Chapter 2363: Chapter 2363: Haven’t Killed for So Long, You’ve All Forgotten Me!

"Senior..."

Carson Flores signaled the three women to step back with his eyes. The elder’s displayed strength was too powerful and strange, making it difficult to distinguish friend from foe. Caution was necessary.

The elder calmly said, "If there’s anything else delicious, make it all. Do it well, and I’ll spare your lives."

Carson felt a chill in his heart; it seemed this person had come with ill intentions.

If he didn’t cook, would the elder be prepared to kill him?

Carson bowed and said, "Then please wait for a moment, Senior... You all, come help."

The three women took the opportunity to move away from the table and went to the makeshift kitchen.

The elder gave off an eerie feeling, and judging by his tone, he hadn’t been invited and yet was threatening their lives. He probably wasn’t a good person.

Carson did not attempt to escape because the opponent seemed too powerful.

The four of them were at the Great Land level, with even Lilianna Norman at the level of the Realm of the Mystic Elephant, yet none of them noticed how he appeared. He seemed to materialize at the table like a ghost.

They didn’t even feel a ripple of spiritual energy when he suddenly appeared.

Suppressing his shock, Carson once again took out some ingredients and started cooking.

The three women assisted him while discussing how to deal with the situation through Divine Sense communication.

"This person is so strong!"

"Since he hasn’t attacked, we shouldn’t either. Let’s cook first; maybe once he’s satisfied, he’ll leave?"

"Don’t act rashly."

The elder picked up a few bites and then turned with an emotionless expression, asking, "Good food deserves good wine, where’s the wine?"

Carson took out a jar of fine wine brewed with Immortal Elixir, cautiously placing it on the table for the elder. He also set a wine cup and poured a bowl for him personally.

The elder took a sip from the cup, smacked his lips, and said, "The taste is mediocre, barely passable. Hurry up and get back to cooking."

Carson promptly returned to the makeshift kitchen to cook, while the elder continued eating and drinking with gusto.

Dish after dish was served, and the elder’s chopsticks never stopped. His appetite seemed endless, devouring so much without showing any sign of fullness.

Finally, after Carson served a large platter of at least fifty pounds of roasted meat, the elder swept through it like a whirlwind and only then downed the remaining wine and put down his chopsticks.

Carson’s heart tightened. He cupped his hands and asked, "Senior, are you finished eating?"

The elder’s face remained emotionless, almost frozen, showing no sign of joy, anger, sadness, or pleasure: "I’ve eaten to about seventy percent full, that’s enough. Seniors shouldn’t eat too much; it can be taxing."

After a pause, the elder’s gaze swept over Selah Ellison and the other two women’s faces and said blandly, "In light of your cooking skills, I’ll spare your life. However, one woman must come with me, the others can live."

Carson calmly asked, "Senior, what do you mean by ’come with you’?"

The elder answered indifferently, "Naturally, to serve me, what else? You’ve got plenty of women anyway; losing one shouldn’t be an issue."

Carson’s expression turned cold, "Aren’t you being too excessive?"

The elder snorted coldly, "Excessive? If I were my old self, you’d be dead by now, and the women would be begging at my feet. Now I’m in a good mood, just asking for one woman, you should be grateful. Of course, you can refuse, but that just means killing a few more people."

Carson was not intimidated by his words. He asked in a deep voice, "Who are you, and why don’t you give your name?"

The elder calmly replied, "I’ve long forgotten my own name, but they usually call me by my title, Ghost True Sage..."

Ghost True Sage?

Never heard of him!

Seeing Carson and the others’ bewildered faces, evidently not knowing who he was, the elder’s previously emotionless eyes now showed a hint of anger and shame.

He was the infamous Ghost True Sage of the North Sea, a terrifying entity who could make children stop crying, yet these people had no reaction at all!

"It seems in these recent years, I’ve been too focused on self-cultivation, rarely killing, and people have forgotten me. In that case, I suppose it’s time to refresh everyone’s memory?"

Upon hearing this, Carson quickly explained, "We’re not from the North Sea, nor even from the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain, so we didn’t respond to your title."

Ghost True Sage quietly raised his right hand, curled his middle finger, and coldly said, "You can die now."

With the Ghost True Sage’s word, a gleaming point darted from his fingers, like a star in the Star River, hurtling toward Carson’s head.

Ghost True Sage’s moods were capricious, attacking was abrupt. Fortunately, Carson had remained cautious, and the moment Ghost True Sage made his move, Carson reacted.

With a thought, the Ethereal Pagoda burst forth from his Sea of Consciousness.

As soon as the Ethereal Pagoda appeared, the golden barrier of light instantly radiated out, enveloping Carson within the light.

The starlight arrived in an instant, crashing into the golden barrier, shattering it, and furiously continuing to strike the Ethereal Pagoda that followed.
