Austin went forth to have a casual, understanding smile on his face as he responded to the words of Eleanara. His face, as if he seemingly understood the meaning of what she was saying, only seemed to tick Eleanara off more than she could come to understand herself.

"You don’t have any idea on what will happen in the path you have chosen to walk. In the end, only despair will await you, nothing else....."

Eleanara spoke, her eyes narrowing, a deep itch in her heart that she can’t seem to settle as Austin replied with the same smile on his face.

"As I said before, it might happen. Maybe I might fail like never before, but it wouldn’t be so because I didn’t try. Whatever might come my way from what I chose to walk, I will accept it with grace....."

The aura of innocence flashing from the body of Austin as it filled the room, though once again, it was only winding the itch in the heart of Eleanara. She could understand that she didn’t have to say any of this; she could let it go. But something in her mind was not relenting, something about that innocence was affecting her better than she hoped to respond against.

"What you see and wish are just the words of a child, sprouting nothing but words she will never be able to back up. In the end, you will just be broken and lost, without any of your friends by your side. They would be dead and lost just because of you!"

A shout at the last of her words made the whole room tremble, but Austin didn’t relent at it. His expression seemed to turn understanding as his eyes widened for a moment. After this, his expression turned more calm as he gazed deep into the eyes of Eleanara and asked,

"Is this a story for me or a story about you?"

His words hit right at the mark, making Eleanara’s face run pale for a moment. All those memories flashing through her mind, all that baggage she had refused to deal with, now seemingly hitting back at her. Her expression was not at all looking that acceptable as her hold on the armrest tightened, and just as she was about to speak, Silva struck.

"It seems the queen is a bit tired. It would be better for this conversation to continue another time, young lord."

Her words flowing with ease as she went forth to place a small hand on the shoulder of Eleanara, quickly trying to control the mental stability of her friend. Austin was still seated on the seat, looked between Eleanara and Silva, after which he gave an understanding nod. Slowly, without saying anything, he stood up from his seat.

But as he did so, he paused for a moment as he stood still, his gaze looking between Eleanara and Silva, after which Austin spoke.

"There is an important reason also to which why I headed personally to this place, and it was to meet you, Queen Eleanara. For you see, during my travels, I stumbled upon something, and I also had made a promise to it. So please, when you are ready, contact me."

After Austin said this, he placed a small recording stone on the table, one that seemed ancient and a little bit rusted. After speaking of such, Austin didn’t say anything else. With a nod, he gave to Silva, she took the lead with Austin catching after her, the two of them leaving the room, leaving the thoughtful queen with her eyes focused on the recording stone.

......

Austin’s POV:

’That went better than I thought’

I am pretty sure that Eleanara will be making some drastic actions after she sees what’s on the stone. She would be thrilled to know more about it; it would be a personal mission of hers for revenge and redemption, and I will be the one that will take her on that journey.

’Though, it won’t be just her’

As I thought of this, my eyes focused on the maid Silva walking in front of me. She herself is from a noble origin, a small one that had always served the family of Eleanara, and she too was once part of her adventure. She has also made quite the name for herself in the past, especially all the good she had tried to do for the world with her inventions and her innovations.

’All of them will be useful and powerful resources’

As I thought of this, we quickly moved across the place, soon reaching my room, after which Silva turned to me. Her always calm expression now having some small shifts to it as she looked at me, the greatest one I could read was that of hesitation as she finally spoke.

"Please don’t take everything of which the queen said to heart. In all those words, only the goodness for you remained in it."

I smiled at her words, waving my hands back at the maid Silva as I spoke.

"I understand. I perhaps know more about it than you can imagine—the adventures of the friends of the past and the name of a dwarf named Zakobath."

At the mention of the name, the whole calm expression blasted away from the face of Silva. Her expression seemingly twisting for a moment as she tried to speak.

"How do y-"

"Watching the stone together with the queen, some aspects of the truth will reveal themselves in that."

With those final words, I entered inside the room, leaving the shocked Silva outside, her mind no doubt seemingly churning in things she doesn’t know what she will do with.

"Good day"

With those words, the door closed behind me.

.....

’Sigh...this will take some time to set up’

I mused as my senses picked up through all the movement in the palace. My senses especially picking up on the plans that Lyssandra is seemingly planning in her place, the cute elements of it making me chuckle as I focused on the ’growth’ of Valdris. She no doubt is falling deeper into the hole of insecurities.

My senses watching as she seemingly kept running around the place, marking down ideas, rubbing her head in pain. She seemingly already has reacted to several scenarios where she would be thrown out and acted as if she would be useless in the future with me, which in a certain way can be true.

Right now, different from her mother, Valdris was planning on what she could do to save what’s left of everything and perhaps make me more addicted to her, so that I won’t perhaps lose interest in her. Some of her plans made even me raise an eyebrow at it as my senses then moved towards Silva, rushing through the place, heading directly towards Eleanara. Their life is now about to take a huge turn.

’Let’s have some fun, shall we?’

I thought, licking my lips as I focused on all the chaos I was causing to these women of the royal family all at the same time......

[I can see the fact that hell has booked the elite suite for your treatment in case you ever die]

’What would even be there, better torture?’

[Something like that. Perhaps even the devil will have to pick up points on the way you are manipulating right now; he would ask you for tips]

’As long as I can have the elite treatment....’

I quipped back, as I was speaking of this, the system suddenly remarked in a serious tone.

[It seems the young princess is making a big move]

’Tria?’

[Yes, she seems to have hit upon some huge changes]

’What’s that?’

[She has started her hidden murderer spree]

The words making my lips rise up. It would seem the regressors marking on what’s important has begun. It would always be the case where they would start to kill or hunt those ’villains’ before they could cause any real kind of harm.

’How’s it all going? After all, she still isn’t any bit too strong, and her curse still affects her.’

[She is doing it the old way, the princess style]

’Hummm......’

My mind started to rile up at the words. With Tria making a move, it would seem that all things will soon start to twist and turn.

’I seem to be missing something though...’

My eyes narrowed at that thought. The actions of Tria are a bit reckless if I have to say so. So if she is a regressor that has lived for some time longer and older, then she should be mature enough to understand that these actions she is doing now are not for the best, not with her bad luck plaguing her and all the eyes on her from all the changes that she is showing off.

Just as my thoughts seemed to mix and twist, a communication orb of mine trembled. Soon, a message flashed in my eyes, and seeing it, a small chuckle left my mouth. Soon, Tria’s actions started to look normal. After all, the message in front of me was from Trisha, and it was quite simple.

<My brother will soon leave his training realm and join the academy>

’It seems the 2nd protagonist will soon make his move’
