Tang San's Twin Sister-Chapter 134
Tang Yin had no Idea what Damian and Gale planned on doing, but when she stood by her passage boat.
She knew there had to be something.
Mustering the harbor around her to glimpse what they might have planned.
The Sailboat that Uncle Jian had reserved was called The Tide. It was not the biggest around but imposing nevertheless. She swallowed at seeing the giant Shark figure at the helm and the two masts towering into the sky. The takelage was also bigger than the one she knew from the trade ship before. The crew on it busying around Tang Yin turned to Uncle Jian, who stood there like usual as if there was no difference between this and going on a walk.
Swallowing hard, she felt the anticipation inside her rise. Now, things were about to get serious. She felt her hands twitch with the urge to draw the tide so she wouldn't forget this ship.
Then, she encountered the keen gaze of an old woman standing further in the distance, who observed them. She was leaning heavily on a walking stick, her eyes glowing and a smile on her lips. She wanted to say something for a moment when Uncle Jian planted his hand on her shoulder.
"Let us go, student." He said, and she followed him.
On board, she was greeted by the crew, who all behaved like they were walking on eggshells before the anchor was released. They slowly made their way out into the open sea towards Haishen.
The ship was calmly rocking as the harbor behind them slowly vanished.
Yin climbed up the ropes on the sides to look at the land a touch longer as it vanished in the blue. She had been able to say goodbye to Madame Ning and the others she had been traveling with, but now it was just Uncle Jian and her.
Still, the feeling that Damian and Gale might have smuggled Yu Hua on board didn't entirely vanish.
Entirely too nervous about it, she made half-sneaking half-obviously her way to explore the ship. Uncle Jian merely obeyed her as he decided to take out a book and enjoy the sun while reading a bit.
"I do not think that your friend has been smuggled on board, " he pointed out after a while, and Tang Yin looked at him.
"I am ready to suspect almost anything when Damian and Gale have a Plan. I would not put it past them to have managed to smuggle Yu Hua on board."
"Alright. If they really have, I will consider myself impressed." He shook his head and then continued to focus on his book. Tang Yin continued to soop around, eventually making her way into the cargo bay. The boxes were stocked to the ceiling and secured by straps and ropes.
She peeked around, climbing on the boxes and using her small frame to worm her way through the cargo when she spotted a slip of white fabric between them.
"No Way." She muttered and then sneaked forward and lay there like snow white, and with a letter on top of him lay Yu Hua. Pale-faced and unconscious. She held her hand beneath his nose and noted he was sleeping.
"How?" she muttered in disbelief. "Gods those two." She picked up the letter.
For Tang Yin, or in case she hasn't found you, Yu Hua.
We are not sorry.
Tang Yin started laughing and then opened the letter. Inside was a single sheet of paper and a legal-looking ticked passage. On the ticked was attached a note saying, "For Tang Yin," and on the paper was written, "For Yu Hua."
She put the paper back and then started laughing. Now, how was she supposed to get her friend out of here? He was a bit too big to carry around. Although she would probably manage, she looked around and saw the Plane. Laying down the Plane, she picked up Yu Hua and then laid him on top of it before grabbing the edges of it, shouldering them, and dragging the sleeping Yu Hua after her.
The door to the outside was still open, so she tilted her head. "Uncle Jian!" she shouted, knowing she would hear her. Uncle Jian came shortly later and looked at her, and she pointed at the sleeping Yu Hua. "You can consider yourself impressed."
Uncle Jian shook his head in disbelief as he spotted Yu Hua. Then he climbed down to pick up the sleeping teenager and brought him outside, causing the surrounding workers to gasp with surprise as he laid him on the ground.
"I told you I would put little past them." She bragged to Uncle Jian about her friends.
"May I ask who that is?" The Captain came closer and eyed Yu Hua.
"My friend." Tang Yin answered him. "Who was, as I suspect. Drugged to sleep and then somehow smuggled upon this ship by his two best friends after they made me promise that if he mysteriously appeared, I would not turn the ship around but take him along." She held up the ticked. "He even had a passage ticket." novelbuddy.cσ๓
The Captain took it and then shook his head in disbelief. "That's a genuine one." He said. "Or an excellent forgery. Why would your friend's best friends do that?"
"I think they did it to help him." She shrugged her shoulders. "Or kick his ass about a few things."
The Captain snorted, "He will be furious once he wakes up." He shot an angry look at a few members of his crew who were probably responsible for security.
"I guess so." She shrugged her shoulders. "But for now, I'd get him somewhere comfortable to sleep at."
Then she watched how Uncle Jian picked him up in a princess carry. "Go ahead, I'll bring him along, " he said, and Tang Yin led them to her bedroom, where he was put down, and then closed the door.
Tang Yin ran towards the back, and despite knowing they couldn't hear her, she shouted in the direction of the harbor. "Alright, I'm going to keep that promise!"
Then she turned around and looked at Uncle Jian. "Let's do some sparring, " she declared. "If Yu Hua is here, it means I need to pick up any possible slack, or else hell catch up."
"Will he?"
"Of course." She huffed and then took out her wooden swords.
It was evening, almost dinner time, when Yu Hua came from the room, holding his head, looking like someone had run over him and in a mood that could not have been any darker. He looked around, grunted, walked towards the sea, and looked into the distance. To his credit, he did not lose it; factually, he didn't say anything but remained silent.
"Are you fine?" Yin asked him, but he did not look at her; in fact, he completely ignored her.
After a while, he looked at her.
"No, I am angry." He stated. "Idiots." Then he turned towards the sea and screamed. "You blasted di*headed morons!"
