The First Cultivator - Changing Existence-Chapter 857: Ye Li Takes Action -

"Now, I’m not suggesting anything, but understand that he will die, and his righteousness and desire to help others, especially humans, will die with him. If you are willing to let that happen, then by all means, forget that I came here." Zhou Fan said.

He left without giving Yhwh a chance to respond.

He appeared back where he always stayed, looking down at the Universe, though he kept the sun out of his vision. It wasn’t because he cared about the Champion of the Sun gaining more power, but because the Champion of the Sun was able to spot him whenever he did so, just like the hidden being was able to spot him when he looked at it.

The two were clearly opposites of each other. Zhou Fan didn’t know if it was chance, or if the Universe found it interesting to do such a thing.

He usually wouldn’t have intervened, but if there was one thing he didn’t like, it was wasted talent.

If Ye Li had just been sitting around wallowing in his own misery, Zhou Fan would have done the same exact thing.

But people on the evil side of things were far less likely to give up. Even if Ye Li had been the one defeated, he would have continued striving as long as he was alive.

Yhwh, who actually cared about other beings and his emotions, was much more likely to give up after everything that happened.

Zhou Fan watched on, and everything that proceeded wasn’t all that surprising to him.

Yhwh began to amass strength. With how long he had been out of commission, few people even kept tabs on him. Zhou Fan could sense that Ye Li still did, but it was minor. Zhou Fan had easily circumvented it, and Yhwh was able to with a fair amount of effort.

Many Sage Years passed. Nothing immediately changed, but Zhou Fan was looking forward to what would happen eventually. It was the reparking of an old rivalry. One that had previously shaken the entire Universe.

More Sage Years passed, time passing as always. Zhou Fan cultivated, though he did not use a Time Bubble for the time being. There was really no meaning to it, as nobody could keep up with him anyways.

This way, he could at least wait for interesting events to occur.

In his meantime, he began to think about how he could solve his problem of creating a Universe.

Trying to replicate the sources was impossible, but creating some way to locate the Universe he created was possible, just difficult. First, he would need something that could indefinitely last within the nothingness. That alone was difficult. Luckily, if it was small, it was possible. He would just have to connect it to himself in some way.

Many Sage Years passed as Zhou Fan thought and the Universe progressed. The Champion of the Sun grew faster and faster. He was now at the Peak of the Earth Immortal realm, and there were few beings in the Universe that could not see the sun.

Even other Earth Immortals were helpless to stop it.

Only Heaven Immortals could prevent it from reaching certain locations, but none of them did. They all benefitted from the Champion of the Sun growing in one way or another.

But in farmer terms, this pig was now as fat as it would get without being dangerous.

He appeared in front of the Champion of the Sun.

The Champion of the Sun, as if expecting this, reacted instantly. He pushed out with his hand, tiny suns surrounding his wrist like a bracelet.

They created an amount of power an Earth Immortal should not be able to create. But as a Karma Spiral appeared, they quickly broke down.

The Champion of the Sun retreated, his giant sun exploding into a supernova as he ran. It stopped Ye Li for a few seconds. The sun had been formed over countless Sage Years, and represented the Peak power of the Champion of the Sun.

Injuries formed on Ye Li’s body, but they quickly healed as he gave chase. A sun which had illuminated the Universe for countless years, had suddenly exploded, and the explosion soon disappeared.

Every being in the Universe was notified of what was going on. Most didn’t react, hesitant to get involved in the slightest with something regarding Ye Li.

But one being appeared in front of Ye Li as he chased after the Champion of the Sun.

Her name was the Grand Empyrean.

With an explosion of black and gold, Ye Li was forced to a halt.

The Champion of the Sun stopped running. Seeing the Grand Empyrean, he heaved a sigh of relief. "I was worrying you would be late."

"I made a promise, and I intend to fulfill it." The Grand Empyrean said.

Ye Li stood with his hands behind his back, Karma Spirals moving spiraling around him.

"There is no need for you to interfere. This is the natural cycle of the Universe. If you get involved, it will only end in your death." Ye Li said.

"I am well aware that fighting you would mean dying, but fighting me would not allow you to come out unscathed. How many others would jump at the opportunity to kill you?"

Ye Li smiled, an obviously fake smile. "I knew you were crazy, but it seemed I had underestimated you. Nonetheless, I happen to want this more than you believe."

He turned and looked into the void. "It is time to repay that favor."

The Grand Empyrean turned to the side as another figure appeared.

The God of Death.

Her eyes narrowed.

"I was beginning to think you had forgotten. Too bad." The God of Death said.

He then turned to the Grand Empyrean. "What say you?"

"Fight." She said, not wasting any more words. She had understood from the moment that the God of Death appeared that this was no longer a situation to be resolved in words.

A lotus bloomed underneath her feet. Like a tree in spring giving off its seeds, countless small lotuses floated in the air.
