Chapter 879: Liam And Rowena

"Who's Julian?" Prince Liam asked once. He caught the looks of the rest of the crowd and then immediately decided that it was better to get away from the crowd.

Rowena herself noticed the glances that everyone paid on to them and made a choice that it was better to confront Julian over to a less crowded place. She grabbed his wrist and dragged him to an alley.

"Gosh... sorry, I almost reveal your real name back in the market," she muttered to Liam as she dragged the man with her. Liam had no choice but follow her. He was confused when he heard she mention that she was not supposed to call him Julian.

Did she mistake him for another man? Or was she playing with him?

He observed Rowena carefully and could conclude that she was not playing with him or joking. So, she might actually know guy, whom she called Julian, who looked somewhat like Liam.

So, were she and that Julian guy using aliases now and shouldn't have called each other with their real names? Why did they do it? This sounded so mysterious and exciting! He couldn't wait to know more.

When they arrived at the alley of buildings far away from the crowd, Rowena immediately pushed the young man against the wall and narrowed her eyes. "How did you get so changed so quickly?"

"Huh?" Prince Liam was confused but decided to play along. "You mean this outfit?"

"Yes." Rowena rubbed her face for a moment. She was shaken up by the incident at the marketplace, she nearly caught herself showing off the Phoenix bird feather and also revealing Julian's name.

They had a strict rule about using aliases, and she nearly revealed her friend's name. Now it wasn't like they were going to be hunted down simply because Julian was discovered—but it was far better to use aliases.

"You're always fast on your feet, I'm not going to ask from what clothesline you've snagged away those clothes, but they look good on you." Rowena smiled at the young man. "It's like you're a dashing young prince or something."

"O-oh... thanks." This was not even his regal outfit. Prince Liam actually toned down his appearance whenever he went to public places alone like this.

For a moment, Prince Liam was struck by her beauty.

It was his first time encountering such a beautiful young woman. The way that her beautiful blonde hair framed her face underneath from the hood gave her a mysterious vibe that made his heart pound.

At first, he thought that she was someone who was about to make a big mistake with the bird feather—he'd heard of Phoenixes, and if this woman was truly in the grasp of a Phoenix feather then it was better she kept it.

That was why he decided to help her out, but now, her beauty made him startled.

Whoever this Julian was, he was bound to be an extremely lucky guy.

Not only did this Julian find himself involved with a rather enchanting woman, this person also had the likelihood of sharing a similar appearance to Liam? That Julian guy really struck gold.

Since Prince Liam already got himself in trouble by escaping the palace to explore and have some fun... how much worse could it be to spend it some time with someone like her? Liam cleared his throat and looked at

Rowena up and down. "So... what am I supposed to call you this time?"

Rowena blinked and crossed her arms. "The name that I always used whenever we head to another city, of course."

"Why not something new?" Prince Liam asked.

"What's wrong with the previous name?" Rowena asked.

"I just thought it would be fine to use new names since we're in a new place, that's all," Prince Liam said.

"Uh huh."

Prince Liam thought about it some more and latched onto what he saw earlier and wagged his finger. "Besides, you almost blew it earlier with what you've nearly done by the market. Nobody in their right mind would just announce that they were in possession of a magical item you know?"

Rowena's lips twitched into an amused smile. It was silly when Julian got into his 'lecturing mode'. It was rare for him to do that so she decided to lighten up. "Not unless we're selling magical invisible bracelets?"

"Yes, I suppose." Prince Liam decided to agree, although he didn't have a single clue on what she was talking about. "So... about those names?"

"Fine, let's choose new ones." Rowena agreed. "What did you have in mind?"

"Uhhh... what about Harland for me?" Prince Liam said.

"Harland, huh?" Rowena couldn't help but smile at the cute name. "Should we match then?"

"Match?"

"Well, if you're going with Harland, I could go with Hannah? Hazel? Hmmm... Harlow?" Rowena snapped her fingers. "Harlow. Harlow is a good name. Let me use that."

"That sounds great, Harlow." Prince Liam smiled, relieved that he could use an alias and not alert this woman's suspicions that he was not Julian.

"Oh, you're already getting used to the name fast, Harland." Rowena grinned. "So, how did it go?"

"How did what go?" Prince Liam asked.

"Information searching. Haven't we agreed that we'll have you work up your charm and maybe find a girl while I also work on my side?" Rowena reminded him. "Or did you forget all about that?"

Prince Liam coughed. "...Well, I was thinking, how about we just spend the day to ourselves? Having fun?"

Rowena gave him a look. It wasn't that strange for Julian to make a suggestion for them to relax, especially when they had gone from one 'business' to another to unwind and avoid attention.

However, she was also hopeful that maybe Julian might meet a lovely girl.

Rowena rubbed the back of her neck. "Well, what do you suggest? Should we ask some locals and ask them what to do for fun?"

"Locals? You don't need to ask them—" Prince Liam held back his laughter when he spoke. "Ahem... because, I've already heard of a lot of nice spots to visit. Have you seen the Wishing Mermaid Lagoon?"

"Huh? So you've already managed to pick up a few vital pieces of information then." Rowena said, rather impressed. She didn't know why Julian hadn't brought it up already. "All I got from earlier was pearls being Mermaid's tears, but that's all hogwash. I wonder why they named the lagoon like that?"

"Well, the two of us will have to get there and I'll l

et you take a guess." Prince Liam smiled.

"Oh, so you're keeping secrets?"

Prince Liam's eyes bulged for a moment. "Secrets? What no, not at all."

Rowena elbowed him in the side and gave him a smile. "What's with the awkwardness, Harland? Just lead the way."

"O-oh, of course, Harlow." Prince Liam smiled back. He was already a bit nervous of what would happen if this person figured out that he wasn't really Julian, but he was thrilled to have the opportunity to go out with someone like her.

Rowena was so beautiful and carefree, and being with her made Prince Liam think of adventures and freedom.
