The dragon's harem-Chapter 1064: The Essence of Faith
The oven looked up, his fiery eyes expanding as he saw them, ten massive dragons, each carrying a church as they soared through the roaring sky.
The dragons dropped the church down between Arad and the oven’s army and from them, countless waves of vampire nuns flew out, all armed to the teeth, their eyes burning with a never-ending bloodlust.
"My lord." Zia approached Arad and knelt down, "Even with the ten vampire dragons, we’re still outnumbered and those are powerful demons."
A single vampire nun was nowhere near as powerful as any of the demons in the oven’s army. The situation didn’t look that good, but luckily this wasn’t all that Arad could do.
"Don’t worry, I’ve still got more." Arad waved his hand and a large pirate ship, carried by a giant Kraken emerged from his blood, followed by a flying megalodon and another fifty vampire dragons. The harvest he got in Yog’s world wasn’t small, and with all of those terrifying monsters, even the demon army started thinking that retreating might be wise.
"Kill them all, no need to chase those who run out of the layer." Arad said with a smile, his eyes burning red and all of the vampires charged forward, smashing into the demons like a raging wave.
One of the nuns rushed forward in her heavy black armor and with a large war flag behind her back, each step cracked the soft ground beneath her feet and splashed the acidic water and blood up. As those droplets hit her face and armor, they boiled, melting the skin and steel, smoking green.
Her sisters were at her right, at her left, and behind her back, all of them charging forward at the horrific demons before them. Large, grotesque horrors, a mass of flesh akin to a cockroach with double-jointed and hairy human legs, snail-like eyes, and a large twisted maw with a few extra rows of sharp teeth, dripping with burning acid.
The nun could hear her heart beating like drums, and her nose burned from the stench and acid, this place smelled like blood, filth, and acid all mixed together and left to rot beneath the burning sun for a week or two. She’d rather shove her face into the sewers and gargle that water than spend a second in this cesspit of demons.
But…for some reason she couldn’t help but smile, feeling a deep sense of thrill rushing up her spine. With open arms, she faced the demon before her, taking one heavy step, cracking the ground with burning red eyes.

"For The Lord!" She smacked the flag down, planting it firmly before the enemy.
As the flag flapped, the massive demons pointed their ugly and disgusting maws forward, breathing a deadly mist of acid.
The acid hit the nun, melting her armor and skin. She screamed in pain as her eyes fell from their sockets, but her hands remained firm, tightly gripping the banner. In seconds, the only thing keeping her guts from spilling out was what little remained from her armor.
"For…The Lord!" She yelled again and the banner flashed, strands of white light crackling from her hand up to its peak. She wasn’t alone, hundreds of flag-bearer nuns had charged to the frontlines and planted their banners. Once all had set the line, their power had combined, using their bodies and blood as a medium to pull power from Arad.
A ten-meter wide [Ho-white Nova] Emerged over the battlefield, washing the demons in a ray of nuclear radiation as it flashed like a welding stick.
The demons screamed, their bodies burning and melting away. All of those nuns had to concentrate so they could maintain the [Ho-white Nova]. While normal nuns pray and get holy spells from their gods, Arad’s nuns pray to him, and what they can get is his nuclear powers, summoning the might of their god to aid them in battle.
The nuns knew very well that Arad wasn’t a god, but even so…they only prayed to him.
The flag bearer nun’s damaged body started regenerating, muscles and veins emerged over her exposed bone as a cry of pain escaped her throat. Skin covered her body and new pieces of armor appeared to hide her pale skin. Her sole mission in this war is to stand her ground, endure everything, and keep the banner firmly planted at all costs.
From behind the flag bearer nuns a flood of nuns rushed forward, those ones carried large swords and tower shields, pushing beneath the magnificent light of their god, basking in his magnificent radiation.
"DEMONS! BEGONE!" One swung her sword, ripping a demon in half with a single attack. One charged her and she blocked him with her shield as two other nuns killed it. As the demons charged forward, the nun lifted her sword. "FOR MY LORD! I PRAY!" Her blade sparked with light, "UNLIMITED! POWER!"
Her sword crackled with pure white magic like lightning, flashing with light as she swung it down on the enemies of her god, ripping them to shred with a radioactive smite. The sword didn’t carry divine magic, but pure heat, light, and radiation from Arad’s nuclear [Ho-white Nova]
She wasn’t alone, all the nuns that charged forward with their weapons called forth on Arad’s power, ripping all the demons in their path with zeal, chanting the name of their god with each strike.
As one of the nuns charged a bit too deep, cutting her way open, one of the more powerful demons caught her, lifting her up. "Look at my eyes!" this massive humanoid demon had skin as red as blood, his eyes as black as night, and his voice as sweet and alluring as the divines.
He wasn’t the only one, but there were tens of demons like him, all of them had captured the nuns leading the charge. "Bow to my WILL!" He whispered into her face, his mouth steaming with fire and acid.
The nun could feel her veins bulging, her mind ripping apart as the demon’s claws dug into her skin…she pissed herself from the pain as the demon giggled, "Show me! Your deepest desire, and I shall give it to you! Submit!" His mind sank deeper into her soul, pulling into her slumbering mind.
The demon suddenly found himself inside a dark room, the nun was prostrating herself before Arad’s statue, praying and crying. He couldn’t hear what she was seeing, but this looked strange…He was looking for her deepest desire. Is this it?
At that moment, it moved the statue’s eyes. They glared at him with a burning darkness.
Outside, the nun had shoved her sword into the demon’s chest, crying blood out of her eyes, "BLOOD! FOR MY BLOOD LORD!" Her sword flashed with nuclear radiation, burning the demon into ash.
The nuns were breaking free from the demon’s mindboggling grasp one after another, all shouting their lord’s name, ripping through the demon’s flesh with their blades, nails, and teeth.
The oven had finally started to realize the true nature of what he was facing. Those nuns aren’t going to fall, as long as their spirits hold strong their bodies shall never perish, and their minds are made of steel.
He lifted his hand and breathed a massive blast of fire, setting both the nuns and his demons ablaze. "Let’s see you recover from this! Mindbreak demons, that woman, eat her soul!" He pointed his finger at the nun leading the charge and three demons flew through the fire, surrounding her.
With three demons plunging their creepy, disgusting fingers into her mind, the nun’s souls quickly shook. Fire burst from her eyes as she screamed with a blue flame raging from beneath her flesh. It doesn’t matter how strong her faith and mind are, with three demons she is bound to fall.
The demons’ goal was to break free from her faith. Sink into the darkest parts of her soul, and then use that to control her and the other nuns. They saw her praying to Arad, they saw her looking at Eris’s statue, and they felt the fear, worry, and terror that she felt right before this war.
They broke from the shackles of her faith in Arad and sunk into her soul, suddenly stopping at a scene drawn from her darkest mind. They found it, Hearsay, the path to crack her spirit. She was there, sucking on a woman’s toes…but it didn’t take the demons a second to realize that the woman she was dreaming of worshipping was Eris.
The nun screamed, purple veins of plasma burning across her whole body as Eris’s manifestation inside her mind glared at the demons. That scene was nothing but a fantasy conjured by the nun’s mind, but now that the demon had pushed her to the limit, Eris had sensed the nun’s feelings through their blood, through pure divine worship.

CLAP! With a roaring divine smite, the nun ripped the demons to pieces with a [Divine cleaver] She stood in a wrath stance behind the murdered demons, her body sparking with purple plasma, divine magic, and nuclear radiation.
"O’divine spark of murder…this humble woman shall dedicate her life to you. O’blood lord, please forgive this heretic for seeking another’s blessing." She was crying but her body immediately sparked with radiation and a smile crossed her face.
"The Lady of Murder had accepted me, and my Blood Lord didn’t abandon me." Her sword burned with plasma, fire, divine magic, and nuclear radiation.
"Foul demons! This humble woman shall not thank you." She shook her head with a gentle smile, "It was the blessing of my blood lord that put me in this war, it was he who guided me to light, to Eris’s blood."
She stomped forward, "But I shall grant you a painful death, to worship my lady with your blood, without life. Scream, squirm, writhe in agony, for we shall not falter!"
