Chapter 1929: Distortion of Time

As strange as it sounded, Yaggdytha needed time to spread his control over the fabric of time. It was just how a king needs space to rule a kingdom. You can’t own space without land, and so he couldn’t dominate time without an extension of it.

But his elemental expansion, a skill that he had learned in the past thousand years, allowed him to bypass that restriction and instantly establish his domain as long as he got enough energy to do it. Time and space were intertwined like fabric; if you pull on one, the other also gets dragged. So when he established his elemental expansion, time stopped flowing for everyone, space itself became a prison, and both Arad and Gojo found themselves stuck in their place.

To go from point A to B, you need time. Just as it worked for walking, it worked for blood, nervous signals, and even thoughts. The brothers’ bodies, from the brain to cells, all halted working, frozen in time and unable to shift a single atom without the abomination’s consent in his expansion.

"This world is mine, and unlike your feeble spells, my time manipulation controls the very world!" The abomination floated toward them and took a closer look at Gojo and Arad’s faces. "Brothers and void dragons to boot, but not even wyrms. How strange. You two hold more power than most."

As he flexed his muscles, he clenched a fist and swung at Gojo’s chest, blowing a hole in his torso. "Hmm... no organs inside, you have them all stored inside your stomach, how smart." He immediately swung at Gojo’s neck and ripped his head off with ease, then threw it away.

The head floated in the lightless darkness and then froze. The abomination smirked as he now approached Arad. "The older and stronger one is dead, now you. To think someone like you managed to stay in a world instead of getting drafted into the war."

He lifted his fist, and was now about to swing, but then stopped.

"WHAT!" He cried and flew a fair distance back, glaring at Arad with a sweaty and terrified face. "You! You bastard, what’s the meaning of this?"

Arad’s eyes have moved, and he glared right back at him. Those burning purple eyes were furiously glaring at the abomination’s very soul like the eyes of a hungry predator.

"This is my time! My domain! You don’t have the right to exist in it!" The abomination shouted, pointing at Arad with a raging face. "That elder time drakaina is far too injured to help you, and this place blocks all of Qliphoth’s influence! By what right are you looking at me?"

"By the right of his balls, bugger." Aether appeared sitting on the abomination’s back.

The abomination instead spun around and swung at Aether, only for his fist to pass right through him without doing any damage. "Too bad, I’m just a soul." Aether took a deep whiff of his cigar and blew it at the abomination’s face.

CRACK! At that moment, Arad’s fist crashed into the back of the abomination’s head, and was then followed by a violent barrage of hits, tens of them in a fraction of a second. The abomination reeled back and quickly tightened his grip on the expansion to freeze Arad again.

Yaggdytha’s face twisted in pain as the entire back of his head was torn and crushed to pieces, forcing him to lean forward and growl in agony. "You monster! What was that? How could you move in my expansion, and who is that bastard?"

Aether floated behind the abomination and looked at both the horror and his frozen father with a smile. "Who are you calling a bastard? Are you accusing my father of cheating? Well, I know he won’t do it, but he has many women around him, I give you that."

The abomination smiled this time. "I won’t fall for it again, weakling ghost. You can only free this monster for a few moments at best. You’re trying to make me turn my back on him again so he can attack."

Aether smiled. "No, no, no. It’s nothing like that." He flicked his cigar with a grin. "It’s so he can fuck your brain out." As he mocked the abomination, the horror kept his eyes locked on Arad, trying to predict when he would break free again. Thanks to that, he didn’t notice Linda who crept at him from the back.

It wasn’t Aether who freed Arad, but her. Aether was just here to distract and mess with the abomination, to create an opening for his father and mother to strike. And then, as silently as shadows, she clenched a fist and punched a hole in the abomination’s chest, ripping his heart out.

He puked black blood, and before he could even look back at who attacked him, the elemental expansion had shattered, and the brothers jumped at him again. Arad crushed the abomination’s head between his massive palms, causing the horrid brain’s mush to seep out of his fingers like pus, and Gojo, who took a second to regenerate, sealed the terror in a nine-layered seal to prevent him from casting the elemental expansion again.

The now headless and heartless Yaggdytha flinched for a moment. He wasn’t dead, and wasn’t even unconscious yet. Destroying his head wasn’t even worth being called a fatal wound to him. A roaring voice boomed from his stomach, and his massive arm swung backward toward Linda. "First, you go down! Drakaina!"

Linda tried to pull her arm from the abomination’s chest, but she was stuck. His muscles were gripping her forearm like a vice, and she was about to get smacked before Arad could do anything. But then, a thin, pale hand with purple-painted nails emerged from her shadow, and easily grabbed the abomination’s massive and thick arm.

Aether, who floated above them, glared at the abomination with a smile. "Grandma is busy with grandpa, and even stepmom Kali is too far away to come here in time." He floated down and looked right at the abomination’s chest. "And, I’ll throat a cactus before I ask Amaterasu for help, so? Who else could I find?"

The abomination’s arm crunched in the grasp of the thin and pale hand, his bones shattered, and his muscles tore. As the owner of the hand slowly emerged from the shadows, the arm of a maid’s uniform showed first, and then her radiant purplish-pink eyes emerged.

"Father and Uncle had made a deal before, and I’ll be stupid not to use it. Say hello to Death Fucking Herself!" He spat on the abomination as Death herself emerged from Linda’s shadow, and tore the abomination away from everyone.

The bastard tried to escape from her grasp, but the endless darkness of her shadows violently swallowed him whole, and his screams quickly faded into nothing.

Due to Arad and Gojo’s deal with Yog and Entropy to kill abominations and feed them to the cycle of death and life to supplement the energy they robbed from the universe, now Death would come to snatch any abominations they manage to bring close enough to their death, before even Nyar could save them. Aether didn’t miss that key point, and so he used it to finish the fight before it could get any worse.

Aether floated to where Yaggdytha was last, and snarled. "See you never, bugface."

Linda took a deep breath in the back and then threw a sharp glare at Aether. "How many times have I told you to fix that speech of yours? Can’t you say anything decent?"

Aether looked at her with a smile. "Don’t be harsh, mom. Did I lie? Everything I said was true, word by word."
