The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy!-Chapter 539: When The Hostage Takers Become The Hostage
Meanwhile...
The men driving the truck slowly switched off their lights. However, as they approached, they finally caught sight of a figure standing in the middle of the road from a distance.
"Boss," the man behind the wheel called, turning to the guy riding shotgun. "What do you think?"
"She’s just standing there," one of the men at the back commented, barely able to see Lola’s expression with the headlights off. "Either she’s brave... or just stupid."
Silence fell inside the truck, its pace slowing even further as if they were weighing their options. After a second, the man riding in the front leaned back.
"If she’s good money, we’ll need her alive," one man said. "If not, I bet she’s still going to be worth quite a bit for that body... or whatever good is inside her."
Hearing that, the men glanced at one another and exchanged low chuckles. But their confidence didn’t last long, because just moments later, all they saw was Lola sprinting straight toward them.
"What the fuck—" the driver blurted out, instinctively stomping on the brake.
Their eyes widened as they watched her run in their direction.
"What are you doing?" the boss of their small group snapped at the driver. "Don’t stop!"
"Don’t stop!" the men in the back echoed. "Hey!"
And for some reason, instead of moving forward, the driver stomped on the pedal again—sending the truck into reverse. Panic slowly took hold of them, and the driver flicked the headlights on. At the same time, he shifted gears and began driving forward.
"Boss," he called under his breath. "We’re gonna have to run her over."
The boss, riding shotgun, narrowed his eyes at the approaching woman. "Run over that motherfucker," he said as he tossed his cigarette out of the truck. "Or we’re gonna be in trouble."
After all, there was only one common enemy the big bosses of Ravah loathed so passionately.
And that was a woman.
A woman who was said to be the craziest they’d ever encountered—and the only woman in this territory who was recognized as the highest-level threat Ravah had ever classified.
Because of this, Ravah had stopped discriminating against women—one of the mistakes they had made in the past that almost cost them everything. These men were not about to make the same mistake.
But alas...
It was already too late.
Because the very woman they had followed just happened to be the only woman in Ravah that everyone had been watching out for.

The sound of the truck’s engine echoed continuously along the quiet road, mixed with men’s grunts and heavy breathing.
Men—five in total—lay scattered across the ground, with a few knocked unconscious inside the truck. Those who managed to stay conscious could only groan in pain. After all, Lola had hit them where it hurt, targeting parts that could easily incapacitate them. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Meanwhile, Lola stood near the front passenger seat, rummaging through the compartment for something.
"You..." the leader of the group groaned, eyeing the crazy woman who had sprinted toward a moving vehicle. But instead of getting run over, she had jumped so high that they were briefly stunned by the insane stunt.
From there, things escalated—and now, here they were.
They couldn’t even shoot at her. Before they could, shots were fired at their legs or guns were pointed at their heads, only for the weapons to be smacked away with brutal precision.
"You’re the thief of Ravah, aren’t you?"
Lola paused, then glanced at the man who spoke. "No, that’s not me... whoever that was."
"Hah." The man scoffed as he pushed himself upright with great difficulty. Once seated on the ground, he looked up at her with equal parts mockery and amusement.
At this point, he and the others understood they had followed the wrong person.
Or rather, she had made them follow her.
Whatever her reason was, they should’ve known better.
"I just need some transport to get me from point A to point B," she said, continuing to check the seats while standing outside the vehicle. "You guys are going to help me."
"Are you out of your mind?" the man laughed. "Even if you kill me, I will not—"
The rest of his words were shoved straight back down his throat as a click sounded, followed by a loud bang echoing through the air.
His eyes widened in shock as he stared at the smoke curling from the pistol she’d stolen, now aimed directly at him.
A second later, blood dripped down his cheek as the bullet barely grazed his skin.
"Be careful what you wish for," she warned. "I’m not called a genie for no reason."
The man shut up instantly. Those lying on the ground exchanged glances before deciding to play dead. He was the leader, so he could do the talking.
"If you want to die, then die," Lola continued as she paused, feeling a button underneath the seat. She smirked and glanced at him. "You’re going to die either way with how flimsy your job was. Even if you deliver the wrong thief to the bosses, they’d still kill you with skills like these."
After all, Lola understood Ravah—and how things moved here, especially when something big happened. What she had done in this place had surely shifted things in ways she and Haji could never have predicted.
She trusted Billionaire, but not that much.
In other words, she immediately recognized people like this group for what they were: bottom feeders. The lowest tier of Ravah’s structure, hoping to climb the ladder through sheer luck.
Unfortunately, luck didn’t exist here.
No one survived this place by luck. And no one climbed the ladder with it.
"Get up now," she said as she pulled something out from the bottom compartment, then smiled. "We have to move."
"Ah, shit..." one of the men on the ground hissed, pressing his face into the dirt as if that would somehow hide him. Even though he was clearly visible.
Those who had been unconscious inside the truck groaned as they began to stir, wincing in pain. When they looked down, all they saw was a tight rope tied around their wounded legs.
"Fuck—" one of them froze when he noticed Lola standing right in front of him. "..."
"You’re not going to die," she said. "I’ll drop you off at the nearest hospital—promise."
"..." The man slowly looked up, searching for his boss. "Boss—"
"Come on now, people!" Lola clapped her hands. "Let’s move—double time!"
The entire group was clearly reluctant. There was no way they wanted to help this woman, even after she explained her plans. So they played along—for a moment—then tried to turn things around.
But luck was never on their side.
Instead, they found themselves beaten up for the second time.
And so, in the end, they complied with her demands.
Talk about bad luck!
Instead of taking her hostage, they ended up becoming hers.
