Chapter 1418: A Crash of Ice fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com

Arad fell from the sky and landed on his feet, shattering the ground and throwing a mountain of snow into the air. His eyes burned purple as he stood, glaring straight at the dragon and his army.

"Choose, come and die, or flee and live."

The white dragon roared an order to all of the trolls, commanding them to bring him Arad’s head.

With the dragon’s words, all of the trolls charged forward like a massive pack of wolves. The biggest one was over ten meters tall, and the smallest were tiny goblins that couldn’t even reach a meter in height.

Ugly, poor, and vile beings. They’ve tasted the flesh of the innocent and now can’t get enough of it. Arad could hear their thoughts, feel their hunger, and he was glad that his Kobolds and beavers were more civilised than those monsters.

As the trolls reached Arad, he clapped his hands and caused a shockwave powerful enough to push them all away. "I see, all of you followed the dragon’s order. Very well, none of you shall leave this place alive."

Arad rared, and the whole area got locked with a veil of void and gravity magic, making it impossible for the trolls to run away into the ravines or mountains, and it also prevented the white dragon from flying away or digging down to escape.

The trolls rolled on the snow from the impact. Some cried, and some died, their organs painting the snow in gory red viscera. As they tried to stand back up in the snow, pushing down on their splintered bones, they saw Arad taking his shirt off.

The muscles on Arad’s body rippled as he lifted his hand, "Ah, my wife. I know you didn’t wish for it to be used like this, but we should test it, don’t you think so?"

The white dragon wasn’t going to let Arad do whatever he was trying to do. He opened his jaw wide open and unleashed a deadly blast of cold magic, a torrent of violent freezing wind that killed anything that it touched.

The wind split apart as the radiant staff emerged in Arad’s hand. A barrier formed around Arad and flew forward like a sword, cutting everything in its path and barely missing the white dragon because he dodged the moment his breath failed to kill Arad.

"As expected from a dragon, you’ve got good instincts. Too bad they didn’t work earlier." Arad spun the staff and hit the ground with it, causing a shockwave that washed all the snow from around him.

The trolls rushed at him from all directions, bearing their fangs, ice swords, and claws. Arad grabbed one by the head and smacked another to the ground with the staff while using the troll he grabbed as a club to kill more of the furry monsters.

It didn’t matter what the trolls did; all of Arad’s attacks were a death sentence, getting hit even once caused them to explode like water balloons.

The white dragon understood that Arad still had much more power to spare. He could sense the magic flowing around, that was a wizard’s staff, but all Arad did after that barrier slash was use it as a bludgeoning weapon to crack skulls open.

He can’t win this fight; his only chance is to tire Arad out and run away when the seal falls apart.

The white dragon ran circles around Arad, conjuring massive ice spears and boulders, throwing them at Arad whenever he sensed an opening. Many trolls died, but the white dragon tried to get the best use out of them.

Normally, he only saw the monsters as pawns that he could breed for more. But now, he doesn’t have time to let them multiply, even if they are fast at it. Their numbers in this fight are limited, so he must use them wisely.

From what the dragon observed, Arad can one-tap any troll, unless his hit only hits their arms or legs, at which point that limb is gone. Now, the question is, what would happen if he got hit? Would the white dragon’s hard scales withstand the force of Arad’s strikes?

The answer was simple: he could. For one logical reason, he was a massive white dragon; he was heavier. Arad might generate enough force, but he wouldn’t have the leverage to back it up.

The white dragon could already imagine it. Taking Arad’s hit would hurt, but Arad would be the one getting flung back. That would create a wide enough opening to counter.

The dragon charged forward and swung his claw from behind the trolls, aiming to smack Arad directly on the back. The goal was simple: force Arad to turn rapidly while taking a hit, which would stress his spine a lot and might cause damage even if the attack got blocked.

The claw moved too fast for any of the trolls to notice, but Arad had already expected and was waiting for that attack. He was a dragon as well, and would’ve done the same.

As he turned, Arad swung the staff and smacked the dragon’s claw, shattering it and sending the dragon’s arm back, shocking the massive creature and causing him to lose his balance. Despite how small Arad looked, he was probably several times heavier than the white dragon, so the one getting pushed back in the clash will be the white dragon.

As the confused dragon fell to the ground, his massive head landed right in front of Arad, who took the chance with a smile.

Arad reached forward, grabbed the dragon by one of his fangs, and held so tightly that the fang almost cracked between his fingers. He then swung the staff as hard as he could, smacking the dragon on the nose so hard that he cracked his skull and sent him flying back, ripping the fang away.

Arad looked at the fang with a smile. "I would’ve said that this is something useful." He then flung the fang back at the dragon, putting a hole in the dragon’s shoulder. "But I’ve got better ones."

The dragon spat blood and recoiled back, barely managing to stand after the shock his brain received from getting his nose smashed into his skull. He had never seen someone that powerful, and something was odd about Arad from the start. How did he jump from the mountain and survive?

"Who are you? No, what are you?"

Arad looked at the dragon with a passive face, then smiled, "Me? The husband of the queen who lives over there."

Arad’s eyes flashed purple.
