The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 148: Do You Really Like Drugging Men?
Yelena Hughes was silent on the other end of the phone. Jasper Yale didn’t hear her voice, and Madeline Forest also thought the call had dropped.
She glanced at the screen, "Yelena?"
"You couldn’t have drugged him."
"That’s right, I didn’t..."
After saying this, Madeline Forest sneakily glanced at Jasper Yale. Could she dare say Jasper Yale was talking nonsense?
"It’s good you didn’t. Madeline, don’t be afraid; just explain it to him properly."
Madeline Forest was so anxious that cold sweat was dripping from her forehead. "Young Master Yale said he reacted."
"Is he next to you?"
"He is."
That is to say, when Madeline Forest called, Jasper Yale was right there watching. But why would he allow Madeline to call her?
"Then find Chester and ask her to help get two pretty girls."
Listening, Jasper Yale felt a surge of blood rushing upward. Madeline Forest felt as though the air around had frozen.
"I’m locked in the suite, Chester can’t get in at all. Yelena, he won’t do anything to me, right..."
Yelena Hughes thought to herself, it shouldn’t be to that extent.
"Madeline, don’t be scared. Just apologize properly to Young Master Yale." Yelena actually wanted to say, Jasper Yale has someone new now. Even if he’s drugged, he doesn’t lack people to calm him down.
Madeline Forest’s eyelids trembled lightly, clutching her phone tightly, and glanced at Jasper Yale standing beside her.
"Young Master, this is truly a misunderstanding..."
Jasper Yale looked at Madeline Forest with an innate sense of disdain. He called over Hailey Jenkins, "There are a few glasses of wine left on the table; let someone come and drink them all."
"Yes."
Yelena Hughes heard footsteps coming and going. A robust bodyguard was called in, heard Jasper Yale was serving wine, and without hesitation, downed all the remaining glasses.
Jasper Yale leaned back on the sofa, huskily saying, "When the drug’s effect kicks in, you’ll be the only woman in this suite."
"..."
Madeline Forest glanced at the bodyguard’s physique, imagining scenes that were too horrific to consider, "Young Master, let me go, I didn’t do anything."
Jasper Yale reached out his palm to her. Seeing she didn’t move, he hooked his finger.
"Give me the phone."
"Wh... what for?"
"It’s time you get ready."
Madeline Forest’s mind was about to explode. Ready for what? To become a punching bag?
Jasper Yale took her phone and cut off the call.
Yelena Hughes had just finished her shower, now sitting dazedly on the edge of the bed. Based on her understanding of Jasper Yale, he probably wouldn’t touch Madeline.
If he did this, was he trying to trick her into coming over?
Yelena Hughes thought of this, and then felt it was unlikely. Jasper kicked her without mercy, how could he spend such efforts on her?
But what if there really was a drug in those drinks?
Yelena Hughes called Chester, who was also quite anxious.
"I don’t know if Madeline Forest really drugged the drinks. Now Young Master says she did, and no one dares say ’no’."
"I think it won’t escalate too much. Chester, please keep an eye on things, okay?"
Chester naturally agreed, but soon added a sentence, "Did you... recently offend Young Master?"
"No, I even blocked his number to stay far away."
"Then that’s fine," Chester muttered over the phone, "He looks like he’s deliberately causing trouble."
Yelena Hughes furrowed her brow slightly, thinking the same.
Forget it, even if she lay down on the bed, she couldn’t sleep.
Yelena Hughes hurried to The Sovereign Club, and Chester led her to Jasper Yale’s suite.
"I begged, but it was useless; Young Master wouldn’t let me in."
Yelena Hughes wanted to knock, the person guarding the door gave her a look, but directly let her in.
Chester also wanted to follow, only to see the door forcibly closed in front of her.
Yelena Hughes glanced around; there were few people in the suite. Seeing her, Madeline Forest’s eyes brimmed with hope.
"Yelena."
Yelena Hughes walked to her side, touching her forehead, "Are you okay?"
"I’m fine."
She turned to face the man sitting upright on the sofa and greeted him politely but distantly.
"Young Master, hello."
He didn’t look like he was drugged, sharp and calm, yet Jasper Yale didn’t spare her even a glance.
Yelena Hughes simply spoke with Hailey Jenkins, "If there’s really a drug in the wine, what should we do now? Should we go to the hospital? We can cover the medical expenses."
Hailey Jenkins awkwardly twitched the corner of his mouth, "That depends on Young Master."
Yelena Hughes didn’t look at Jasper Yale either. She sat on the sofa, comforting the frightened Madeline.
"Young Master is a man of great caliber. A small dose wouldn’t make him lose his senses."
Jasper Yale leaned forward a bit, reaching for the cup on the table. His collarbone was slender, and his fingers wrapped around the glass gracefully.
This man, with even the slightest movement, was a sensual frame.
Yelena Hughes caught Jasper Yale standing up with her peripheral vision as he walked two steps toward her, his tall figure appearing before her.
The scent belonging to Young Master Yale was charming, and Yelena’s breath became rapid.
However, he didn’t stop but went directly to Madeline Forest.
"Do you like drugging men?"
"I didn’t, I swear!"
Madeline knew swearing wasn’t worth anything.
He seemed to really react, sitting next to her, sandwiching Madeline between Yelena and Jasper Yale.
The man placed fingers around his neck, tugging at the buttons, "I’m the one who drank it, I have the most right to speak on whether your drink is clean."
"Then what does Young Master want me to do?" Madeline spoke up.
Jasper’s gaze swept past, actually landing on Yelena’s face.
This question should have been asked by her.
When Jasper kicked her, it was straightforward. Yet, not once this year had he touched her. He...
Jasper’s throat rolled. He wouldn’t admit, he missed the intoxicating taste.
The words were left hanging, and Yelena didn’t respond.
Whether he was drugged or not had nothing to do with her. If he couldn’t hold it, he should quickly find someone.
Jasper swirled the wine in his glass, "I now need a woman."
The statement was blunt, unbearable for ordinary women.
Madeline’s face turned red as she quickly glanced at Yelena.
What the Young Master wanted was her, right?
"I just spoke with Chester. The Sovereign Club recently brought in a batch of beautiful girls, two are exceptionally outstanding."
And Yelena was focused solely on finding someone for him.
She showed no sign of thinking about him, nor a need for him.
Jasper’s gaze dimmed significantly. The women he discarded were never meant to be retrieved.
The two stalemated; ultimately, Jasper found it boring, grabbed his jacket, and headed out.
Madeline’s tense expression finally eased upon seeing him leave.
"Yelena, he scared me to death..."
Madeline thought Jasper had already gone far, her voice grew louder, "Young Master wouldn’t have set this up just to see you, right?"
"Young Master doesn’t lack women. Changing seven in a night is no issue. He and I ended a long time ago, no, we never began."
