As he spoke, a sudden voice from Xun Qianqian echoed from a nearby house, "Ling Feng, we’re here!"

Hearing this voice, Ling Feng immediately rushed over.

The worker tried to step forward to stop him, only to be kicked away by Ling Feng and sent flying. When he landed, his eyes rolled back, and he passed out completely.

Ling Feng kicked open the door and saw Li Yumei huddled in a corner with red eyes, while Xun Qianqian, wielding a small knife, was confronting seven or eight men!

Ling Feng was so furious to see the two women encircled by these men that he stepped forward and unleashed three consecutive kicks!

Three men were sent flying and slammed into the walls of the portable housing. As the walls were flimsy, the third man went straight through and flew outside!

The remaining men, after seeing this, immediately barked a shout and charged at him!

To avoid mistakenly injuring Xun Qianqian and Li Yumei, Ling Feng quickly retreated from the house.

Outdoors, four men surrounded him, and one of them said viciously, "Kid, you dare to hit the Luo Family’s people, you’re finished today!"

"Really? I’d like to see what you can do!" Ling Feng sneered.

"Attack together!"

At that command, the four men moved simultaneously!

"My sister has been delivering food to them lately, and for the past several days, this guy has been harassing her. Today, when I heard about it, I specifically followed her here, but that man didn’t restrain himself and even harassed my sister in front of me!"

"Then I slapped him, but he would not let it go. He actually had these men surround us, wanting to... to do something terrible!"

After hearing the story, Ling Feng became so angry his breathing quickened. He turned to look at the men lying on the ground, "Which one was it?"

"He’s not here; that man went up the mountain!"

Just as Xun Qianqian finished speaking, a languid voice came from the distance, "Now I’m back."

Following the voice, Ling Feng beheld a slender man walking towards them.

"That’s him, the one who has been bullying my sister these past few days!" Xun Qianqian pointed at him and said.

Ling Feng sized up the man. Different from the others, he was not in work clothes but in casual attire, looking like he was not part of the mining crew.

"Who are you?" Ling Feng asked.

The man glanced over the scene, a flash of surprise in his eyes, then said with a faint smile, "My name is Zhou Hao, a member of the Luo Family."

"A member of the Luo Family with the surname Zhou?" Ling Feng narrowed his eyes.

"Well, to be precise, my mother’s surname is Luo," Zhou Hao replied with a smug grin.

"Oh, so that’s the reason you bully people?" Ling Feng asked with a cold sneer.

Zhou Hao shrugged his shoulders, "So what if it is? The girl looks attractive, what’s wrong with a little fun? I didn’t rape her."

"It’s you who started by hitting our workers. If the mining work stops, the loss will be tremendous, and you couldn’t cover the damages even if you bankrupted yourself!"

Ling Feng didn’t quite know where this guy’s confidence came from, as he prattled on with an audacious look, completely unaware that his end was near!

He didn’t rush to act but turned to look around instead: "Why isn’t Zhang Lan here?"

"You’re looking for her? Rest assured, even if she were here, she wouldn’t speak for you. I’m the one in charge here!" Zhou Hao said with a sneer.

Ling Feng gave a slight smile and handed Ya Ya over to Xun Qianqian.

Then he looked at Zhou Hao: "I’m not looking for her to call for help, I just hoped there’d be someone to collect your corpse!"

With that, he moved like lightning, charging forward!

Zhou Hao’s pupils tightened: "Have you gone mad!"

"Slap!"

A loud smack echoed across his face, and he immediately felt like he had lost sensation in half of his face, as a metallic taste filled his mouth, followed by blood and two teeth spilling out!

This slap had Zhou Hao completely dumbfounded; he covered his face and mumbled unclearly, "You’re all crazy, I’m calling the Luo Family right now, no one’s leaving here alive today!"

"That’s what I should be saying!"

A single slap from Ling Feng wasn’t enough. He stepped forward and kicked, toppling the man to the ground!

Zhou Hao never expected to get hit even after revealing his identity, and was so stunned that he forgot to make the call!

Ling Feng didn’t strike again, instead squatting down to look at him: "Make the call, I’m waiting for you to call reinforcements!"

"You, you just wait!"

Upon hearing this, Zhou Hao immediately fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.

Once connected, he cried out with a whimpering voice: "Uncle, send someone quickly, someone wants to kill me!"

"It’s a villager, this guy has brute strength, he’s beaten up our guys, and he wants to kill us all!"

Ling Feng watched his performance with a sneer, thinking he really wanted to see if this uncle would back him up!

After making the call, Zhou Hao glared at Ling Feng with poisoned eyes: "You’re done for, just wait, the Luo Family’s experts are on their way. If you have the guts, don’t run!"

"Me, run?"

Ling Feng sneered, and landed a punch: "I haven’t had my fill of fighting yet, why would I even think of running?"

He held back his strength; otherwise, that single punch would have been enough to kill him.

With all his resentment bursting out, Ling Feng thought today was Zhou Hao’s lucky day to be his outlet!

Punch after punch rained down, and at first, Zhou Hao’s screams were akin to a pig being slaughtered, but eventually, the noise subsided, and he actually passed out.

Only then did Ling Feng stand up, and as a parting gift, gave him another kick before turning back to Xun Qianqian and Li Yumei.

Both women were dumbstruck, unable to believe that the usually jovial Ling Feng could be so terrifying when enraged!

"Don’t worry, you two head home first, I’ve got this," said Ling Feng.

Xun Qianqian’s eyes were filled with stars: "I’m not leaving, aren’t there other people coming? I’ll stay and fight with you!"

"Don’t worry, it won’t come to a fight. I stayed to clean up the mess, not for a brawl," Ling Feng said with a wry smile.

"It won’t come to a fight? You’ve hit so many of their people, how could they let it go?" Xun Qianqian asked.

"If I say it’s fine, then it’s fine. You take Yu Mei back first, be a good girl!" Ling Feng instructed.

Reluctantly, but considering Li Yumei and Ya Ya, Xun Qianqian eventually nodded: "Alright then."

After watching them leave, Ling Feng found a stool, sat down in the clearing, and quietly waited.
