The billionaire's only desire-Chapter 75: Billionaire Club gala party part 3
Chapter 75: Billionaire Club gala party part 3
Maya sat down in the dirt in her beautiful tainted gown, feeling defeated. Dalton must be on his way home to pick her up, but she is looking disheveled.
Maya wanted to cry, but Charlotte would have another victory. "Damn! Charlotte!" Maya cursed, releasing her rage. Perhaps she should have made Dalton kick her out of the house when he offered to. She is too nice for her own good.
"Chef DeLuca, Are you alright?" A housemaid appeared out of nowhere.
Maya instantly recognized her voice. Her furious eyes blazed at the housemaid. "It was you, right?" She aimed a finger at her. "Why were you calling my name!"
The housemaid trembled, guilt etched across her face.
"And you put this broken flowerpot here to make me trip and fall!"
"I am sorry, Chef DeLuca!" The housemaid burst into tears as she collapsed to her knees. "I didn’t want to. Miss Charlotte forced me." She sobs.
She crawled pitifully over to Maya and grabbed her leg. "Please do not get me fired. I had no choice!" "Gosh!" Maya grunts. Charlotte has only been here for a few weeks and has already turned the housemaids against her.
"What did she promise you?" Maya questioned the housemaid harshly. The housemaid simply sobs, refusing to answer. "Answer me!" Maya lashed out at her!
The housemaid coiled in a fret. "I told her about my sister, who was abused by her ex-husband. She ended up crippled, and the evil man went scot-free. Miss Charlotte promised to get justice for my sister, That is why I did this for her. Please forgive me for doing this." She sobs more intensely.
Maya’s rage subsided, replaced by an ache for the housemaid’s sister. Her story is making her have a remnant of hers. This enrages her. Charlotte is taking advantage of the situation to force the poor housemaid to do her bidding.
"I will speak with Dalton. I think he can help your sister get justice."
The housemaid was taken aback. "Thank you! I do not deserve your kindness after what I did!" she sobbed, wetting Maya’s gown with her tears.
"It wasn’t your fault; Charlotte used your sister’s dilemma to force you to do this." freeweɓnovel~cѳm
"Wow, Mother Theresa, always repaying those who hurt her with kindness." Aiden sniggered. He was leaning against the wall, looking disappointed.
Maya was startled. "Christ! Why do you always have to sneak up on people?"
"Disappear! I will deal with you later." Aiden barked at the housemaid. She scrambled to her feet and ran away in terror.
"Really, you should not have done that," Maya sneered at Aiden. "I can handle her on my own!"
"By offering her assistance after she hurt you."
"It wasn’t her fault. Charlotte forced her to do it." Maya defends the housemaid.
Maya jerked her hand towards Aiden, and he helped her get back on her feet.
Maya scanned her body for cuts; fortunately, there were none; however, her legs hurt, so she took off her heels.
"This is the second time a woman who is insanely obsessed with Dalton has attempted to kill you." Aiden made an assertion.
"Well, Soraya intended to kill me, but Charlotte’s stunt was simply to sabotage my gown and prevent me from attending the gala party with Dalton."
Aiden grumbles in disagreement. "If she could force a housemaid to cause a fall, I am sure she would threaten another housemaid to poison you. "
Maya’s eyes widened, and goosebumps formed all over her skin. "You believe she is capable of doing that.,"
"Yes, Charlotte is the Devil incarnate."
That made Maya laugh. "You really despise her."
"This she-devil almost killed me when we were thirteen. She locked me in a closet for hours, knowing I was claustrophobic. I nearly had a heart attack because of the panic attacks I experienced. "
Maya’s mouth gaped open. "That’s the prank she mentioned! It’s not a prank at all; it is cruelty!"
"Why did she do that?"
"She thought I was playing cupid between Dalton and a female classmate I had invited to play video games with us."
Maya swallowed hard. "If she did this at thirteen then she can kill me over Dalton!"
Aiden lets out an animal-like growl. "I won’t let her! You or Dalton should give me the go-ahead. I will serve you her head on a plate."
"Whoa, we are not killing anyone." Maya shakes her hands.
"People have been trampling upon you, and you have not retaliated. You must fight back!" Aiden indulges her like an army commander trying to boost his troops’ morale.
"But how do I fight back?" Maya’s shoulders slumped, dejectedly. Why is she always so weak? She is a coward who has never fought back against her abusers. She put up with all the abuse until Dalton came into her life.
"Hit me,"
Maya’s face fell into a frown. "Huh? I should hit you?"
Aiden nods. "Yes, hit me as hard as you can."
Maya clenched her fist. "You asked for it."
She punches him with all her might, bursting his lips.
She grits. "Oops, sorry. Damn, I have metal fists." She grinned.
"Oh, it hurts like a bitch," Aiden groans. "But I deserved it." "
Why do you deserve this?" Maya was perplexed.
"I’m part of the people who trampled all over you and you have finally punched me for harassing you. That is how you fight back against those who have hurt you."
Maya billows out a big O. "This is sort of poetic. I wanted to do this also for a very long time." She abruptly kicked Aiden hard in the groin, sending him down.
"Damn, Maya! You are diabolical!" Aiden groaned aloud in pain as he held his groin.
Maya smirked, loving the rush she felt. "That was a good rage reliever."
"Good, now use the rest of your rage to teach Charlotte a lesson. Don’t let the bitch get away with this. "
Maya’s eyes hardened. "I will." Her mind was already conjuring up the perfect revenge.
