became the scapegoat?"

"Probably, all the blame for the attack has likely been pinned on him, and I guess it won’t be long before they issue a statement!" Gu Li said.

"Those politicians, truly shameless!"

Ling Feng squinted his eyes upon hearing this, a hint of killing intent flashing in his eyes!

Just then, several black sedans pulled up, stopping next to Jin Gang’s foot as big as a bus, and a group of black-clothed men escorted a middle-aged man in his fifties out of the car.

Bringing a face full of shock, he looked up at the gigantic creatures overhead, slightly trembling with fear.

If Jin Gang lifted his foot right now, they’d be squashed into meat paste!

Fortunately, Ling Feng didn’t give any attack orders, so Jin Gang stood silently, gazing down in boredom at the people beneath.

Escorted by the black-clothed men, the middle-aged man crossed the streets and soon reached where Little Fei was.

Ling Feng saw them with his divine sense but pretended not to.

The middle-aged man, upon arriving, found Little Fei towering over ten meters tall, with Ling Feng seated in the middle behind him, so he couldn’t even see the person!

Forced into no other choice, he shouted loudly, "Mr. Ling, Mr. Ling!"

"Hey, they’re calling you!"

Linna had heard the noise and nudged Ling Feng.

Ling Feng looked at her, "What? Have you forgotten you almost got hit by your own country’s missile?"

"Uh..."

Linna paused, then smiled bitterly, "I’m considering things from your perspective. Didn’t you want to seek justice?"

"Not yet!"

Ling Feng glanced at her and said softly, "I need to make them uncomfortable for a while longer!"

"Alright then..."

Linna understood why Ling Feng wasn’t responding, so she stopped talking.

At this moment, several helicopters were already circling in the sky, with both military and civilian ones, the latter being from TV stations dedicated to filming breaking news.

As for the number of civilian onlookers, it was incalculable—there were just too many.

Moreover, through the phones of these onlookers, the scene was being broadcast worldwide.

Everyone glued to the screens watched as Kangaroo Country’s officials stood under that giant beetle, trying to communicate with Ling Feng, but he utterly ignored them!

This scene became a laughingstock for many, but in conference rooms of major governments worldwide, all attendees frowned tightly, not looking pleased!

Sharing similar feelings, they all thought about how to respond if Ling Feng pulled the same stunt in their own country!

Kangaroo Country’s reputation was utterly tarnished, having failed in a sneak attack. Now cornered with no solution—it’s hard to foresee how this play will end!

Many were clueless about Ling Feng’s intentions. If it was revenge, he brought those monsters, but they didn’t move. If it was reason, he ignored Kangaroo Country’s leaders!
