The Assassin's Enemy Lover-Chapter 605 - Consummation
605 Consummation
Ming Ming almost disowned her own mother for that entire outfit yet here she was floating in the clouds with each step she took like a model walking on their dream run way. Ming Ming smiled happily while handing the opened box to her brother.
The rings were the same ones they wore before but they had both received an upgrade. Twin gemstones known as Dal and Dimas had been added to the rings. Dal was luminous as the moon over the cold icy mountains of Loch Ness star while Dimas was a fiery red as dazzling as the heart of the sun, the main sun in their solar system.
They weren’t just any simple gemstones but the rare viviax gemstone his ancestors found a full millennium after the Onyx federation was established.
The pair of gemstones were once one but the two-toned gemstone was broken into two parts with one being given to the royal family as tribute. Like Dal, Dimas was kept as a family heirloom as there was no reason to bring them back together as one. Now today the pair were brought together with the union of two lovers.
Only a few knew the meaning of this peculiar viviax gemstone but Zi Han had heard the story from overly romantic girls in school who were hoping to see this overrated rock reunited.
At the time he had laughed and said, “What? You wanted the late prince to marry the Marshal so that stupid love rock would be brought to completion.” The little girl had angry stomped her foot and said he would eat his words one day. His words had come to pass only that it was the marriage of the current prince, him, with the Marshal. He suddenly felt like laughing because his sarcastic response had somewhat come to pass.
Yi Chen picked up Dimas ring as he grasped Zi Han’s hand. He cleared his throat and said, “Baby...”
Zi Han who had been lost in thought came back to himself and answered softly. “Yes... husband,” he said with the word husband mouthed.
Yi Chen smiled happily his cheeks turning red. He licked his lips out of nervousness before looking into Zi Han’s eyes and saying, “I... from the moment I first met you I knew there was something there. At the time I wasn’t sure what it was but... it didn’t take me long to discover that there was a soft flame flickering in my wintry heart. Before I knew it my heart was engulfed by it and I found out that you were the source of this inexplicable feeling. Like a moth to a flame, I found myself drawn to you. I was willing to get burnt countless times in hopes that you would accept me.” 𝙛𝓇𝘦e𝙬𝑒𝚋𝒏૦ѵel. c𝒐𝚖
.....
“Now that you have accepted me and chosen to spend the rest of your life with me... I vow to love you as you love me and more through all the hardship, darkness, and pain. I will share in all your joys and accomplishments. I love you Han Han with my everything.”
“Awww.”
“So sweet.”
“That was beautiful wuwuwu.”
Words such as this followed soon after as Yi Chen placed that ring on Zi Han’s finger. Zi Han couldn’t take it anymore. Tears flowed down his face his heart, mind and soul having been stirred. He thought he could contain himself but those words echoed in his mind repeatedly stirring up his emotions again and again.
He swore he wasn’t a crybaby but he couldn’t help himself. Zi Han tried very hard to suppress it but Yi Chen saw it and so did everybody else. He wanted to explain himself so that Yi Chen wouldn’t misunderstand but before he could say anything he was suddenly pulled into a warm embrace.
Those who were just as emotional shed a tear or two and those who weren’t were either applauding or wishing they could hurry up so they could finally get to the eating part.
The familiar scent overpowered his chaotic emotions thoroughly subduing them. Zi Han finally calmed down and Yi Chen whispered into his ear asking, “Are you all better now?”
Zi Han nodded his head and Yi Chen showed a sly smile before saying, “Then let’s finish this off and quickly skip to the good part.”
Zi Han sniffled while asking, “What good part?”
Yi Chen lean in even closer his lips lightly rubbing against Zi Han’s ear through the silk fabric as he answered, “Consummation.”
Everyone, “...”
StarNet, “...”
“Woo woo woo, you do realise your voice is amplified so we can all hear you. We can all hear everything,” said Yeoh Jun and Yi Chen was as thick-skinned as a pig’s skin. There was no way he was going to be shy about it. Who here didn’t know what happens after the reception?
Well, someone didn’t and that person was little Ming Ming. She tugged Yi Chen’s sleeve and covered her mouth with her hand as though afraid someone would read her lips.
She tilted her head innocently and asked, “Dage, what is consummation?”
Yi Youxi wouldn’t miss the opportunity to cause trouble. While rubbing little Hansel’s chin while whispering to her.
“It’s in the word. Consume and consummation have the same first six letters so mean the same thing. They will consume each other and the winner will be the husband and the other the wife.”
Yi Chen, “...”
Was it bad luck to beat up a family member at your own wedding? Scratch that, was it bad luck to beat your own little brother at your wedding in front of everybody?
Ming Ming was a little surprised to hear this explanation. No wonder her mother acted like the husband and her father acted like the wife when they thought she wasn’t looking. It turns out mum beat dad at consummation.
“Oh okay,” she whispered back while smiling at her mother with a look of admiration. When she grew up she wanted to beat her partner at consummation too. Whether her partner was a boy or girl she was determined to win the consummation. Well, that would be an interesting fight to watch.
