"I can finally see what you see in him, this boy can switch from his gentle nature to his killer instincts mode in seconds, it's as if there are two different souls residing in that one body of his!"

"I don't know what he must have gone through to achieve such a state, but I have no doubts about him being a killer anymore, the way he kills is almost like an art; he never simply slaughters an enemy, he tends to kill them in the most gruesome or skilful way, describing the art of killing a beauty with the way he sheds blood, he is what you would call a maniac," Edward said as he continued to watch at that moment.

Selene didn't bother to tell her master that she had foreseen this, because even though Alec had taken down two more Tier 4 opponents, it didn't change the fact that they were still at a significant disadvantage against the undead army.

Currently, they were able to suppress the ghouls and the evolved skeleton army due to the army's high morale. However, she knew that they couldn't maintain this state indefinitely.

As humans, they would inevitably grow weary and run out of stamina.

Her concern was what Alec would do when that happened, failing to find a solution in a split second could lead to the demise of the entire team.

Alec, too, was calculating how many more enemies they would need to eliminate to reach a safe zone, As he moved, he swiftly dispatched ghouls in pairs and trios, that threw themselves at him as those below the Tier 4 level seemed unable to withstand more than one strike from his blade, whether delivered vertically or horizontally.

"I suppose I'll need to eliminate all the Tier 4 opponents first to gain a tactical advantage, without the heads of the undead to support, the rest of them will fall,"

Alec muttered to himself, setting his sights on eradicating all the Tier 4 undead on the battlefield before strategizing further.

Facing the daunting numbers before him, he yearned to confront the Lich, but he understood that the timing wasn't right.

Instead, he swiftly turned his attention to Pale and Lucas, deciding to assist Pale in vanquishing the Bone Knight.

But he Conjured a Terra bullet first, as he closed his left eye and brought his hand closer to the open right eyeball, focusing on the Ghoul that was still entangled with Lucas.

Although Lucas seemed to have the upper hand, but he was taking too long to dispatch the Ghoul, prompting Alec to intervene and target the weakened Tier 4 opponent first.

As the bullet lengthened, its power increased, and Alec could feel the small sparks coursing through its body as it rotated at high speed.

With a resounding bang, Alec staggered back two steps, feeling a slight soreness in his shoulder from shooting the sniper Terra bullet ( that's what he named it, since it shot more longer distance and had more damage).

However, as soon as he regained his balance, he checked to see if the Ghoul had been vanquished.

Locking eyes with Lucas, who nodded at him with his glaive in hand, Alec smiled before dashing toward the Bone Knight and Pale.

[> 3/10 Mid Rank lifeform killed.]

His primary goal now was to rid the battlefield of all the undead knights and the Lich before they could form any kind of synergy.

The Bone knight kicked Lucas backwards and slashed his sword horizontally in an attempt to finish off Pale, but earth bullets began hitting him in different places on his body, forcing him to raise his hand to protect his face.

Although the bullets were unable to cause severe damage, they successfully distracted him from completing his attack on Pale, which had been Alec's intention.

Bending slightly, Alec used the earth beneath his feet to create a platform and propel himself flying towards the Bone knight.

In mid-air, he hurled the Bone Katana towards the knight as if throwing a lance, and all the Bone knight did was flick his great sword to deflect the Bone Katana towards a nearby location.

"Fucking ice this bastard!" Alec exclaimed as Pale, who had just gotten up, casted a spell.

[> Mid Tier Spell – Blizzard <]

The spell summoned a powerful storm of ice and snow, freezing the Bone knight caught in the center, while Pale was knocked back and coughed up blood.

"You have to finish him fast, I don't have enough Mana to keep this spell active for long," Pale said, but Alec was already descending and couldn't respond.

Upon landing, the first thing Alec did was issue a command.

"Get the hell out of here! Stop engaging with the skeletons, I have this covered!"

The moment Alec spoke, they didn't question him, they all stopped trying to engage with the skeletons, as they have been exhausted from fighting those unkillable bones.

At first, they had thought that killing the skeleton would solve their problems, but they soon realized how delusional they were.

The only one they could kill was the bone knight; killing his summons wouldn't eliminate the threat as their bones would just reattached itself back in place.

And the Tier 3 skeletons were difficult to keep occupied, Agnes and the others had only been able to survive because the skeletons battle skills were not as refined as the bone knight's, and they were slower, allowing them to keep the skeletons at bay.

So when they heard Alec's voice, they gladly abandoned their duty, as they have gotten tired hoping that Pale would be able to defeat the bone knight once again.

[> Mid Tier Spell – Gravity Warp <]

Alec placed both of his hands together as he cast a spell that was beyond his rank.

Blood spilled from his lip, but aside from that, he was okay, as his physique could already rival some low Tier 4 beings, and since he had enough mana, he had successfully casted the spell.

The only drawback was that he felt his internal organs quake, as they were not strong enough to withstand a mid Tier Spell yet, but he could already feel the mana flowing through his blood stream, moving to heal him.

As he opened both hands, a small revolving black hole began to draw all the remaining summoned skeletons of the Bone knight inside, despite their resistance.

Even those who tried to use their blades to pierce the ground were all drawn into the huge black hole.

When the last one had been dragged inside, Alec closed his hand, making a few hand seals as a black hole tattoo appeared just behind his hand.

As he turned back to the iced Bone knight, Alec said to Pale,

"Release this guy!" and Pale stopped pumping mana into the spell, and the blizzard ceased.

The ice that imprisoned the Bone knight began to crack as Alec waited in front of him, ready for the knight to emerge and be defeated.
