Chapter 805: Chapter 806: Mu Yang

No one in the entire world has the power to bring down the Shangguan Family, not even Shangguan Sichen himself could do it.

After confirming that Su Changfeng wanted to recruit Mu Yang as his driver, Yue Qingshan found it ridiculous, because Su Changfeng didn’t need to pay off that debt for Mu Yang. However, Su Changfeng was insistent, so Yue Qingshan had no choice but to gather information about Mu Yang for him.

Even though Mu Yang had become destitute, many people still paid attention to his every move. After all, he was once a prominent figure in the Chinese Town of M Country. Even though his glory days were over, some people still hadn’t forgotten him.

In less than a day, Yue Qingshan found out where Mu Yang was now. He was in a suburb not far from the Chinese Town of M Country, running a small repair shop. He barely made ends meet by working there and was living a very destitute life.

After receiving the address, Su Changfeng drove to Mu Yang’s repair shop.

From the outside, the repair shop looked very rundown, but there were a few cars parked at the gate. However, those cars didn’t look impressive at all.

With this question in mind, Su Changfeng strolled through the gate and saw that quite a few things had been smashed as if someone was intentionally causing trouble.

For someone like Mu Yang, enemies were inevitable in the past. Now that he had fallen on hard times, those enemies were sure to come looking for trouble.

So, troublemakers would show up at the repair shop from time to time; it had become routine. The repair shop was quite large, but there were no other employees around, having been scared away.

From a distance, Su Changfeng saw several guys with baseball bats surrounding a young man who seemed utterly defeated.

The young man was kneeling on the ground, saying nothing regardless of the beatings or insults, as if resigned to his fate.

"Gang up on someone like this isn’t it a bit unfair?" Su Changfeng said calmly.

The sudden voice made those men immediately turn their attention to Su Changfeng, glaring at him viciously.

The leader rudely said, "If you don’t want your bones loosened by us, you’d better get lost. We stopped serving any customers long ago. Haven’t you heard?"

"I’m a friend of his, not a customer," Su Changfeng said with a smile.

The leader paused for a few seconds, then laughed loudly, "At this point, who would be blind enough to claim they’re this guy’s friend? Dude, are you tired of living?"

Mu Yang, still kneeling, looked up. He once had many friends, but now, who would still be willing to have anything to do with him? Moreover, Su Changfeng seemed unfamiliar; he didn’t recall having a friend like Su Changfeng.

"If you don’t leave now, you might lose your lives here," Su Changfeng said.

The men with the bats turned, seeing Su Changfeng as a target.

"Are you sure you’re not talking nonsense? I’m giving you one last chance to think carefully about what to say, or else we won’t mind giving you a beating first," the leader threatened.

"Want to fight?" Su Changfeng asked, his body moving in anticipation. "Since arriving in M Country, I haven’t fought in a long time. I miss the feeling."

"You’re asking for death!" The leader shouted with a fierce look, swinging his bat at Su Changfeng.

Su Changfeng had previously slaughtered his way through Purgatory. These small fry were no match for him.

He kicked the leader away with ease, and before the others could react, Su Changfeng was already attacking them.

These men looked tough and were armed, but when fighting Su Changfeng, not only did they gain no advantage, they were all knocked down in just a few breaths.

The leader, seeing this, was a bit panicked, realizing he’d met a tough opponent.

"Who on earth are you?" The leader said in fear.

Su Changfeng stood over him and said, "I already said, he’s my friend. I’m warning you once more: if you dare show up again, your life will be mine next time!"

With that, Su Changfeng stomped hard on the leader’s shoulder blade, the crack echoing and shocking everyone present.

The leader was rolling on the ground in pain, screaming continuously.

"Aren’t you going to leave?" Su Changfeng coldly turned to the other men.

Hearing this, they quickly scrambled up and ran off without looking back. One of them was in such a hurry he fell again with a thud, but didn’t care about the pain as he got up to run for his life.

Seeing the situation turning bad, the leader also decided to flee.

Mu Yang was still kneeling there. Even though those troublemakers had left, he didn’t seem inclined to stand up.

Su Changfeng walked over to Mu Yang, extending a hand to help him up.

But Mu Yang didn’t move; he only said, "We’re not friends."

"I’m Su Changfeng, and I know you’re Mu Yang. From now on, we’re friends," Su Changfeng said with a smile.

Mu Yang stood up, not even bothering to brush the dust off, and asked, "Why did you help me?"

"Because I hope you can help me in the future, so I stepped in to help you," Su Changfeng said.

Mu Yang gave a self-deprecating laugh and said, "In front of you is just a useless man after bankruptcy. I have nothing to offer you. You’d better leave now. Those guys have backup and are being instructed by someone. You beat them up, and the people behind them won’t let you off."

"If I leave, even if you get beaten to death here, probably no one would ever know, right?" Su Changfeng said.

"If they could beat me to death, I’d be grateful. It’s just that I’m too cowardly to kill myself, or I’d already be dead," Mu Yang said, clearly having given up on himself.
