The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 410: Be Extra Careful!
Finn Ford quickly caught up with Summer Monroe, who was the first to leave the classroom.
Under a glance from Ronan Kingston, Finn called out to Summer and asked, "Hey, we’re planning to grab a late snack. You want to join?"
Summer shook her head and said, "No, I think I’ll pass. I plan to head back to the dorm and sort out my stuff. Haven’t unpacked my suitcase yet."
"Alright then." Finn waved his phone slightly, "Let’s exchange contacts. If anyone gives you trouble, just call us anytime."
Ronan didn’t say anything but nodded in agreement.
Summer smiled, "Don’t worry, no one will dare mess with us. But if someone gives you guys trouble, call me."
As she spoke, she handed over her phone and exchanged numbers with Ronan and Finn.
After doing this, she started walking towards the dormitory building again.
The dorm is for two people. Speaking of which, she doesn’t know who her other roommate is yet. It’s just as well to go back and meet them. If she plans to stay here longer to see if she can retrieve any memories, it’s better to get along well with her roommate.
The dormitory building is a bit far from the teaching building. Summer wasn’t in a rush and continued walking leisurely, taking in the view of the campus night as she walked.
Suddenly, a tall figure blocked her path.
"Hey there!"
Summer looked up to see someone with a red armband that had "Student Council" printed on it.
Summer stopped and asked, "Is there something you need?"
The other person introduced himself, "I’m the president of the student council here. My name is Leo Cheney. You’re Summer Monroe, right?"
Summer nodded, unsure why the student council president was looking for her. Could it be that they wanted her to join?
Summer casually replied, "I’m not joining the student council."
"No, that’s not it." The other person swallowed and said, "I’m here to warn you about something. There’s someone named Rachel Ross in your class, right?"
Summer nodded and asked, "Yes, what about her?"
Leo said, "When I was leaving the cafeteria tonight, I overheard Rachel talking on the phone, saying she wants to get someone to teach you a lesson. I went to your class right after to find you, but they said you had already left. So I figured you might head back to the dorm and came looking for you on the way..."
Summer furrowed her brows, "She wants to teach me a lesson?"
Leo made a sound of agreement and said, "Try not to walk alone at night from now on. In the day, it’s not so bad since there are people everywhere at school. But just be careful to stay safe... I overheard her saying ’scratch her face’ in the call, so you have to be really careful!"
Summer nodded slightly and said, "Thank you for the warning. I understand."
"Let me walk you back to the dorm then. I have to check the guys’ dorm next door anyway. This path has the fewest people, not sure why you chose it of all things."
Leo said and started walking ahead.
Rachel Ross and Willow Grant are pushing his limits, and he’s not going to let them have their way.
If he catches Rachel doing anything against school rules, he’d be the first to report it to the school!
Summer didn’t refuse, not because she feared Rachel’s people, but because if they came for her and she accidentally went too hard on them, she wouldn’t be able to stay in this school anymore.
She still wanted to stay longer to search for memories about her mom.
The two of them walked in silence, one ahead, one following, until they reached the front of the girls’ dormitory building.
Leo stopped and turned to Summer, intending to give a few more reminders, but ended up staring as he saw her face clearly under the light.
With looks like this, it indeed easily incites jealousy among girls...
And with such looks, he realized how he truly didn’t dare have any thoughts about someone like Summer, who’s on this level of beauty.
"Thank you." Summer’s voice broke through Leo’s thoughts.
Leo snapped back to reality, awkwardly smiled, and said, "I’ll be off then. Stay safe, and if there’s any trouble, find anyone with a red arm sleeve like mine. I’ll let them know to help you."
"Alright, I got it. Thanks a lot."
"No problem, no problem." Leo waved his hand, knowing it’s best not to linger by the girls’ dormitory, and turned to walk toward the boys’ dorm.
Summer watched Leo leave, just about to head into the girls’ dorm when a familiar person approached her.
