The Extra's Survival-Chapter 171: Guidance
Lucas stretched his back after waking up from a nice and peaceful sleep.
The match was quite nerve-wracking. Fighting after implicating several handicaps mainly relying on techniques without the use of skill was hard.
But the pain was worth it and he doesn't even know whether using his skills he would be able to defeat Roman easily.
His strength was on another level. He can exert strength beyond his realm.
"Without the stat points and my breakthrough, I would surely be in a difficult position," Lucas muttered.
Still, it wasn't as helpless as it seems to cause in his last strike, Lucas held back a little.
Lucas opened the status window.

====================
Seeing the status window, he nodded in satisfaction.
Even though he was at the middle stage of 3-Star, most of his stat was at peak stage.
Though it wasn't that amazing as Roman can increase strength and speed by a minor realm due to his bloodline.
"I think, I should look for Sir Harris. I need to figure out the phantom reversal technique. I seriously need guidance about the technique or I am gonna mess badly if I train on my own." Lucas muttered.
During the match, he remembered that he almost broke himself while using it and dodging Roman attacks.
The inhumane reflex and flexibility were quite hard. Without good flexibility, one can't stretch his body to avoid the blows.
He remembered pulling his muscles beyond the limit still it was quite wonderful.
One doesn't need to attack and can use it to duck and dodge the attacks giving him an edge in the battle meanwhile saving some stamina and strength.
...
In the President's office room.
Julian picked up the document and after skimming through it, put it down and took the next document.
CLANK!
While she was busy, the door opened and Ami walked toward her and greeted her.
"How is it going, your Highness...Julian." Ami asked sticking out her tongue a little.
Juliana raised her burrows and sighed.
"Nothing, just busy with this pile of paper. Due to the tournament, the budget of Clubs seemed to be in mess."
"Ohh!"
"Do you need any help?" Ami asked as he looked at Julian tried to look.
"No, I can manage it for now."
"Moreover, Lucas had sorted out many documents and finished. He is quite efficient in it. Without his help, only god knows how much time it would take to finish it." Julian spoke with a stoic expression.
"I don't understand. If you are talking about this kind of work, don't you already have a good number of people to finish it." Ami asked questioning her gaze.
"It's not that. His different way of thinking and the way he solves problems make the work look easier." Julian said.
"How."
"Hmmm..." Julian thought by putting her finger on her cheek while she laid down her body on the chair.
"Before the tournament, we were having a problem with the shops. Due to the recent happening and bombing incidents, the number of sellers and shops who had applied to set up stalls had a decrease in number which had put us in quite a loss."
"So, Lucas suggested using the Non-Hero Combat students to set up their shop. Since it was sold to normal customers, they don't need to work so hard and produce high-quality products. Moreover, they can even earn quite a good sum of money." Julian spoke.
"Yeah, now that I think about it, I was quite surprised to see them selling things that they had made and wondered what the non-combat student was doing there. We had never thought about it." Ami spoke and further added, "The Non-Hero course students are rough gems who support us from the shadows still most of the time they are left behind are neglected."
"Take the example of an alchemist who worked hard to produce potions, without them making potions, I can't imagine how dire our situation would be," Ami spoke with a hint of appreciation.
"Every year the competition for the Non-Hero course will be held at the end after the fights and people would generally bore seeing them competing by making things."
"It's nothing compared to the other proposal which he suggested, "Julian spoke with a hint of appreciation.
Ami squinted her eye to see Julian's expression, although there was no minute change in her facial expression Ami could feel a hint of admiration for Lucas from her voice.
"What did he do? I am never seen you speaking good of anyone." Ami asked curiously.
Julian blinked a couple of times and looked at Ami with a surprised expression as if asking what was she talking about.
"What do you mean? I always appreciate talented people." Julian spoke.
"I don't remember you speaking good of anyone. Most of the time you are holed up in the training. In your free time, you would busy yourself with reading books or taking a look at other things and lending a hand in the Kingdom's work. If you are not busy in this situation then you will be in bed suffering from the chill." Ami spoke as he smiled bitterly.
"So, you see this is the first time, I have seen you talking freely about others. By the way, I remembered something."
"How, is that thing going on with Lucas," Ami asked in an excited voice.
"What thing?" Julian asked raising her brows.
"I am talking about treatment. You know where Lucas holds you and channelizes the mana." Ami asked in a soft voice.
It took some time for Julian to understand what Ami was talking about but as she got it, her face flushed and her ears became little red.
Ami swallowed her saliva as she saw Julian's expression and wondered whether it was the same ice-cold princess who can freeze anyone with her gaze or someone else.
She is blushing. Ami didn't know whether it was a subconscious action on remembering about the thing or she felt shy but the Julian she knew would never behave like this.
Julian thought about how Lucas treated her. With Lucas's help and his treatment, she was feeling much better and much warmer and thinking about it she blurted out.
"It's going well." She muttered in a soft tone which didn't go unnoticed in the ears of 8-Star like Ami who shouted on hearing her words"What!"
"I said, I am doing well," Julian spoke emphasising each word loudly while glaring at Ami.
Ami laughed bitterly seeing Julian's new side which looked so cute that he wanted to tease her more and record it on her phone but that she knew would be too much.
"Have you seen Lucas's last match," Ami asked.
Julian nodded"Yeah!"
"What did you think?" Ami asked.
"He is taking things too lightly," Juliana asked.
"He had underestimated his enemy too much and didn't use his full strength. Moreover, it was that weird technique that saved him at the last moment. I remembered seeing that technique but I can't recall that." Ami spoke rubbing her chin as she tried to recall where have seen that weird movement.
"That technique is a problem," Julian spoke nonchalantly.
"Yeah, I know. He is not ready for it." Ami spoke.
"No that's not it. It's going to drag him down. His weakness will be exposed." Julian spoke with a worried tone.
"What do you mean?" Ami spoke.
"I am talking about his movements."
"Lucas mainly relied on the power moves to finish the opponent quickly. His footwork is a little mess when compared to his swordsman. Much of the time, he attacks by standing still. His transfer of weight is also not good."
Ami's eyes widened as she thought about it"I think I should make him aware of it."
"No, wait Miss Ami. Let's wait till the end of the tournament. Lucas needs to learn his weakness."
"And as far I know him, I think he would have already got a feeling about what he is lacking. He always had a weird sixth sense that can warn him about the wrong happening which is his biggest trump card."
"You seem to know him quite well," Ami asked.
"Yeah, you can say so," Julian muttered but as she realized her words, she glared at Ami and spoke.
" Miss Ami recently you have been quite daring."
