The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 680: Seeing a Psychologist
The PE class ended in the blink of an eye.
The two of them casually bought two pieces of bread to make do, and then took a cab to the psychological clinic where Holly had been receiving treatment.
On the way, Damian Knight suddenly called.
Summer answered, only to hear Damian Knight ask: "Want to have lunch together? I’m just inspecting near your school."
Summer was surprised to find that even just hearing Damian Knight’s voice made her heart race, like riding a roller coaster.
She swallowed hard and looked at the sleeping Holly next to her, saying: "No, I’m having lunch with a classmate."
"Which classmate? The one you brought breakfast for?"
Summer said speechlessly, "Did I bring breakfast? Wasn’t that eaten by you?"
"So, it must be her then." Damian Knight’s tone was complex and he said lightly, "Sometimes I should buy her a meal, to thank her for taking care of you at school."
But listening to his tone, Summer inexplicably felt that Damian Knight was making a veiled threat.
Was it her misconception?
Summer lightly cleared her throat and said: "I’ll invite her and two other classmates to our place for a meal someday. I’ll let you know in advance. Maybe tidy up a bit, it’s not good for them to find out we’re living together."
On the other end of the line, Damian Knight’s aura suddenly turned cold.
The mall manager nearby was trembling.
Everything was fine just now, why has he suddenly turned sullen?
On the call, Summer only heard Damian Knight say a muffled "Oh," then said "I have to go," and quickly hung up.
Summer was bewildered.
Everything seemed fine, why did it feel like he was angry?
Just then, the driver turned his head and reminded, "Young lady, we’re almost there. Remember to take your belongings."
"Okay." Summer reached out gently to wake Holly, "Holly, we’re almost there."
Just as she finished speaking, the car pulled over to stop.
"I accidentally fell asleep... Let’s get off, Sadie."
Friendship among girls deepens quickly, and after spending a PE class together, Holly already knew Summer’s nickname.
"Alright." Summer got off first, lifting her eyes to see a sign that read "Mayo Psychological Health Clinic."
"This is it, let’s go in. Dr. Mayo is really nice."
Summer nodded and followed Holly inside.
A nurse came forward to greet them, and upon seeing Holly, her smile deepened.
"Holly, here to see Dr. Mayo?"
Holly shook her head and said, "It’s not me today, it’s my friend."
Holly spoke as she pointed to Summer beside her.
The nurse looked at Summer, hesitated for two seconds, then suddenly said, "You’re Summer Monroe, right?"
Summer asked in confusion, "You know me?"
"Who doesn’t know the ambassador of divine looks from the Midnight Coffee House? I’m a fan of yours! I didn’t expect to meet you here. Can you sign an autograph for me later?"
Summer scratched her head, not expecting to have fans, and said a bit embarrassedly, "Sure..."
The three of them chatted as they headed to Dr. Mayo’s office.
The nurse went in to explain the situation and then came out to say to Summer, "Miss Monroe, Dr. Mayo would like to see you. Holly, I’ll take you to the waiting room for some tea. I’ve just made some fresh jasmine tea, let me brew some for you to try."
Holly nodded, reassuring Summer not to be nervous, and then followed the nurse away.
Actually, Summer wasn’t nervous at all; she was just curious about what was going on with herself.
"Knock, knock, knock." Summer knocked on the door, and inside came a kindly voice saying, "Come in."
Summer pushed the door open and found it was a foreign doctor.
