Tang San's Twin Sister-Chapter 145
Shrek Academy
Tang San fell to his knees, and in front of him, his opponent stopped in his tracks.
"Hey, you wussy, stand up, don't..."
He felt his entire consciousness ripped from his mind when he noticed the faint rose color from Xiao Wu in front of him interfering. His vision swam as he let out a dry, strangled sound that could not be defined.
"Just hold up, you Orangutang Grandfather!" Wu thundered, her spirit power flashing as Tang San felt a pair of strong arms catch him. The voice of Dai Mubai in his ears was distant and muted.
"Tang San, Tang San, what is wrong?" it asked him, and he wanted to answer, but his voice was gone. His hearing was fuzzy, and his entire right arm felt as if it were on fire.
"Y-Yin," He wrenched out while he felt his consciousness fading. Xiao Wus's worried face was the last thing he saw.
Dai Mubai lifted up the unconscious Tang San. "Whatever you want, you blasted morons, you can deal with it later." He thundered at Tang Sans opponents and then completely ignored them. He carried Tag San away with Xiao Wu running after him.
"Boss, what is wrong?" she asked him, and Mubai gritted his teeth.
"Tang Yin, something must be wrong with Tang Yin." He said. "That's the only thing I can think about. You know how to feel when the other is in severe pain or danger."
"I know, it has happened before, but not like this. Usually, Tang San just has a bad feeling. Or maybe a sleepless night." she muttered, pale as a sheet when she saw Ning Feng come running in the distance. She was still wearing training gear, covered in grime. Feng had specialized training hence she usually skipped morning theory classes taking those in the evening and using the morning for combat training.
"S-San?" She asked, worried, her eyes large.
"Something must be wrong with Yin," Mubai said again, laying the unconscious Tang San on a bench.
"B-But...?" Ning Feng left the rest of the sentence open. But essentially asking what all of them were asking themselves. What could have happened to Tang Yin was so drastic that it downed Tang San half and continued away.
Suddenly, Tang San cried as he jerked upwards. "Yin, " he said, panting. "Tang Yin... she."
"What happened?" Xiao Wu asked, hugging Tang san tightly and her body trembling.
"Yin...Pain. I don't know. It just hit me..." He said, hugging Xiao Wu back and burying his head in her shoulder. "Damn my sister, can't she stay out of trouble for once."
The grandmaster stopped by him and frowned. "I do not think her intention was trouble." He then said, "It could be she is completing one of her exams. The sea god trials are dangerous and often life-threatening. Considering Tang Yin's considerable talent and aptitude, she will have to complete exams of appropriate difficulty. Those are often more dangerous than the smaller ones, but also bring a lot of benefit."
Tang San stared at the grandmaster. "What use are those benefits if she suffers enough to down me as well?" he asked, his voice raspy and dry.
"Is she still alive?" the grandmaster asked, and he listened for a while to the connection with his twin, the buzzing feeling in the back of his head that had always been there.
"Yes." He then said with certainty he hardly believed himself. Tang Yin was still alive. That he knew.
"Good. Do not worry; your sister is many things, but not one to throw away her own life. Pain is one thing as long as..."
"I know." Tang San huffed before gritting his teeth. He may not like it, but he felt too for Yin right now. "Say, can one of you call over Jiang?" He asked them, wobbling back on his feet with Xiao Wu's support. The gut-wrenching pain is gone. They all looked at each other.
Their mystery member of Shreks Devils was an enigma who was where he wanted when he wanted, and frankly more like a guest that came and left as he wanted. It went so far that even the headmaster had given up on catching Jiangs scaled dragon tail when the young man said he was off doing business.
"I can," Ning Feng said, earning a surprised look from all of them. "H-He left m-me with s-something for e-emergencies."
The grandmaster gave her a long look as she shrugged her shoulders. "If it's a-about Y-Yin, he w-will come." She said, stuttering more than usual under his gaze, then took out a small gem, breaking it in half. "H-He will notice."
"I suggest you don't show that to Flender. He will probably haunt you for that." The grandmaster pointed out, after all, that the headmaster was truly like a hound after Jiang, whose spirit power at this point had surpassed level forty. Amongst all of them, Jiang's talent was the strongest.
Flender had only given up right now because he had no way to get ahold of him. If he knew that there was a call sign...well all of them could imagine what would happen.
To their eternal surprise, Jiang was actually walking around them completely relaxed just a few seconds later. His shirt was colored in silvery grey, and he wore loose black pants, his long black hair freely trailing after him, wearing a cocky grin on his face.
Half of the women in Shrek were, in one way or another, fascinated as he blew them air kisses before stopping in front of Tang San. Gazing at Ning Feng.
"I gave you that call me Crystal for emergencies, and when I am not at the academy, not as a come here when I am barely two blocks..."
"Something happened to Yin." Tang San interrupted him, and Jiang shut up. Then he turned around to the grandmaster, his dazzling smile gone, and his expression switched to a serious one. "Please. I have to know what happened. You are faster enough...and..." Tang San left the rest unsaid.
None of his earlier frivolity left Jiang growled.
"Inform Flender, please. I am on my way to Sea God Island. " He turned on his heel and marched away.
Dai Mubai snorted. "I didn't even know he could switch this fast. It's incredible to watch." fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
"She is important to him." Tang San noted. "Probably more than both of us know." It was a fact he did not like at all, but he knew. For all of Jiangs suspicious behavior and shady motives, whatever they may be. He cared. He cared for Ning Feng and Xiao Wu, and, more importantly, he cared a lot for Tang Yin.
The grandmaster stared in the direction Jiang had left. "Flender will not be happy he is gone this short before the continental spirit master tournament."
"W-We will manage." Ning Feng said with a shrug of her shoulders. "W-With s-some luck, h-he brings Yin a-along." She smiled.
"Well, if he pulls that off, we will surprise you." The Ggrandmastersighed. "For all we know, Yin has already surpassed level 40 by far."
Dai Mubai let out a barking laugh. They all were aware. Yin was probably already way past level 40.
