Several entrenched areas besieged by enemies were reinforced as countless demon heads of all sizes were slain. Such rampant behavior naturally caught the attention of the high-class Heavenly Demons.
Outside a certain immortal sect stronghold, the Ghost Bride, pursued and attacked by an expectant Class IV demon head, had its Soul Body shattered. The Demon Slaying Sword, under the powerful onslaught of the demon, was almost captured! Luckily, the Heavenly Demon that attacked had not yet stepped into Class IV; its power was slightly lacking. Under the fierce assault of the Demon Slaying Sword, the demon’s Imprisonment magic was destroyed, half of its palm was severed, and the sword successfully escaped.
This attack from the expectant Class IV demon head incited the murderous intent of several cultivators who were half a step to the Golden Core Realm. Before it had time to seize this stronghold, four such cultivators, including Sunrise Peak Master Tang Lv of the Riverside Sect, had already surrounded it, intending to eliminate it once and for all! The higher-ranking beings amongst the Foreign Realm Demons would naturally not allow human powerhouses to slaughter their demonic offspring on a large scale; this reaction was expected. If Shen Mo were to go personally, he would have likely faced several assassination attempts by now, leaving him heavily injured if not dead!

After lingering on Fish Head Ridge, Shen Mo bid farewell to the Black Fish Gang Sect Master. Along with Ming Yu, they used the Teleportation Array at the core of the mountain gate to go to Dingbo City, and then used the Teleportation Array inside Dingbo City to transport themselves back outside the Purple Heaven Palace of the Riverside Sect!
It wasn’t that Shen Mo liked to go roundabout, but there were differences in Teleportation Arrays. The Teleportation Arrays within the strongholds all over Sea State were all secondary Teleportation Altars. They could connect with each other without hindrance but could only teleport within Sea State. In contrast, large cities like Dingbo City had higher-grade Teleportation Arrays set up, which could transport directly back to the Riverside Sect! Given this disparity, the spiritual materials used to build the magic altars naturally differed immensely. Moreover, the amount of Spirit Stones required for each teleportation using a secondary Teleportation Array was far less than the latter! With Dingbo City as a relay, this transport system could save a lot of material resources and still perform its intended role. There was one crucial point: Dingbo City must not fall to the Demon Tide. Therefore, several Golden Core Realm patriarchs in the cultivation world of Red Flame Country were stationed in Dingbo City.

The absent one was the patriarch stationed in Dingbo City, who was currently engaged in a Magic Duel with a Class IV Big Heavenly Demon. Then there were Sect Master Yuan Qingshi, the three Peak Masters, and the Hall Masters. Even if their real bodies were elsewhere, their figures and voices were projected through the Water light mirror magic artifact. Only the seat of Immortal Welcoming Hall Master Yuan Chengshan, whom Shen Mo and Jiang Lingfeng had confirmed fallen, was empty.
The rest were all core disciples. Besides Shen Mo, the third-ranked core disciple, the top-ranked core disciple Yang Xuan, fourth-ranked Yu Yan, fifth-ranked Ji Susu, seventh-ranked Guo Xun, eighth-ranked Zhou Ru, and ninth-ranked Chu Yuhua were all present. Only the second-ranked Jiang Lingfeng and sixth-ranked Tang Guangsi were missing!
