Chapter 1441: Chapter 784: Turning the Tide (Part 2)

After all, if the world collapses, these two cities won’t be able to hold out for long either.

"Liu Hun, do you really think you can do whatever you want just because you’re back? I’m telling you, even though you’re back, the outcome remains the same and won’t change at all!" The middle-aged man in the suit was a bit angered when Liu Hun ignored his presence.

Seeing his expression, Liu Hun smiled, shook his head at the people in front of him, and said to himself, "If this were in the past, I might have been a little wary of you, but now that I’m back, it means your arrogant days in the country are over."

"Aren’t you worried we might manipulate them into committing mass suicide?" The middle-aged man in a black suit turned pale after hearing Liu Hun’s words.

They all knew Liu Hun’s character well, and if he didn’t have the confidence, he wouldn’t act like this. The fact that Liu Hun did act suggests he was very confident.

If their power in the country really fell apart, then he wouldn’t dream of returning alive.

"I’m not here to chit-chat with you. The fact that you met me today is just bad luck for you." Liu Hun sighed, then glanced at Zhang Deming and continued, "Can you ask your wife and the others to go back to their room? They might not be able to handle what’s coming next."

Upon hearing Liu Hun’s words, Zhang Deming didn’t hesitate at all and nodded to his wife and Zhang Chen before returning to the room. Liu Hun then said to Laogui, "Take them out, so there are no future problems!"

As soon as the words fell, Laogui didn’t hesitate at all and charged into the group. Although Liu Hun hadn’t absorbed a particular power in Silent Hill like Laogui had in the past, the power Liu Hun absorbed from Laogui then was already enough to make him stronger.

Even though Laogui’s power wasn’t as strong, it was more than enough to handle these guys. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Soon, the scene turned bloody, and the middle-aged man in the black suit standing nearby was filled with terror.

If Liu Hun’s subordinate was this terrifying, imagine how much more Liu Hun would be. If Liu Hun made a move, he’d have no chance of leaving alive.

Even if failing the mission meant facing certain outcomes, if there’s a chance to survive now, who would choose death?

Just as the man was planning to escape, a burst of golden light suddenly flashed in the sky. Without time to react, the middle-aged man was struck by the light, and his large body crashed to the ground.

As the sound echoed, his body lay on the ground, a trail of red blood at his lips, and his eyes were fixed on a figure that jumped over the wall.

Liu Hun noticed this, not expecting the man to try and escape, nor could he figure out who was helping him by injuring the man.

Liu Hun knew clearly that if the guy got away, his plan would be in trouble.

But when he saw the newcomer, Liu Hun was stunned. It was none other than his little junior sister he met before.

Since they parted ways, Liu Hun hadn’t seen his junior sister, thinking she had returned to their master, so her sudden appearance was surprising.

"Hehe, Liu Hun, surprised to see me? I’ve been waiting for you in Beijing for a long time, and you should really thank me this time; how about we go to the amusement park tomorrow as your way of thanking me." Little junior sister said with a smile after seeing Liu Hun’s expression.

"Why are you here?" Liu Hun frowned at her words and asked, "Was this all your plan?"

"If it was my plan, then they’d all be dead by now. I had nothing to do with this, in fact, if it weren’t for me delaying things, those higher-ups would be dead long before you got back." Little junior sister pouted, explaining to Liu Hun.

"What? Our actions delayed because you interfered?" Finally, the middle-aged man injured by the little junior sister reacted with anger, addressing her.

Even if he knew the little junior sister had a high status in the old man’s eyes, he still couldn’t be polite now.

If not for her interference, he would have completed his mission and wouldn’t be suffering Liu Hun’s return.

This, in essence, was all due to the little junior sister, leading to his downfall.

"Sorry, although we’re aligned, I truly like Liu Hun, so I have to sacrifice you a little." She said regretfully.

"You...you..." Pointing to her in anger, he found himself unable to argue further, as words seemed futile at this point.

"Liu Hun, shouldn’t you accompany me tomorrow?" She ignored him, looking at Liu Hun with a smile.

"Finish him." Liu Hun ordered Laogui without responding to her.

"Got it!" Laogui moved with excitement, enjoying the prospect of killing, and rushed at the man.

Having been severely injured, he was no match, quickly dying by Laogui’s hand.

Afterward, Laogui brushed himself off and reported to Liu Hun, "Boss, all done. Shall we continue the rampage?"

Liu Hun glanced at him before looking back at the little junior sister.

Seeing his gaze, she pouted, "Liu Hun, you still don’t trust me? Without my help delaying them, those guys would’ve been dead by now."

"I appreciate it, but I can’t accompany you now. Maybe after everything is settled, but not now." Liu Hun said seriously to her.
