- Class S.
Class S was not merely a gathering of geniuses. It was a convergence of bloodlines, legacies, and anomalies.
Descendants of ancient Magician Families.
Scions of royalty.
Descendant of ancient tribes.
Nonhuman beings who walked among humanity.
Some had been trained from the moment they could stand.
Others were simply born gifted, children who, even without effort, were destined to surpass countless others.
Yet even among them, there existed anomalies.
Individuals who possessed background, lineage, talent, and relentless effort, all at once.
They were the D'Archy siblings.
Because of that, without lifting a finger…Without saying a single word... They would always stand at the center of attention, wherever they went.
"Is that the D'Archy siblings?"
"With just one glance, you can tell they're different"
"I heard they saved a lot of people during the trial"
"Yeah. A friend of mine was there. They said the five of them fought together and took down a massive beast"
A brief pause.
"…Wanna try?"
"Try what?"
"You know. Fight one of them"
"…Are you insane?"
"There's no harm in trying, right? Besides, look at that. Those three princesses… Even if we lose, at least we'll leave an impression. Who knows? Something might happen~"
"Whatever. Just don't drag us into it"
"Hmph. Cowards"
That was what the boys whispered among themselves when the D'Archy siblings entered the classroom. Their gazes lingered especially on Anindha, Litani, and Kiara.
As for the girls…
"Hey… look at Prince Askara"
"Even when he looks completely unbothered, he's still handsome"
"Do you think… I'd have a chance?"
"Keep dreaming, girls~"
"But honestly, I lean more toward Prince Anggana"
"Even his occasional sighs… those droopy eyes of his… They're kind of hot~"
"H-Hey, look. Someone's approaching them"
"…Are they seeking death?"
"No. Probably just some boys desperate for attention"
---
"Hi. I'm Varik Iceborn, from the Great Northern Tribe"
Varik stood tall, nearly two meters in height, his muscles stretching his uniform to its limits as if the fabric might tear at any moment.
"Fight Me!!"
Silence.
Not a single one of the D'Archy siblings reacted.
Askara continued gazing out the window, eyes fixed on the sky beyond.
Anggana was fast asleep, head resting against his hand.
Anindha calmly turned a page of her book.
Litani and Kiara whispered to one another, utterly uninterested.
"…Did you not hear me?!" Varik barked, veins bulging. "I SAID... FIGHT ME!!"
*BAM!*
His fist slammed into the desk.
"Huh…?" Anggana muttered, lifting his head groggily. "What's with the noise…?"
"FIGHT M-"
"Scram," The word cut through the room. Askara finally turned his gaze toward Varik and the boys behind him, his eyes calm, almost bored. "Go play somewhere else"
"What did you just say to me?" Varik snarled, fists clenching. "Just because you're fro-"
"Angga," Askara interrupted flatly. "You're closer. Shut up that mosquito," With that, he turned back toward the window, utterly uninterested. "... It's annoying"
"What? He's talking to you, so-"
"HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME!!"
Varik snapped.
His fist shot forward, aimed straight at Anggana's face.
"What the-" Anggana muttered.
He sighed.
Then he leaned his head back slightly, just enough for the punch to pass inches from his nose.
"!!!"
"Is it really that hard," Anggana said calmly, "to have a peaceful morning?"
His hand snapped out.
He caught Varik's wrist mid-swing.
Then he tightened his grip.
*Crack*
The sound echoed through the classroom.
"ARGHHH!!"
Varik collapsed to his knees, clutching his arm as it bent at an unnatural angle.
"Don't blame me," Anggana said lazily. "You asked for it yourself"
He glanced at the boys who had come with Varik.
"Take him to the infirmary"
They froze.
"Now"
The group scrambled into motion, lifting Varik and rushing out of the room in panic.
Anggana yawned.
Then rested his head back on his arm.
And went right back to sleep.
The classroom remained frozen.
No voices.
No movement.
No one even dared to blink.
What they had just witnessed happened too fast... and ended even faster.
The Great Northern Tribe, though not as renowned as the D'Archy family, was still one of the greatest ancient tribes in existence. A tribe that valued strength above lineage, where authority was earned through power alone.
Even the position of tribal chief was decided by combat.
Only the strongest would lead.
And Varik Iceborn, son of a High Elder, was considered one of the most promising candidates for the next chief.
His strength was unquestionable.
Yet that same Varik Iceborn had been defeated so easily.
No mana fluctuation.
No technique.
No elaborate movement.
Just a single, casual action.
And he was on his knees, screaming in pain.
"…Monster"
That word echoed silently in the minds of every student in Class S.
Fear gripped them.
And beneath it… awe.
The silence persisted until the instructor finally arrived.
"…Good morning?"
The instructor paused at the doorway, tilting his head as he surveyed the room.
He had expected discipline.
Politeness.
But this…?
They were far too quiet.
"Hall-"
Before he could finish, a commotion erupted outside.
The classroom door swung open loudly.
All eyes turned.
Varik stood there, his arm wrapped thickly in bandages, his group trailing behind him.
His expression was twisted with fury as his gaze darted around the room.
Then he noticed the instructor.
"Tch!"
Clicking his tongue, Varik turned and headed to his seat.
But before sitting down… He glanced toward the back of the classroom.
Toward the D'Archy siblings.
Toward Askara.
Toward Anggana.
And then...
Anggana's eyes turned blood-red.
Varik froze.
Those eyes weren't human.
They were the gaze of a predator.
His body screamed at him to move, to blink... to turn away. But instinct told him something else.
If you do… You die.
In that vast classroom, the world shrank. There was only Varik... And Anggana.
Then...
A hand landed on Anggana's shoulder.
"Enough, Angga," Askara's calm voice said. "I don't want to see someone, especially our classmate, pissing himself on the first day"
Anggana closed his eyes.
When he opened them again… They were blue once more.
Only then did Varik finally release the breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding.
---
- A few moments later.
The instructor's eyes moved slowly across the classroom.
He had taught Class S for several years now.
Geniuses.
Royals.
Heirs of ancient bloodlines.
Monsters wearing human skin.
Silence alone had never unsettled him, but this silence did. This wasn't the quiet of discipline or respect... It was the stillness that followed fear.
His gaze lingered on Varik Iceborn.
The boy sat stiffly in his chair, spine unnaturally straight, as if afraid to relax even for a second. One arm was wrapped in bandages, far thicker than the injury required, and his clenched jaw trembled ever so slightly.
Then the instructor noticed something else.
Varik wasn't scanning the room.
Wasn't glaring at anyone.
Wasn't even breathing evenly.
He was avoiding the back row.
Slowly, the instructor followed that invisible line of fear.
Askara D'Archy Hidayat sat by the window, posture relaxed, expression serene. His eyes were unfocused, gazing beyond the glass as though whatever lay outside mattered far more than anything inside the classroom.
Beside him.
Anggana D'Archy Hidayat.
Asleep.
No mana radiated from him.
No pressure.
No killing intent.
Nothing.
And yet… The instructor felt it. A faint residue. Like the echo left behind after a blade had already passed through flesh.
His eyes narrowed slightly.
'... So that's it'
This hadn't been a duel. There was no clash of mana. No exchange of techniques. Just a single moment... A warning.
The most dangerous kind.
The instructor exhaled softly.
"…I see." Turning toward the class, he spoke. "Before we begin," he said evenly, "let me make one thing very clear"
His voice remained calm, but carried undeniable authority.
"This is Astral Nexus Academy. Not a battlefield. Not a stage for bruised egos," His gaze flicked briefly toward Varik. "And certainly not a place where strength is measured by who swings first"
Varik flinched.
The instructor continued.
"You are all powerful. Talented. Exceptional," A pause. "But some of you…" His eyes shifted, just for an instant, to the back row. "… Have already learned something important today"
The silence deepened.
"Power does not need to announce itself"
He turned and wrote on the board.
Class S - Orientation.
"And those who fail to understand that," he added without turning around, "usually learn the hard way"
Only then did the lesson truly begin.
Behind him.
Askara continued to stare out the window.
Anggana slept peacefully.
And Varik Iceborn never once looked back again.
--------
Like at Astral Nexus Academy, something had also occurred within D'Archy Castle.
Taufik sat on the edge of the bed, awake, not because he couldn't sleep, but because he simply didn't need to.
Behind him, his wives lay sprawled across the sheets, bare skin illuminated by the light filtering through the curtains.
Their expressions were relaxed, satisfied, smiles lingering like the afterglow of a dream they had no intention of forgetting.
"…Ahh~ I missed this feeling," Taufik murmured.
He stood, a single strip of fine fabric loosely draped around his waist, and walked toward the balcony.
The sun had already climbed high into the sky. Beyond the stone railing, the sea stretched endlessly, its surface glittering under the light, waves rolling like a slow, eternal breath.
Taufik rested his arms against the railing.
He closed his eyes.
The wind brushed against his face, carrying salt, warmth, and the pulse of the world itself. Then he spoke, not aloud, but inwardly, in a language that could never be written.
A tongue shared only between an Aboriginal Being and the planet that birthed it.
It wasn't a command.
It wasn't a prayer.
It was a conversation.
Like old friends speaking after a long absence.
And the world answered.
Every tremor.
Every shift.
Every whisper hidden beneath land and sea.
Taufik listened to it all, missing nothing.
When it was done, he opened his eyes.
A faint smile curved his lips.
"Ehh~ so something like that happened while I was away, huh?" he murmured. "…Interesting~"
Then...
A voice echoed inside his mind.
Not the familiar tone of The System.
But a woman's voice.
Gentle. Playful. Intimately familiar.
"…Hubby~ can you hear me?"
Taufik's smile deepened slightly.
