A few hours later, Camila, Mia, Lizzy, and Damian were seated around the dinner table. It was already 6 pm, and the warm aroma of freshly cooked food filled the small dining area. Plates of steaming food sat before them as everyone quietly dug in.
"So, Damian, how is college?" Camila asked, her eyes glinting softly as she watched the dragon hungrily devour his meal.
"Fun, dangerous, and interesting," Max replied with a slight shrug between mouthfuls.

Max just dropped his spoon, took a sip of his water and stared at the women staring at him waiting for an answer.

"Well, remember Lizzy was cornered in an alleyway by some men where I saved her?" He asked and Camila along with Lizzy nodded. "So it turns out those men are part of the Gray Bulls Gang.
They reported back to base and got a few men to ambush me back at the slums where I obviously beat the shit out of them, and now, they are all pissed hence the bounty. Which Iโm just hearing of today."
"Ohh! That truly is troublesome." Mia mumbled as she rubbed her temples. "Not to add to your worries, but Iโm sure Carl would also be looking for you too."

"So how are you going to handle this gang? I hear that although they are a tier 3 gang, they are still dangerous." Camila asked with a concerned look on her face.
"I will just find a way. That is why Iโm crashing here as I canโt head back to the slums." Max shrugged as he took the last bite of his food and so did Lizzy.
"Come on Damian, letโs go do the dishes together." Lizzy warmly said and Max just shrugged as he grabbed his plates and followed Lizzy into the kitchen.
"Camila, arenโt you worried that your daughter is getting increasingly close to our man?" Mia asked with a frown on her face.
"Why? Sheโs my daughter, and thereโs love in sharing." Camila replied with a sly smirk on her face.
Meanwhile, Damian and Lizzy just walked into the kitchen and the moment Max walked in, the young lady hurriedly shut the door.
"Huh?" Max muttered as he watched her walk towards him, collect the plates from his hand and dropped it off in the sink before steadily catwalking towards him.
"Arenโt we doing the dishes anymore?" He asked.
"Of course we will, later. But first, I need to brush." Lizzy replied with a smirk on her face as she walked towards Max who was slowly backing away until his back hit the door.
"Brush? Why would you need to brush before you do the dishes?" He asked with a raised brow.
