Only Kaiden knew how much control he needed at that moment to hold himself back and help his mate through the problem she was facing with her powers.

Emily gasped for air while her eyes struggled to focus. Despite knowing that she was supposed to focus on her powers, her brain was too fuzzy at the moment to do anything related to concentration. Kaiden shook his head before answering - "Not really, Angel, and that’s why I want you to concentrate. Focus on your powers and try to take control over them. Unatngle them and summon only one. Show me that you can do it."
He was asking for the impossible. The fact that she just had her first orgasm and he was still buried deep inside her, was not allowing her the luxury of thinking about anything else but him and how good he felt inside her.

A gasp escaped Emily’s lips as her ears registered him calling her by her full name, something he rarely did. Everytime he called her Emilia instead of Angel, she felt something fluttering deep inside her belly. She loved the way her name sounded in his voice.

He meant to warn her but the growl that left his lips and the burning desire in his eyes made it his words sound anything but that.
"Punishment?" Emily couldn’t help but ask in a whispered voice as she gazed into his mesmerizing cerulean blue eyes.
"Mmhm." Kaiden hummed in response as he stared right back into her eyes.
"Like what?" For some weird reason, Emily was unable to hold herself back from pushing him further, despite knowing that it was the last thing she should be doing.
The fire in Kaiden’s eyes intensified as he pulled himself out of her till only the head of his length was still inside her, and then thrust his entire length inside her, filling her completely.
A loud moan escaped Emily’s lips as her back arched in response to his move. All her senses returned to focus on the sweet tingles that rushed through her body.

And for once that night, Emily didn’t dare to question him back anymore as the look in his eyes made her believe him immediately.
Clearing her throat, she tried to focus elsewhere and recalled why they were in their current situation to begin with. "Right. I’m going to focus on untangling my elements."
Kaiden just nodded his head and watched as she actually started working on her elements that were tangled up badly. It took her quite some time, and a lot of patience on Kaiden’s part, before she successfully completed separating her elements and summoned water.
Kaiden felt cold water droplets rolling down his spine out of the blue and the sweet chuckle from the woman under him explained that it was her doing.
"What now?" She asked innocently.
"Now we will try again."
Before Emily could have wrapped her mind around the meaning of his words, his mouth was already covering hers in a powerful kiss that made her forget e everything but him and the way he was making her feel.
Kaiden took his time to build her pleasure before he gave her a second orgasm and once again directed her to work on her elements that once again got worked up.
With every round, Emily was becoming better and quicker in untangling her elements. However, her goal was not to untangle them quickly but to keep them from getting entangled in the first place.
