The First Store System-Chapter 66 - New Customer(2)
Chapter 66: New Customer(2)
"It seems he still needs two more inferior mental healing pills," Aakesh commented after seeing the man acting crazily. The mental healing pills specialized in healing the traumas since the man still was living the moment before losing unconsciousness, it meant he had gone through severe trauma, and three pills weren't enough to heal those traumas.
"Senior! Can you bend the rules and sell the extra two pills," Maria asked after hearing Aakesh. As there was a rule of only selling three pills to a customer, he had to bend the rules if she wanted two more pills.
"No!" Aakesh refused straight away without even thinking for a moment.
"Senior-"
"There is no point in complaining. I don't break the rules," Maria wanted to speak something, but Aakesh cut her off before she could complete her sentence and expressionlessly refused to bend the rules. In reality, even if he wanted, he couldn't break the rules; the system makes the rules, not him.
"But Senior, We are two people and can buy six pills," Maria still didn't give up and tried to make Aakesh sell the two pills.
"I have only sold these pills on your name. He's an unconscious man, so he isn't eligible to buy any products," Aakesh expressionlessly restored.
Maria wanted to speak something, but after seeing the indifference in Aakesh's eyes, not a single word came out of her mouth.
She suddenly remembered that she had one mental healing pill in her space ring, so she took it out and forcefully fed it to the man. The man fell silent after it acted.
He regained his sanity after the pill acted and started looking frantically around the store. He had a horrified face as he was facing some horror right now, making his face weird. f𝔯ee𝘸𝘦𝚋𝒏oѵ𝐞l.c𝒐𝓂
"Whe...where am I...I..I...I?" He tremblingly asked Maria while frantically looking all around the store.
"Calm down. You're safe here," Maria tried to calm the man down, seeing the man acting like he was facing a horrific situation.
"Where am I...I...I?" He asked the same question again.
"You're in 'The First Store', the store for all your needs," Aakesh suddenly responded, making the man turn around and look at him.
"Aagh! Keep your distance from me, you monster!" The man screamed in horror, seeing Aakesh.
Suddenly the temperature in the store turned cold as Lily showed his face. "Leave him! His mental situation isn't right!" Aakesh said, seeing Lily glaring at the man, while both the stranger and Maria had a horrified face feeling the chill in the air.
"He's insulting you for not being a human," Lily angrily complained as to how could she not see that the man called Aakesh a monster due to his blue skin.
There were several races living together in the Bisan Kingdom, but that didn't mean they had healthy relations between them. Issues would regularly emerge between the people belonging to different races in the Kingdom.
"Let it be!" Aakesh said as he didn't care about what the man thought of him. He couldn't just kill someone for calling him a monster.
"Hmph!" Lily scoffed and returned back to her favorite place, Aakesh's head.
"Sorry, senior!" Maria apologized after the temperature in the store got normal, while the man started running toward the door.
Maria seeing him running, followed him and before he could reach the door, grabbed his neck and dragged him back. The man was only an intermediate Nascent Soul cultivator, so it wasn't tough for Maria.
"Do you have money?" She then asked the man. Her voice was colder than before as she also didn't like him calling Aakesh a monster.
If there was someone whom she respected after her father, it was Aakesh, so calling him a monster was equivalent to insulting her. The man had some hint of sanity, and he could sense the power released by her, so he nodded his head and pointed at the space ring in his ring.
"Good, now order three inferior mental healing pills," She ordered without any hint of emotion while pointing at Aakesh.
The man did as Maria ordered him to do. Aakesh went up to the shelves and brought the three pills out. He then handed them to the man. The man then handed them over to Maria.
Maria pushed all the pills simultaneously down the man's throat. The man lost consciousness right away, but the next moment, he woke up. Finally, complete sanity could be seen in his eyes.
"Where am I? Who saved me? How did I come here?" He asked a barrage of questions after waking up.
"Senior saved you," Maria responded while pointing at Aakesh. The man followed her eyes and saw a blue-skinned man standing senior.
"Thank you for saving me, senior," He thanked Aakesh with a slight bow.
"Hmph!" A scoff suddenly echoed in the store. The man was stunned and looked here and there to see who was the owner of the sound, but he didn't find anyone.
"Your bill would be 75 inferior Primal stones, and your bill would be 150 inferior Primal stones," Aakesh ignored the thanks and instead asked for the payment from the man and Maria, respectively.
"What!" The man exclaimed in shock, hearing the amount he had to pay, but Maria took out the exact 150 Primal stones from her space ring and handed it over to Aakesh.
"But, How-"
"Pay the bill!" The man wanted to speak, but Maria cut her off in between and coldly ordered. The man didn't wait and took out 75 Primal stones and begrudgingly handed them to Aakesh.
Aakesh didn't care for the man's reaction and waved his hands, and the next moment, the Primal stones disappeared from the store.
"Senior! I will be waiting for you in my restaurant," Maria smilingly said to Aakesh and left the store. The man followed behind her.
"System, quest screen!" Right after the group left, Aakesh called of the quest screen.

"Finally, the quest screen has some changes," He expressionlessly commented after seeing the screen.
