Tang San's Twin Sister-Chapter 207
"Asura King won another match." A cold, gloomy female voice said. Standing in front of an imposing chair inlaid with dark crystals.
"I know." The man sitting on the chair said.
"Great King. Should we not start to contract him? Slaughter City hasn't had a true power join it for quite some time."
"Do you truly believe him a power worthy of it?" The tall man asked the woman, and she shrugged.
"In technique, he is. Asura King almost seems to be born for it. His spirit power is not outstanding or strong, but his technique...he rivals blood Pagoda; in fact, he uses the same techniques she does, just far more advanced, and hers are already frightening. I doubt even a Titled Douluo could take him here, without the use of spirit power, and we know that he has at least one spirit bone."
The tall man, Slaughter King, turned silent for a moment.
"Do you believe he can complete the one hundred matches and challenge Hell Road?" 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
"It is a matter of time for him to win one hundred times, Hell Road, he might fail to do."
"No need to contract him, " the Slaughter King then concluded. "I am more interested in contracting Blood Pagoda."
"Why? I mean, we want Slaughter City to be more powerful. We might have a pact with Spirit Hall, but for how long will they keep to it? No one knows."
"Spirit Hall is not the issue right now." The slaughter king said his voice was even more chilling. "We had a visitor about a few months ago, you remember?"
"A visitor?"
"One of the two surviving Deathgods of this age."
"Are Asura King and the Deathgod related?" The ice-cold woman shuddered, her eyes wide as she came to that realisation; it was an actual possibility. A frightening one, too.
"Yes. Spirit Hall is not a true threat to us. Those two deathgods are. They even I cannot even offend. They can use spirit power here; they have passed hell road, so they are not restricted by the limitations of others here in Slaughter City. Asura King is related to the most terrifying of the two Death Gods, and I also suspect that Blood Pagoda might have something to do with them. She and Asura King have been seen together often enough. One might even say they are friends. I do not want to offend either God or death, so we leave them in peace and let Nature take its course. It is for the best."
"My Lord...I fear for our city then. Each Deathgod brings unforeseen consequences and harms us. It was so every time, without fail...if there is another time, much less two or three, I fear..."
The slaughter King sighed, lowering his voice.
"I have thought about this as well. But it is not only Asura King and Blood Pagoda but also Hell Emissary...all three of them. If not for this, do you think I would allow any of those three to continue being and exist here?"
"How about this then. Let them face each other. Hell Emissary, Asura King and Blood Pagoda." She had not even managed to finish her sentence when two cold red lights emitted from the Slaughter King. The air becomes thicker, the scent of blood heavier. The icy woman screeched, an inhuman cry being wrenched from her throat as her delicate body shook and convulsed.
"Don't assume you can assume whatever you want just because I dote on you." The man released a terrifying power. "Having passed Hell road, the Deathgods can return to Slaughter City whenever they want. It is also a rule that anyone who has reached more than fifty victories they are not allowed to face each other. Should any of the deathgods learn of us breaking our own rules in such a way, it will be a far greater catastrophe. With their domain, any spirit master here will recover the use of their spirit power. Why do you think I cooperate with them? For fun?" He growled. The woman slacked to the ground.
"We can only hope that they will be unable to persist and walk the road. Two more theath gods would be a disaster, three would bring us to the brink of existence."
