Sweet Wife So Charming: CEO: Hold Back Your Heart-Chapter 305: Love
"Haven’t they been fighting for years already? Since you’re worried things might not go smoothly, just let Zayne Sinclair handle it himself. We only need to hand over the evidence of Julian Sinclair’s amnesia to him and keep ourselves out of it. Even if Zayne loses, it won’t have anything to do with us."
Fiona Rhodes sneered, "Father, stop hesitating. The opportunity is now; we have to act against Julian Sinclair while we can."
"That’s my good daughter, this plan is brilliant! Brilliant!" Fiona’s father was surprised at Fiona Rhodes’s change, how she seemed to have grown so much overnight?
Fiona Rhodes curled her red lips in satisfaction, a cold glint in her eyes.
Julian Sinclair, you brought all of this upon yourself, so don’t blame me.
Meanwhile, Julian Sinclair, sitting in the first-class cabin of the plane, sneezed heavily. Moira Young showed concern: "Uncle, what’s wrong? Are you catching a cold?"
Julian Sinclair shook his head: "It’s nothing."
"According to the time, we should still have five hours left. Do you want to sleep some more?" Moira Young looked at her watch and then at Julian Sinclair.
"No need." Julian Sinclair shook his head again.
Moira Young saw he didn’t want to sleep, so she smiled at him: "If you’re not sleeping, I will. Five hours is such a long time, sleeping is the only way to pass it."
Julian Sinclair smiled slightly, tucking her in gently: "Okay, you sleep some more."
Maybe it was because Moira Young had a slight cold; after taking medicine, she felt especially sleepy. Just lying down, she soon fell into a sound sleep, her breaths even.
Julian Sinclair gazed at Moira Young’s sleeping face, his eyes full of affection.
She was right there, yet he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
Five hours later, the plane landed smoothly. Moira Young woke up early and followed Julian Sinclair out.
She sighed: "Adrian really is something, leaving us with all this luggage while he flew back on a private jet. It’s really unfair."
"Are you angry?" Julian Sinclair looked at Moira Young’s pouty little mouth and laughed.
"Of course I’m angry. Next time I see him, I’m going to give him a piece of my mind."
Moira Young was definitely not going to let this slide.
They had agreed to leave together, yet he left in such a hurry without waiting to pack his luggage, leaving everything behind.
He happily left all of it for them.
Moira Young complained all the way, her little mouth never stopped from the plane to the car.
The trip from the airport to home wasn’t far but still took about two hours.
Once in the car, Moira Young lay down on the seat, exhausted from the long flight. She couldn’t wait to get home, take a bath, and lay comfortably in her soft bed.
"Sigh...." she let out a deep sigh.
Julian Sinclair turned to her, his deep gaze falling on her slightly weary face: "What’s wrong? Is your throat still sore?"
Moira Young nodded obediently, her head moving slowly from the seat back to Julian Sinclair’s shoulder. She weakly pleaded: "Uncle, I really want Mrs. Miller’s sweet lotus seed soup."
"Alright." Julian Sinclair smiled indulgently, then took out his phone to make a call.
"But thinking of Fiona Rhodes living in our house makes me upset." Moira Young suddenly sat upright, a cold light flashing in her eyes.
Why does Fiona Rhodes keep lingering around? As an older woman, doesn’t she know what shame is?
"She’s gone." Julian Sinclair soothed, patting her head.
Moira Young was taken aback, only reacting after a while: "What?"
"The housekeeper said she left the next day." Julian Sinclair patiently explained.
"Really?" Moira Young’s eyes instantly brightened but quickly dimmed again, "What kind of trick is Fiona Rhodes up to? She insisted on staying, only to leave the next day? It’s way too strange."
Though Julian Sinclair was by her side, she never liked to think much. But Fiona Rhodes had always tangled with Julian Sinclair, constantly claiming to be his fiancée. Logically, she wouldn’t leave without seeing Julian Sinclair.
Could there be something hidden?
She looked up at Julian Sinclair’s smiling handsome face, filled with doubt: "Uncle, what do you think is going on?"
"Looks like my amnesia can’t be kept a secret anymore." Julian Sinclair smiled slightly, seemingly unconcerned.
Moira Young slapped him playfully: "How can you be so calm as your problems pile up? Do you know how much trouble would arise if your amnesia were exposed?"
She never inquired deeply about Julian Sinclair’s family affairs, but that didn’t mean she knew nothing.
Many people eyed the Sinclair family’s inheritance, and if Julian Sinclair’s amnesia were revealed, he would lose many supporters. Those vying for the inheritance would surely use his health condition against him, pulling him down.
She couldn’t even imagine how severe this would be, nor understand why Julian Sinclair wasn’t worried. Even smiling?
"You don’t need to worry about this, I have my plans." Julian Sinclair’s smile remained indulgent. The thought of his little girl analyzing his situation warmed his heart.
Moira Young was dubious but accepted: "Are you sure you can handle it?"
"Yes."
"You better not lose your inheritance, or you won’t have any money to support me."
"Don’t worry, that won’t happen."
"If you run out of money, I won’t want you anymore."
"What did you say?"
"I said if you run out of money, I’ll just find a rich man. Otherwise, how can I keep spending freely...."
Before Moira Young could finish, she was silenced by a kiss.
Her clear eyes blinked, filled with happy laughter. As she melted into Julian Sinclair’s kiss, his domineering voice echoed beside her ear.
"No matter when, don’t you dare escape from me. If you fall for anyone, I’ll ruin them."
Moira Young squinted her eyes, nodding slightly. She knew Julian Sinclair was serious, not joking.
Despite Julian Sinclair’s assertiveness, she loved him desperately. Even if Julian Sinclair didn’t say it, she couldn’t bear to leave the man who had cherished her for more than ten years.
"Uncle." Moira Young called softly.
"Hmm?" Julian Sinclair responded quietly.
"I love you." Moira Young said, wrapping her hands around Julian Sinclair’s neck, kissing his lips.
Her sudden declaration left Julian Sinclair at a loss; recovering quickly, he took the lead, capturing Moira Young’s lips in a breathless kiss.
