'That was just too close for comfort.' Dustin said in his mind as he rode on the back of a dragon, the same one that attacked him and his wyvern prior. AT this time, he had succeeded in escaping the otherworldly dragon that could blow him away with a sneeze and was now heading out of the Volcanic region with the hope that he doesn't get chased or followed.

In the end, Dustin managed to escape cleanly, and there was not any chase after the dragon that spear headed itself into him. This Wyvern did die in the process, as he was unable to take it back in time for it to avoid the dragon, and it died instantly. It just showed how much more powerful the dragons were compared to the wyverns in raw strength. 𝗳𝒓𝚎e𝚠𝒆𝐛𝐧𝐨v𝚎Ɩ.co𝓶

[A/N: There won't be much going on throughout this time period, so instead of just going about a dull process of how he systematically did this and did that, I'll just summarize everything real quick, maybe in one chapter or more.]

After Dustin escaped from the Volcanic region, he went straight back to the town to meet with the messenger. He originally planned to go to other places he had marked on his radar, especially the one that was close by, but he had a change of plans after that encounter.

He planned to tell the messenger about his experience. Of course, he did think about it for a brief moment and thought not to let the information to the messenger, but then he thought about it and concluded that the messenger would eventually know regardless of whether he said anything or not, and telling him would just help the relationship, if there will be one. The way he saw the messenger in their first meeting, it sure looked like something that will be a bit reoccurring. 𝑓𝒓𝚎e𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯𝘰𝐯𝒆𝑙.c𝚘m

Dustin, while riding the dragon's back returned to the town and of course, just unsummoned the dragon before he got too close to the town and legged the remaining distance, which was not at all far.

When he got back in town he immediately went home as his was quite the distance away from the main settlements, and to his surprise, the messenger was there in his home when he opened the door, like he was waiting for him.

They ended up talking for about ten to twenty minutes, and Dustin did not hide his experience and told the messenger about the dragon he saw. Fortunately, he had made a good choice to tell the messenger, as the messenger himself already knew of the news.

Why else would he be the overseer of this realm if he couldn't notice such an existence in the room?

Dustin was encouraged to check his ranking in the realm, though the messenger refused to say the real importance of the ranking, Dustin really didn't care for it. It didn't display info or even the picture of who had the names on the list, so in a way those with the names were anonymous, unless of course, the person was known prior. In Dustin's case, he couldn't care more as he could bet that very little people knew of him, not to mention, he was not even in the top hundreds in the rankings at the moment.

The meeting with the messenger ended after a brief sit down, and Dustin was off to his next location after resting in the town for a day.

'Of course he would already know about the incident. It took me more than twice the time to get here than it took to get there.' Dustin said in his mind.

Unlike the wyvern, the dragon was way slower, more than Dustin would hope for. It was very evident that the father dragon he saw at the bottom of that gorge let him escape, something he had began reading some meaning into.

Dustin didn't go to the town's hall, as he now knew that the wyvern belonged to them, and he didn't want to answer any questions about its where about. He just stayed for a day and the next he left the town once again.

Though, even though he didn't enter the village, there was someone who could feel his presence in the surroundings of the village, and knew he was around. That is for a later date.

Just like he originally planned, he headed to the Land of The Evil, a place that was easily one of the feared regions in Na'ash currently.

The way it was set up now, the places where something similar to video games where there were dungeons and regions to be cleared. Clearly, the regions were way harder for people to clear, not even guilds. The easier and smaller ones had been taken care of, but the more challenging ones, even the guilds stayed shy of them them.

It took some time since Dustin was riding on the dragon, but he finally got there. There was no particular entrance to the place, as you'd have to get to the centre of the region either way. Dustin came there to gain exp, so he dropped down at the beginning just as he entered the place.

There was no time to be going on adventures, so Dustin immediately used his skill and got all the monsters and beasts to come to him. The ones he could control, he did. From that, he noticed there were a few A rank ones that he couldn't control, and those just broke off his control, but he could still sense them and they seemed not to be bothered about it, so Dustin paid less attention to them while he mowed the ones he had brought himself.

While killing the monsters, he kept an eye out for any monster that looked like something he would want in his arsenal, and every once in a while, he would tame a monster or a beast instead of killing it. With the constitution and stamina, Dustin lasted quite a bit without needing to go on a break, but he was really seeing the need for him to get a new skill, as it would have been way easier. Plus, he had a lot of MP than normal people, but because he didn't quite have an offensive skill, he couldn't fully utilize it.

'Let's just keep this up for now. I'll think of that later.' Dustin said in his mind, as he thought of whether the messenger would have one for him.
