She puzzled as she turned to look at Xu Yisen standing behind her, "Is there anything else?"

"Even though it’s quite hot outside, the air conditioning inside is still a bit cold. Do you need a handsome guy to warm up your bed?"

His lips curled into a barely perceptible wicked smile, with a hint of mischief in his slightly raised brows.

Qin Muni removed his hand from her and forced a polite smile, "No, thank you."

"Are you sure you don’t need one? It’s free."

"Yes."

Qin Muni patiently nodded, then walked into the room and was about to close the door when she suddenly heard Xu Yisen ask, "Then I wonder if I have the honor to invite you out to watch a movie later?"

"Depends on my mood."

"Not feeling good? If you want, I can do something to cheer you up, like warming your bed."

The topic seemed to circle back to warming the bed again. Qin Muni amusedly rolled her eyes and waved her hand at Xu Yisen, signaling him to leave quickly, "I’m really tired, we can mess around when I wake up."

Xu Yisen nodded, "Go rest."

Closing the door, thinking about his silly and childish words, Qin Muni couldn’t help but smile. She went to the bathroom to take a shower and then went straight to bed.

When she woke up, it was already six in the evening, having slept for most of the day.

As she got out of bed, she suddenly remembered Xu Yisen seemed to have invited her to watch a movie once she woke up.

She walked out of the room; the light in the hallway was on, Qin Muni politely knocked on Xu Yisen’s door.

A few seconds later, the door opened. Xu Yisen looked at the newly awakened Qin Muni, her face still showed some confusion from just waking up.

He unceremoniously reached out and tousled Qin Muni’s hair deliberately.

Qin Muni slightly frowned and brushed his hand away, "Don’t mess around."

"How was your sleep?"

"It was okay, I might have insomnia tonight." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Xu Yisen playfully leaned his face closer to Qin Muni, "Then tonight I’ll keep you company with my antics a bit longer."

Qin Muni couldn’t help but laugh and cry, was he accompanying her or wanting her to join him in his antics?

Xu Yisen glanced at the time on his watch and asked, "Shall we go out for dinner and then watch a movie?"

"Okay, I’ll go back and change first."

Xu Yisen nodded, and as he was about to turn back to his room, his steps paused slightly: "This is our first date after all, it should be grander."

Qin Muni amusedly rolled her eyes and joked, "How grand should it be, do I need to wear an evening dress?"

"If you accompany me to attend the Yu Jing Company’s president’s wedding the day after tomorrow, you can wear an evening dress."

Qin Muni pouted, knowing he was inviting her, but she didn’t respond, just waved her hand and went back to her room.

When both of them had changed and walked out of their rooms, they shared a knowing smile. The so-called "grand" was just Qin Muni wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and Xu Yisen wearing the same T-shirt and jeans. Their outfits couldn’t be simpler or more low-key.

As they went downstairs, Qin Muni teased with a smile, "What happened to the grandness you promised?"

Xu Yisen’s eyebrows contained the same gentle smile as he responded with mock seriousness, "Being with you, no matter where we go or what we do, is a grand event, unrelated to attire."

His words made Qin Muni chuckle, "Wow, such sweet talk, I’m not quite used to it."

"No problem, you’ll get used to it gradually. We have a long time ahead."
