The Chronicles of the Immortal God-Chapter 24: Mountain-Bashing Boar
“It’s not what you think it is!” Fang Lin waved his hands as he sputtered. “She is my pet! My battle pet!”
“Your pet?” Tang Yu sneered. “If she is your pet, why is she in a human form? You must have made your pet transform into a little girl to satisfy your wants!”
Due to the noise of their quarreling, Yao’er stirred awake. “Nnnnnnn….. Good morning Master!”
“Yao’er, why did you sleep like that last night?”
Yao’er’s face turned downcast and then she hugged her knees and said “I feel scared if I do not feel your presence Master. I want to feel that you exist Master.” She then started to rock back and forth. ” I am scared that you will leave me Master!”
“Hush, hush, hush, Master won’t do that ok?” Fang Lin immediately hugged the disconsolate young girl. “You can sleep like that next time, but be sure to wear clothes okay?”
“Unnnn!”
Even though Tang Ya was grossed out by Fang Lin’s choice of words, she was still caught by the cuteness of Yao’er. She wanted to hug her, but she feels shy too. Yao’er then saw her approach so she went near her and hugged her.
Venomshade on the other hand, looks HIGHLY pleased seeing a little girl. He then started to approach the little girl. The little girl saw Venomshade’s shady expression and she hid behind Tang Ya’s back. She, as an assassin, can somewhat feel that this man is not good for children like her.
“Great, now we have a real pervert!” Fang Lin exasperatedly said. Tang Ya just rolled her eyes upon hearing Fang Lin say that.
Fang Lin then introduced Yao’er. “This is my pet at the Body Refinement Stage, Yao’er. Her affinity is tied with the shadow element. Her way of combat is of that of a shadow assassin. Even though she is not yet at the Mana Circulation Stage, she can already use her shadow form.”
Venomshade and Tang Ya visibly got happy after hearing that. They now had another weapon available in their arsenal.
“So what do we do now?” Tang Ya asked.
“For now, we hunt cards! We’re gonna catch them all!” Fang Lin said proudly. But deep inside he cringed at what he said. “The hell, that feels so mainstream!”
They fixed their things and left the cave. They made sure to keep the cave hidden. They then trudged slowly along the forest, with Tang Ya in front, wielding her broadsword. Yao’er is at the rear, with a knife poised between her hands. Fang Lin and Venomshade are at the middle, ready to act as support.
At this position, Fang Lin could clearly see that even though Tang Ya has a feminine body, it has been mixed perfectly with her well-defined muscles. The curves of her body which was already for a femme fatale had been accentuated more by her abs and her THICC, THICC thighs. He could clearly see the muscles of her thighs contracting and relaxing with each step of hers. “Wait, why am I attracted to her muscles? Those are muscles goddamnit! Even if its from a female, well…. she’s a female so I guess its ok?” At that time, Tang Ya felt Fang Lin’s eyes probing deeply on her body.
Tang Ya was about the bash him hard when she heard an earth shattering roar.
“SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!”
Fang Lin’s group immediately braced themselves. They then felt the earth trembling with each of the beast’s steps. The rumbling got louder until they saw it.
A 15-foot tall boar lumbered its way slowly towards them, with its eyes glinting red. (Cue God of War Boss Fight theme song). Its tusks were around the length of a person, enough to pierce through boulders. Its humongous body rippled with flesh filled with power.
This beast in front of them is the Mountain-Bashing Boar. Of course the mountain bashing name comes from a peak Fifth Stage Mountain-Bashing Boar who destroyed chains of mountains with just one swipe of its tusks.
The one in front of them however, was just halfway through the Mana Circulation Stage. Its earth essence mana have already integrated with its blood vessels, skin and bones. It only needs to circulate its mana on its muscles, internal organs and finally in its Dantian to reach peak First Stage.
Fang Lin’s face turned solemn after seeing the beast. Even if he had a perfectly refined body, he can at most fight equally those at the 4th level of the First Stage. In front of this boar, he will be hard pressed to win. Yao’er’s strikes could at most dent its hard skin, but that’s the most damage she can do.
He then looked hopefully at Venomshade and Tang Ya. “Leave it to me.” Tang Ya said. She leveled her broadsword in front of her and she let out a deep breath. Immediately she released an aura of someone at the fifth level of Qi Condensation.
The reason why the mana of godly ascenders have their own affinity is because it was used to transform their bodies to be one with the essences and accept their blesssings. At the Mana Circulation Stage, their attacks mainly rely on using their mana to manipulate the elements around them. They will only have the ability to use magical spells at the Mana Materialization Stage.
For the immortal cultivators, the qi is used to temper their bodies, lengthen their lifespan and find their own ‘Dao’ which is a path they discover through self-rumination and life experiences. At the Qi Condensation Stage, even though the qi they use have no affinity, they can already project their qi outside of thieir bodies and use daoist spells.
From what Fang Lin can see, Tang Ya is focused on the path of using the broadsword. Fierce and powerful. It just matched her personality.
The boar got impatient and started to attack Tang Ya. The earth shifted around it, with some rocks hurtling at high speeds towards Tang Ya.
“Void-Shattering Slash!” She used her two hands and slashed the broadsword in front of her. It released out a pressure that crushed the rocks into tiny pieces. She then produced a thin sword which she stood on. The sword then levitated Tang Ya a few feet above the ground.
“Damn, that’s a flying sword! Only those at the fifth level of qi condensation can fly using that.”
The boar of course got irritated when it saw what was happening. It’s main advantage on terrain has been lost. But with its pride, it continued to attack Tang Ya.
Tang Ya’s teammates just stood at the sidelines, eating some fruits as if they were watching a show. Tang Ya resisted the urge to curse out loud. “These idiots, do they really trust me that much?”
Fang Lin was already about to gorge on his fifth apple when suddenly, he felt a calling inside him. He inspected it, and he realized it was the Pig Form of the Twelve Essences Martial Arts!
He realized that this pig form must be meant to emulate the Mountain-Bashing Boar! At that point, Fang Lin realized why only those at Perfect Body Refinement Stage can use the martial art. The person must be the beast. The boar in front of him can be considered fat. If he wants to be the boar, he needed to be fat too.
With him being a fatty right now, he had the qualifications to emulate the essence of the Mountain-Bashing Boar. He immediately performed the set of movements for ‘Pig’ while watching the Mountain-Bashing Boar intently.
It was then that he knew he f*cked up.
He suddenly dropped on his all fours, with his head facing the ground. He tried to stand up, but his body would not listen. He tried to call out to Venomshade for help but what went of his mouth was
“Squeee….. squeee? Squee! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!”
That’s when Fang Lin realized that the meaning of that phrase ‘become the animal’ in the Twelve Essences Martial Arts is actually in a literal sense! Right now, even if he looks human, he emanates the presence and feeling of a Mountain-Bashing Boar!
Tang Ya and the real boar saw this strange happening. Tang Ya was utterly dumbfounded by the turn of the events. She could not even describe her feelings right now.
The boar on the other hand, started shaking and salivating. Its skin started started to flush red while it breathed in and out deeply. It then stood up on its hind legs, proudly showing to Fang Lin its erected ‘weapon’.
The Mountain-Shaking Boar was clearly aroused!
