Chapter 2136: Chapter 2138: Escape

"Thank you, prince!"

Bowing slightly, Yang Dongxue pushed the door open and went in.

"Ugh, I’m so hungry," Yangyang muttered, rubbing his stomach, "He calls himself my uncle, yet he doesn’t send me any food. What kind of uncle is that? Just wait until I sneak out of here, I’ll see how I’ll settle accounts."

Yes, even though Prince Le warned him this place was an entry-only with no exit, he still wanted to try. He had to find a way to escape from here.

"Yangyang!" 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Yangyang turned his head, seeing Yang Dongxue come in with a food box, his eyes lit up. He leaped from the ground to her side.

"Aunt, you’re really not dead? That’s great." Yangyang hugged her arm, "Aunt, can you talk to that Prince Le and see if he can let me go home? I miss my mom and my wonderful dad."

This was difficult for Yang Dongxue. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to talk to Prince Le, but talking wouldn’t help at all.

Prince Le wouldn’t listen to her at all. Back when they left Capital City, she didn’t know anything. After just one sleep, they were already outside Capital City.

As for what happened later in Capital City, every time she tried to ask, Prince Le would get a dark face. The things she knew now were from secretly asking others.

"Yangyang, you must be hungry. Let’s eat first, and talk about other things after you’re full, okay?"

Seeing Yang Dongxue change the subject, Yangyang didn’t pursue it further.

"Alright, I am kind of hungry."

Yang Dongxue brought a roast chicken and some vegetables with rice. Yangyang ignored the vegetables, grabbed a chicken leg, and started chewing on it, asking nonchalantly, "Aunt, are we still in Jiangsu?"

He and the old man were captured in Jiangsu, and it’s been over half a month now.

"I also don’t know where this is."

"Ugh..." Failed to gather information.

"Will we be staying here forever?"

"I also don’t know."

"..." Yangyang wanted to ask, then what do you know?

He glanced at Yang Dongxue again, thinking to himself that, as sisters, how could she be so different from his mother? If it were his mother, she would have figured out everything inside and outside by now.

Well, Yang Dongxue didn’t know she was already being despised.

"Yangyang, you should rest now. I’ll come see you again tomorrow morning."

"Oh."

After she left, Yangyang didn’t sleep either. He walked around the room, and his eyes lit up when he noticed the window not far away. He originally thought the window was sealed, but it wasn’t. The window frame was unusual though, as there was a thin iron bar every few inches.

Thinking for a moment, he took off his outer robe and wet it with water from the teapot.

He waited until very late, listening until the sounds of movement outside had ceased. Only then did he move a chair over to the window, tied his robe between two of the iron bars, and twisted it like wringing water from clothes, using two levels of his inner strength.

He could only utilize three levels of his inner strength at most now; anything more would be uncontrollable.

As he exerted force, the two thin iron bars gradually bent until they touched each other.

He repeated the process with another pair, creating a large hole in the middle.

Without hesitation, he climbed up the window frame, sticking his head out to test the size—it was just right. Nimbly, he climbed out from inside, hid behind a pillar, and observed the surroundings, discovering that every corner of the courtyard was guarded, even the rooftop.
