THE DISABLED HEIRESS, MY EX-HUSBAND WOULD PAY DEARLY.-Chapter 312
Outside the grand Jackson family residence, the afternoon sun hung lazily above the compound, spilling golden rays across the massive black gate that stood like a silent guardian. The place looked intimidating—tall walls, security cameras fixed at every angle, and two uniformed guards stationed firmly by the entrance, each of them standing like they'd been carved from stone.
Oliver stood there quietly, hands in his pockets, his face calm but unreadable. Beside him, Lisa looked strikingly composed, though her calmness wasn't born out of patience—it was the kind of calm that came from confidence. Her long hair danced lightly with the wind, but her eyes stayed sharp and fixed on the guards in front of her.
The guards had already noticed them from a distance, but when Oliver and Lisa finally reached the gate, one of the guards took a step forward and stopped them, his tone cautious but slightly authoritative.
"Excuse me, sir, ma'am," he said, crossing his arms. "Where are you going? You can't just stand here."
For a moment, Oliver said nothing. He simply glanced at Lisa, who gave a faint smile—one that carried more command than kindness. Without waiting for Oliver to respond, she took a single step forward, her voice low but firm.
"Go inside," she said clearly. "Tell your matriarch that Lisa is here to see him. Tell him to come outside immediately."
Her words hung heavy in the air, cutting through the afternoon silence like a blade.
Hearing what lisa just said, the guards exchanged quick, uneasy glances. They weren't used to people speaking in such a bold tone at this gate—certainly not to them. One of the guards furrowed his brows, looking Lisa up and down, as if trying to confirm whether she was joking or insane.
"Wait," he said with a slight scoff. "You want us to go inside… and call our boss? Just like that? You're saying he should come out to meet you?"
His voice carried a mix of disbelief and anger. The other guard tightened his grip on his walkie-talkie but didn't say anything yet, his eyes darting between Lisa and Oliver, trying to read the situation.
Lisa didn't even flinch. She crossed her arms slowly, her gaze never leaving the guard's face. "You heard me right," she said coolly. "I don't repeat myself twice."
The tone in her voice made the first guard's jaw tighten. He couldn't believe the audacity. People usually begged to be let in, begged to see the Jacksons—but this woman was standing there, demanding the matriarch to come out to her.
His expression turned cold as he muttered under his breath, "So you want us to go inside to call our boss, that you wants to see him?"
At that moment, the other guard immediately uttered, his deadly gaze still locked on Lisa, his tone dripping with fury and arrogance.
"Who do you think you are? To actually command us to go call our boss? Who the hell are you, you crazy bastard? Do you even realize where you're standing?"
His voice echoed through the compound's iron gates as the rest of the guards slowly closed in, their hands resting on their batons and sidearms. The air was thick—too heavy for comfort.
One of them spat on the ground beside Oliver's shoes, sneering, "Do you even understand the kind of family that owns this place? The Jackson family doesn't entertain nonsense. People have lost their lives for less than what you just said."
However Lisa didn't flinch. Her eyes were calm, cold, unreadable—like she had seen worse than this before. Her stillness only seemed to enrage them further.
Another guard stepped forward, his boots grinding against the gravel. "Do you even know the crime you've just committed? You think you can run your mouth in front of this gate like you own it?" he barked, pointing his finger close to Lisa's face. "This is the Jackson family residence! You have no right to even breathe the air here, talk less of opening that filthy mouth of yours to give orders."
The others murmured in agreement, their voices rising, their laughter sharp and cruel.
One guard, the tallest among them, crossed his arms and hissed, "You've got one minute. Just one. Turn around and walk away right now before we make you regret ever being born."
At that moment, upon hearing what the guards just said, Lisa didn't react with fear, not even a flinch. Instead, a cold, knowing smile slowly crept onto her lips. Her sharp eyes narrowed like a predator studying prey, calm and calculating. With slow, deliberate steps, she walked forward until she was just inches away from the head guard. Their faces were now level—her gaze drilling into his soul with unnerving clarity.
The tension around the gate thickened like a storm cloud. Oliver remained still behind her, arms crossed, his face unreadable. But his silence carried weight—a warning in itself.
Lisa tilted her head slightly, almost mockingly, then spoke with a voice that was soft… but it cut sharper than a blade.
"I'm going to count," she said, her tone smooth like ice sliding over steel. "Just from 1 to 5."
Immediately the guards looked at each other, confused, unsure if she was joking. But something in her eyes told them this was no bluff.
Lisa continued, "And immediately I count the number 5 and you still have not gone inside there to call out your boss…" She leaned closer, her breath brushing against the guard's face, and her voice dropped lower—colder.
"Then, your heads are going to roll." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Lisa words made the head guard's eyes widened slightly, but he didn't speak. He just stared at her, unsure whether to laugh or brace for impact.
"For actually disrespecting my boss…" Lisa's voice carried an ancient kind of fury, one wrapped in loyalty and pride. "My master."
"For actually saying those words in his presence," she added, eyes now glowing with restrained wrath.
Then, without raising her voice or breaking eye contact, she delivered her final sentence like a judge handing out a death sentence.
"I'm going to make sure that both of your heads are put on a spike… and your boss is going to be on his knees, crying for his life."
