Chapter 348: Chapter 345: Little One

"Ahem!" Luna cleared her throat on the side, gave them a sidelong glance, and said, "We haven’t even eaten since we arrived, but our bellies are already full."

She rubbed the tip of her nose, then walked past them, heading out of the airport.

Elliana Lyle finally felt a little embarrassed, lowered her head, and bit her lower lip as she tucked the stray hair on her forehead behind her ear.

The man looked down at this alluring young girl, suppressed certain urges, and reached out to take her hand.

It was only five or six minutes from the airport to the hotel, a pretty short distance.

After entering the hotel, she realized Luna was gone. It seemed Luna hadn’t gotten into the car with her earlier, and now she was nowhere to be seen.

When she checked her phone, she found a message from Luna.

Luna (Master): "Stay put, I have things to do."

Just as she was about to ask what was going on, another message came through.

Luna (Master): "Don’t ask, asking means I’m not telling."

Seeing this, she simply didn’t chase after answers and just replied, "Stay safe," before eagerly heading to the hotel bedroom.

She was really exhausted and just wanted to lie down on the soft bed and take a nap.

After placing the flowers on the bedside table, she threw herself directly onto the bed.

This action startled Norman Bennett behind her!

"Girl, are you hungry? What do you want to eat?" The man said this as he approached her and lifted her, who was already sprawled on the bed, into his arms.

Then he laid her properly and covered her with the blanket.

"Anything, I want meat." Even though she wasn’t in the mood to eat, she felt she should eat.

She then lifted the blanket, giggling, and raised her shirt to reveal her stomach, saying, "Norman Bennett, do you want to listen?"

Luna had already listened, but Luna said there was no sound. Yet she wanted Norman to listen once, even if there really wasn’t any movement.

"Okay." The man agreed, gently putting his ear to her belly, listening intently.

She watched his expression, trying to discern something, but Norman Bennett’s face showed no expression, probably because there was indeed no movement.

If she could, she wished she could listen too. After all, she felt something, as if there was a new force inside her belly.

Her belly was still flat now, but later it would swell, and she’d feel even more like a mother.

Speaking of mothers, she thought of her own. If her mother were alive, knowing her daughter was also becoming a mom, she would surely be delighted.

At this moment, Norman Bennett had moved away from her belly, playfully tapping her nose with his forefinger. "Be good, hubby needs to go out for a business meeting. Don’t leave the hotel, and someone will bring food later, okay?"

"Okay." She nodded, showing she understood.

After all, she didn’t want to go out anyway. Luna had warned her how dangerous it was outside, and she wasn’t the type to seek out thrills.

"Good girl." Norman Bennett ruffled her hair, his eyes carrying an indescribable emotion, as if there were a hint of heartache inside, and maybe a touch of melancholy. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

This made her a bit confused, making her already sensitive heart restless.

She hastily reached out to grip the large hand rubbing her head, saying, "Norman Bennett, what’s wrong? Are you unhappy?"

"No."

He took her hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it gently.

Then he softly said, "It’s because I feel sorry for my little girl, having to suffer for the little one in her belly."

She smiled, her eyes forming crescents, "Norman Bennett, this is our child. I’m willing." No matter how hard it is, she was willing to endure it.
