Chapter 731: Chapter 772: Be Careful Not to Go Downhill Before Thirty

"Annoying!"

As they brushed past each other, Sienna Johnson intentionally bumped him with her elbow, but Adrian Desmond, tall and strong, stood unflinchingly.

Adrian only felt a numbing sensation at his waist. The single word she uttered carried a hint of reproach, tinged with a woman’s coquettishness and tenderness. His body reacted almost immediately.

Watching her figure recede into the distance, Adrian grew increasingly hot and bothered. An inner yearning drove him, and he strode quickly after her.

Sienna walked very slowly, not because she was intentionally waiting for Adrian, but because she was heavily pregnant and needed to be cautious with every step.

Adrian soon caught up with her and swept her up by the waist. Startled, Sienna quickly hugged his neck.

"What are you doing?"

"I want to do you!"

"Don’t!"

Adrian carried her into the rockery, found a leafy and secluded spot, held her close, and began kissing her. Sienna struggled, but couldn’t match his strength. "...I can’t breathe..."

He then became much gentler, kissing her tenderly, his breath heavy. The sensual atmosphere around them thickened.

Although it didn’t seem like anyone was around, Sienna knew that many areas of the Desmond Family residence were guarded by unseen guards. She wasn’t so uninhibited as to engage in such activities with Adrian where others could potentially witness them.

"You’re soft all over. What are you made of?" he asked hoarsely.

Recalling the man’s frenzy the previous night, Sienna couldn’t help but say, "If you keep indulging your lust like this, you’ll be on a downhill path before you’re thirty."

Hearing this, Adrian’s eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn’t stoop to arguing with her. Instead, he teased, "If you want it, just say so. No need for reverse psychology. But you’re pregnant now; even if you’re thinking about it, you need to exercise some restraint... Once you’ve delivered the baby, I’ll satisfy you thoroughly..."

His words grew increasingly suggestive, his tone making it seem as if Sienna was desperate for him, which annoyed her enough to make her kick him.

"Shameless!"

Adrian gave her a captivating smile. "Mrs. Desmond, since you want it so badly, I’ll satisfy you right now... Don’t worry, I’m well-endowed and skilled. I’ll definitely make you feel good."

Sienna was furious. She tried to knee him in his most vulnerable spot, but Adrian used one leg to pin her down.

"Let go of me!"

"No!"

"What do you think you’re doing?"

"Can we stop fighting, please?"

"Fine!"

Sienna agreed readily, and Adrian, delighted, called out, "Sienna..."

Taking advantage of his momentary distraction, Sienna ducked like a slippery fish and slid out from under his arm. Adrian knew he couldn’t push her too hard, so he let her go.

"I’ll be waiting for you in my room. Come back soon," Adrian shouted after her. Sienna’s face flushed red.

This man speaks without any filter! If anyone overheard what he just said, who knows what they’d think?

As if a wild beast were chasing her, Sienna hurried away without a backward glance, heading towards Lucas Robertson’s quarters. Lucas had accompanied them on this trip.

Lucas Robertson was one of Sienna’s trusted subordinates. In Abyanabad, Lucas was the only person she could truly rely on.

Once free of Adrian, Sienna slowed her pace, treating the walk as a leisurely post-meal stroll.

When Sienna found Lucas, he was browsing the internet.

Lucas was quite surprised to see Sienna at this hour.

He grabbed a T-shirt from the back of his chair, slipped it on, and then said to Sienna, "Madam, what brings you here so late?"

"What are you doing?" Sienna walked over and saw that Lucas was online shopping. The page was filled with wedding supplies.

"I never imagined you’d be into online shopping."

"I only recently learned how from Samara."

Sienna gave Lucas a knowing look, and he flushed slightly. "Kiki’s belly is getting big. I want to have the wedding as soon as possible. I can’t let my son be born illegitimate. Madam, when the time comes, we’ll need your help. Kiki and I don’t have any elders. Do you think... your grandmother could comb Kiki’s hair for the ceremony?"

This was a custom in Abyanabad: during a wedding, the eldest female elder in the family would comb the bride’s hair for good luck, somewhat similar to wedding customs in Orienta.

"My grandmother loves being involved in such things; she’ll definitely agree. Besides, it’s a joyous occasion. You’ve never been married, so you lack experience. Leave the wedding preparations to Uncle Desmond. Adolph Desmond organized both Adrian’s and Melanie Carpenter’s weddings, so he’s very experienced, to say the least."

Lucas guessed. Sienna must have argued with Adrian again, or else she wouldn’t be talking like this.

"Adolph Desmond is so busy; I’m afraid he won’t have time for my trivial matters. I should handle the wedding preparations myself."

"Then tell him to put his other tasks aside!"

Sienna spoke with the full authority of the lady of the house. After some thought, Lucas agreed to Sienna’s arrangement. He truly was inept at planning weddings, and he still needed to book a hotel.

Their wedding was set for Abyanabad’s Flower Festival. It was an auspicious day, so many people got married then, and most of the good hotels were already fully booked. Even if he had the money, he wouldn’t be able to secure a reservation.

He was good at gathering information, but when it came to connections, he was no match for Adrian.

"Then I must thank you in advance, Madam."

"I consider Kiki a sister. You and Kiki have helped me so much during these difficult years; I think of you both as family. I may not have said it, but I’ve always kept your kindness in my heart..." Sienna said, looking at Lucas with emotion in her eyes.

"Madam, did you and the Sixth Master have a fight?"

Sienna looked at Lucas in surprise. "Is it that obvious?"

"Yes."

Sienna chuckled softly and decided not to hide it from him. "Lucas, you must have heard the rumors. Yesterday at the Carpenter family’s place, someone drugged Adrian... An aphrodisiac! And not just any ordinary kind; it was very potent. If I had been the one to help Adrian with the drug yesterday, I’d probably be in the hospital today."

Lucas stared at Sienna in shock. "Does that mean last night the Sixth Master and another woman...?"

"No! Don’t jump to conclusions."

"Then why is Madam angry?"

Sienna was known for her fierce jealousy. So, if the Sixth Master hadn’t touched another woman, what could she possibly be angry about?

Sienna looked at Lucas and asked, "Tell me, who do you think is the most likely culprit for drugging Adrian at the Carpenter family’s residence yesterday?"

Lucas mentally reviewed everyone in the Carpenter family before saying a name, "Melanie Carpenter!"

"I also suspect it was Melanie Carpenter!"

"What does the Sixth Master say?"

Sienna scoffed. "What can he say? She’s his precious little cousin. Forget drugging him with an aphrodisiac; even if she poisoned him, I doubt he’d do anything to Melanie Carpenter."

Lucas, not wanting them to argue, spoke up for Adrian. "...The Sixth Master is just being cautious. The matter hasn’t been fully investigated yet, has it?"
