The game has become a real alternate world-Chapter 933 - 615: Landing at the Harbor
Anwein Continent, the peninsula at the northeastern corner of the continent.
In the distance along the coast, an Alchemy Sailing Ship cuts through the waves on the sea.
It skillfully gathers sunlight and Magic Power from the air. Despite the waves surging over the sea, causing the ship to rise and fall, the cabin remains very stable, making it feel as though riding a carriage on land.
On the deck, a well-dressed child leans on the railing, eyes fixed on the distant land, asking, "Sister Asira, are we almost there?"
The Leopard Beastman Asira rests against the mast, gently combing Eva's hair while cuddling her, nodding slightly.
Eva, dressed in a beautiful skirt, is being handled like a doll by Asira, her expression full of despair.
"I spent a long time preparing this outfit. Isn't it pretty? Give us a smile." Asira looks at Eva, gently tapping the corner of her mouth with her finger.
Eva sighs helplessly, then suddenly struggles fiercely, jumping onto the deck and yelling loudly, "Dwarf uncle, save me, sister Asira is too annoying!"
"What?! You actually said I'm annoying!" Asira screams in disbelief, swishing her tail to entwine Eva and drag her back.
The Dwarf, repairing things nearby, sighs helplessly, shielding Eva behind him, gently patting the incoming tail, saying, "If you like such clothes, why not wear them yourself? We won't laugh at you."
"Who likes them! Stop talking nonsense!" Asira yells in anger, clenching her fists.
At this moment, Adam, sitting nearby flipping through books, calmly soothes them, saying, "Sister just wants Eva to look pretty."
"That's right." Asira nods, then abruptly pulls Adam into her arms, vigorously tousling his hair, "Adam is such a good child."
"Sigh." Adam sighs helplessly.
The tiny Pokanasha pushes open the door to the lower deck room and slowly crawls up.
She wears green clothes, and due to her Blood Race lineage, her skin appears exceptionally pale, like a delicate porcelain doll in the sunlight.
"Hiya!" she utters a cute sound, climbing onto a bench, extending her chubby little hands, pointing to the land by the distant coast, "There, over there, where is it? There are souls of blood crying." Her words carry a hint of oddity.
The adults on the deck hear it, exchange silent glances.
Asira walks to Pokanasha, holds her in her arms, asks softly, "Pokanasha, did you sense something?"
Pokanasha nods: "Over there, it makes me want to go, many, many people are calling me."
Asira roughly understands, sighs helplessly: "That's the origin place of the Scarlet Curse. Years ago, the Blood Race King borrowed a creation-time wish there, causing every race to possibly suffer the Scarlet Curse, thus giving birth to new Blood Race members."
Upon hearing these words, the children fall silent, their expressions serious, seemingly lost in memory.
The Scarlet Curse is no pleasant experience for them, having completely altered their original lives.
Especially among them, there are children who once lived normal lives, but were unfortunately cursed, becoming objects of disgust, fear, and abandonment.
"Alright, don't be sad, we'll soon be home. Here, no one fears or harms you.
There are many here who are just like you. You should know, the leader of the Night Watchers—Kana, also carries Blood Race lineage, his Knight—Lady Alyris, is even hailed as the scarlet Valkyrie."
The children's moods shift quickly, soon returning to laughter, chasing, and playing on the deck.
It wasn't long before the ship smoothly docked.
All the kids couldn't resist poking their heads out to take a look.
"Wow! Such a big ship!"
A colossal vessel was docked at the port, alongside which the "Warm Fireplace" seemed like a tiny shrimp.
The port was densely packed with numerous ships, with a staggering throughput.
In the sky, visible were swarms of a flying creature. Their entire bodies were fluffy and round, with a long, thin tail ending in a small pom-pom.
Their limbs were long and strong, with short wings on their round bodies. Whatever magic was applied to them resulted in their free soaring in the sky.
These fluffy, round creatures bore simple attire of various types.
Most wore simple yellow-numbered clothing, with most grasping boxes larger than themselves, shuttling back and forth in the air.
Some donned guard-like outfits, carrying Alchemy Equipment, flying around scanning and patrolling.
Also, many of these wore similar guard attire, but topped with sailor caps. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
A creature wearing a sailor cap landed on the deck, standing on the mast, surveying everyone on board. Its slender tail swung back and forth, with a ring-shaped Alchemy Equipment hanging from it.
Its feet held some stamps, books, and pens, huge round eyes donned goggles-like items.
It first performed a simple scan of the whole ship, then scanned the ship's members.
"Beep beep, ship docked and landed—Night Watcher, Warm Fireplace. Asira's squad, welcome home." Its Metal machinery emitted a soft female voice, then used its limbs to pull out a sheet, stamped and handed to Asira.
After Asira received the sheet, it directly flew away.
"What's that?" Adam curiously asked at this moment. He had never seen such a creature, everything before him was incredibly new.
"That's a flying beast, a helper raised by Night Watchers, trained by the Beast Tamer among them. They're very smart and stable in emotions indeed." Asira explained.
To know, all five members of Asira's squad were Beast Tamers, so they were well-versed with flying beasts, having even participated in their upbringing.
"Alright, kids, follow the Dwarf uncle, don't get lost." The Dwarf patted his Armor, laughing while leading the children off the ship.
The others also escorted the children off the ship to land.
Once off the ship, the children truly grasped the look of this port. They widened their eyes, curious to see everything around them.
"This is the port located east of Eastern Wilderness, the first landing site, also the birthplace of Night Watchers—Lestovon Port, meaning the place of initial flame ignition." The Mage in the team remarked, as if introducing the history here to these children.
