Chapter 50: Chapter 49: Don’t Flirt Princess

"CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON!?" Quinn screamed again, his eyes staring back at the two of them. ‎Damien was still holding his cool, when he took a step back — his sword dissipating into nothingness. "She kissed you because she wanted to invade your memories. But it’s unfortunate that whatever she saw in that messed up head of yours, it sure was enough to knock her down."

‎’No No No!!!!’ Quinn felt a surge of fear. This just wasn’t what he had planned. He couldn’t risk it, not today. He couldn’t risk becoming a target. He couldn’t risk anyone knowing about his dirty little secret. He couldn’t risk becoming the prime enemy? No! Not even once! And if she saw those memories, which weren’t his to begin with.....fuck. He was in much more trouble than he thought.

‎"Why on god’s earth would she do that!!?" Quinn screamed.

‎"She wanted to be sure if you could be trusted.....trust me, she’s done that to me to and it sucked." Damien grinned. "Spent hours trying to stop the stinging migraine that followed....but whatever it is that you did, you did a pretty good job!"

‎"Excuse me?" Quinn cocked his eyebrows.

‎"She deserves that...." Damien said. "And now, I think this is our chance to get out of here!"

‎Emilia narrowed her eyes. "Wait, don’t tell me you’re just planning to leave her here!?"

‎"To be honest, yes!" Damien admitted to his great evil.

‎"What if she doesn’t wake up?" Emilia screamed.

‎"She always does." Damien said. "She’s not as easy to kill as you might think. Beneath the curves and pretty hair, she’s a ticking time bomb waiting to explode!"

‎"She doesn’t look anything like that!?" Quinn said.

‎"It doesn’t matter.... We can’t just leave her here...." she pointed at the pentagram. "... especially not with that!!!!!"

‎Damien sighed. "What!? Do you have any place in mind, where we can take her!? Cause that’s clearly not my place!?"

‎"You’re a Paladin!" Quinn said. "I’m pretty sure that alone should give you all the advantage you need."

‎‎Damien took a deep breath, walking a few steps ahead of them. This was becoming more and more annoying by every passing second, and he hated that. He hated that beyond anything else. Ad if there was one thing he was confident about? It was leaving her here. She was enough trouble than he could handle alone.

‎Beneath his feet, the darkness pooled like water, thick enough to bury his boots. Through the corner of an eye—he looked at them over a shoulder, before he said: "I’ve made up my mind. You two can stay with her until she wakes up."

‎"Wait what!?" Emilia screamed. "Where are you going!?"

‎’A hot bath would be nice,’ Damien smirked. "To finish off with my investigations."

‎"You do know that I can hear your thoughts, right!?" Quinn suddenly blurted, before he wrapped a hand around his mouth. Stupid!!!!

‎"Oh right, I had almost forgotten....but if you can do it now, I want you to read this...." Damien said. ’It’s high time you man up, kiddo! When I had my first time, I was a in a pretty embarrassing place....but I’m sure you can make the best out of it!’

‎"WAIT WHAT!?" Quinn felt like something had been slammed into his face. This wasn’t what he was planning, was it!?

‎And in the blink of an eye, the darkness consumed Damien.

*

‎There was an awkward silence between them. Quinn stood, leaning against the wall, arms folded across his chest. His eyes drifted to her, every here and there. But he couldn’t make sense of any of it. There’s no way he was going to do anything stupid with her, not when this woman was lying unconscious on the ground.

‎But maybe, if they just did it quickly-who would notice? That was the multimillion dollar question. No! This was insane, insane, insane!

‎"What’s so messed up in your mind that you had to send a mage into a coma?" Emilia suddenly asked. "Are you by any chances one of those messed up heroes? With memories so dark, if they were let to roam the world they’d destroy it?"

‎"I don’t think I have the right answer to that question...but....I do have a feel things that I prefer to keep buried!" Quinn felt something snap inside of him. "Though I doubt they’re strong enough to destroy everything in their path!"

‎"Well, whatever was in that messed up mind of yours.... brought this milf down to the ground!" she mumbled. "Though it made me jealous when she kissed you!"

‎"Huh!?" He cocked his eyebrows.

‎"Yes...." she admitted. "... I’ve always been curious to know what your lips taste like! And out of nowhere, someone with large boobs just comes to kiss you! Who does that? Tell me!? The audacity was exquisite!"

‎‎He scratched the back of his neck, awkward moment this was. A drop fo sweat slid down his forehead, landing with a loud plop on the ground. "You enjoyed watching that?"

‎"Who wouldn’t?!" Emilia asked. "But...like I said, it was enough to make me jealous—and I hate it when someone makes me Jealous!"

‎"I don’t think I like where all this is going!" Quinn mumbled.

‎"I think you should." Emilia turned, clearing the distance between them. She pressed her hand above his shoulder, her eyes burning into his eyes. There was a hint of cuteness that hovered all have her features and it was incredible. "In fact, I want to ask you a question!"

‎"S-Sure."

‎"If I gave you ten minutes with me to do whatever you want, what would you do with me?" She cocked her eyebrows.

‎‎’There comes the weirdness!’ Quinn was silent for a moment, just staring into her eyes whilst trying to dig up something tangible. He knew what she was asking, and what that meant not only to her, but also to him. He hated it. Hated that she was making him choose — hated that she was being delusional right now. Or maybe he was, and she wasn’t.

‎"Speak up, will you!?" she demanded.

‎He took a deep breath, before his lips stretched into a smirk. His hand slid down sides, stopping just at her waist. He pulled her a little closer, pressing her against his chest. Her eyes widened. "You know, we have more than ten minutes of pure silence and solidarity! Why tell you when I can just show you!?"

‎"Wait!" she screamed. "You wish to do that here!?"

‎"Yes." He replied. "What other place could be better than this? We have all the privacy we need!!!!"

‎‎"I didn’t know you were into this kind of stuff," she giggled.

‎He shook his head. "of course I didn’t either. Until you pressed the button, and here I am!"

‎"Marvelous, isn’t it!?" Emilia mumbled. "But I wouldn’t want my first time to be in a creepy tunnel with a woman whose drowning in her own blood!"

‎Quinn’s cheeks burned. "Who said anything about us having sex!?"

‎"Huh?" She narrowed her eyes.

‎"Exactly!" he grinned. "You asked, and I did exactly what I said I would. Hold you up!"

‎Her jaw dropped, sweat dripping down her forehead. "Oh my Lord.... You’re so embarrassing!"

‎‎Of-course he was lying. Or wasn’t? She couldn’t tell the difference. But whatever it was that was going on, she wanted it to keep flowing.

‎"What were you expecting me to do...?" Quinn asked. "Press you against the wall, kiss you so hard you forget to breathe? Pin your wrists above your head and make you scream my name!?"

‎Oh maybe he knew what he was talking about. Her cheeks burned over the thoughts that raced up in her mind. She wanted that, she wanted something like that. Now that he said it, of course.

‎The only thing that burned in her mind were images—thoughts of her fingers going through his blond hair, brushing past his silky strands. His fingers tracing her skin, burning deeper and deeper.

‎"I think now’s the time for you to do that....!" she said.

‎"W-What!" Quinn didn’t want that, yet!

‎"Yes....you create the proposal!" she giggled. "so,...show me how much of a hero you’re....and save me from my dirty little thoughts!"

‎"Who said anything about me being the hero!?" Quinn wanted to change the subject, before it got out of hand. "Haven’t you heard that I’m the devil in disguise!?"

‎"You’re the devil huh?" Emilia smirked. "A devil and a princess, locked up together in a bloody cave!!!! That’s pretty awesome, don’t you think!?"

‎"Yes!" Quinn admitted. "But.....that also doesn’t mean we should be doing anything nasty."

‎"But what if I wanted to do it? Would you be able to stop me?" she cocked a brow.

‎"Of course not!"

‎"Good!" she said. "I guess that gives me power over you!"

‎The woman started coughing, and they both turned in time to stare at her. She coughed a little more, her eyes peeling open as she slowly adjusted into a sitting position. Her hand rested on her forehead, her other wiping off the blood. "What happened?"
