Chapter 286: Chapter 27: The Fallen Noble Lady

Andophin raised her hand and pressed it against Walter’s face, pushing that large face aside: "No, this time, kill them all. The rules of the game are void."

Walter was stunned; clearly, this was something that had never happened before.

"Where is the black-haired, black-eyed oriental girl?" Andophin’s voice was like it was laced with poison.

"Should be over there? With that noble lady." Walter suddenly somewhat understood Andophin’s change of heart. That oriental girl, he had seen her too, indeed beautiful and very distinctive. Was it because His Majesty the King had taken an interest in her? So now his master Andophin needed to eliminate this girl.

Walter understood better than anyone else that he would only have a good life as long as Andophin was in power. Therefore, this oriental girl must die, and she must die miserably, in a way that leaves her unrecognizable.

Thinking of this, Walter’s expression became solemn, as he handed Andophin her usual sword, slender and sharp. Easily capable of piercing a girl’s soft chest.

Andophin put on a pair of leather gloves, took the sword, and, with the knights behind her, entered the maze.

Lou Sha, with Tianmiao, had long found a corner room in which to hide. Lou Sha, with her extraordinary memory, had already mapped the entire corridor in her mind. Now, all she needed to do was reach the northeastern gate, and there was a great chance they could escape, as that gate was usually closed, unlike the other three which were guarded. This was their only chance.

Andophin walked through the corridor, her high heels’ sounds like a death-chanting curse.

This corridor, which she personally designed, was such that nobody would know better than her where these timid girls would likely choose to hide.

Most of the knights behind her spread out to look for Tianmiao, with only two remaining by Andophin’s side for protection. Although Andophin didn’t believe these cowardly, sheep-like female slaves had the capacity to harm her, it was always wise to be cautious.

The knights opened the doors one by one, their sharp spears and torches bright enough to fully illuminate the rooms, leaving no place to hide.

In less than ten minutes, Andophin’s sword had already claimed two souls.

Whistles symbolizing this slaughter echoed around, as nobles even began counting amongst themselves or deliberately made the dying screams more harrowing. Intense symphonic music blared above the maze, stimulating these fiends to find further pleasures in the killings. Yet, a few nobles remained silent, contemplating Lou Sha’s fate and thereby contemplating their own fates as well.

The King didn’t notice this anomaly among some of the people. He was fixated on watching below, looking for the shadow of that oriental girl.

Below, this carpet-like search and slaughter squeezed the remaining living girls into tighter corners.

Under this near-psychotic high pressure, aiming for the last two spots of survival, some had already begun to turn their weapons on the companions that had accompanied them all this way.

"Hey, here’s a pitiful one." Andophin pinched the girl’s chin, admiring her eyes filled with terror and despair. The blood-stained dagger in her hand fell to the ground, with two girls who had just lost their breath lying around.

"Madam, spare me, there’s no one left, surely I am the last one alive, all of them are dead, I killed them!" The girl met Andophin’s eyes, beginning to tremble.

Andophin released her chin and said: "Not bad, but I’m sorry to tell you, you are not the final survivor." Then, a sword through the heart; how could there possibly be any survivors? These little girls are truly naïve and lovely. That final look of fear mixed with hope was especially beautiful.
