The Hidden Moon Commander led his people outside the Dragon Vein, where they formed a tight defensive perimeter to guard the entire area.
Inside the Dragon Vein, Elder Wan began to form seals, starting the process of cracking the Array.

The woman in white frowned, and Elder Wan paused, his own brow furrowing. "What’s going on?" he asked.

The battle erupted instantly, its brutality apparent from the very first clash.
The Azure Tiger Dragon General and the Flying Dragon General charged into the fray. The Marshals and Centurions under their command quickly mobilized as well. Generals faced generals and soldiers fought soldiers, each warrior seeking out their counterpart on the opposing side.
From a distance, Lin Xuan and the others watched the unfolding chaos. The Greenhill Dragon General explained quietly, "Let’s wait. The battle has only just begun. The Hidden Moon Country still has experts who haven’t arrived. Once they are all drawn into the fight, we can sneak into the Dragon Vein."

The Hidden Moon Commander breathed a sigh of relief. But just then, the Dragon Commander waved his hand, and another contingent charged in from a distance. It was the squad from the Imperial City. With their arrival, the strength of the Dragon’s Roar Legion swelled once again, and they began to suppress the soldiers of the Hidden Moon Country.

"Retreat! Quickly, retreat!" The Hidden Moon Commander had no choice but to give the order to fall back.
"Withdraw!" his Generals roared from the ground below. The entire army began to retreat while fending off attacks.
"Press the advantage! Kill them all! Leave no one alive!" the Dragon Commander ordered. Below, the Dragon’s Roar Warriors surged forward, relentlessly pursuing the retreating Hidden Moon forces.
More and more Hidden Moon Warriors fell, and the Hidden Moon Commander’s eyes turned bloodshot. "Damn it! Are you trying to wipe us out completely? Do you really think the Hidden Moon Country is defenseless?" he roared. "Keep summoning our men!"
But a General below yelled back in desperation, "Commander, there’s no one left to summon!"
"How is that possible?" the Commander roared. They had only brought two-thirds of their army; there should still be one-third of their experts available!
"Commander, you’ve forgotten! They’re all at the Dragon Vein!"
Damn it! The Hidden Moon Commander gritted his teeth so hard they nearly shattered. Only then did he remember that a large number of his elite forces were gathered to guard the Dragon Vein.
When the Dragon Commander overheard this, he raised an eyebrow. He immediately gave an order: press the attack at all costs.
