The Ancient Genes-Chapter 34 - KILL (Part-2)
BANG!!
The sound of gunshot resonated in the deserted alleyway along the smell of gunpowder as the guy in front of him pulled the trigger.
Max could see the bullet leaving the muzzle of the rifle along with the smoke.
Feeling the danger and his life at stake, he pulled his body towards the right while moving his hands in an upward swing. The momentum from the swing was enough for his cause.
With all his power, he released the Dagger towards the creepy guy.
"Phuuu !"
The moment the Dagger left his hand, the bullet reached him tearing through the air.
He couldn't avoid the bullet. But the boost in his strength was enough for him to avoid any fatal blow.
"Puchi"
As He pulled my body towards the right, avoiding the hit towards his chest. The bullet embedded itself in his left arm.
It hurt like hell.
He couldn't have ever imagined that that would hurt so much. He felt like screaming. But knowing his location, he held himself back.
"Thud."
"Ahhhh!!!!"
Hearing the scream, Max looked forward to find the tall creepy looking guy screaming at the top of his lungs with the Dagger embedded in his chest and his rifle on the ground.
'Shit!'
Max couldn't let him scream any longer.
Ignoring the pain while gritting his teeth, he made a mad dash towards the guy, planning to tackle him down.
Seeing him dash, the guy tried to reach out to his rifle.
"No you don't."
Before he could even bend, Max was already below him.
"BAM."𝗳𝘳𝒆𝘦𝑤𝐞𝚋𝗻𝚘𝘷𝘦𝙡.𝑐𝐨𝘮
He tackled him down with all his strength as blood flew out of his mouth, smearing all over him.
But at this point, Max didn't have the liberty to care about his appearance.
Taking him down, he pulled the Dagger out of his chest and stabbed through his windpipe giving him a final blow.
"Huff.."
Max let out a sigh of relief.f𝗿𝗲e𝒘e𝚋n૦𝘃𝙚𝑙.com
But very soon, his hands started to tremble as he realised his actions a few minutes ago.
Looking at his trembling hands, he couldn't help but curse.
He thought he was prepared for it.
He clenched his hands into a fist.
He didn't regret what he did. That was his life now. There will be such battles all along. That was the last time.
'I won't waver again.'
