Wu Yue’s eyes lit up. "Of course I’m going. I want to see if I can find any more herbs."
"You are not to go on the collection trip tomorrow." A pleasant female voice, laced with hostility, sounded from behind the three of them.
The three of them frowned and turned to see Aya and Ye Duo—who had just run off—standing behind them.
Both of them had red-rimmed eyes, and their glares at Wu Yue were especially vicious.
Wu Yue stood up. Though she was much smaller and weaker than the two females, her presence wasn’t the least bit timid. "It’s not your place to decide who goes on the collection trip."
Ye Duo sneered. "How unfortunate for you. The leader of the Collection Team you’re assigned to tomorrow just so happens to be my Amu. If I say you can’t go, you can’t go."
Wu Yue gazed at her indifferently. "You’re hostile towards me."
Her tone was firm, a confirmation of her own thoughts.
Ye Duo’s expression instantly turned vicious. "Hostile?"
She advanced on Wu Yue, step by step. "You were the one who told the Yuanlang Warrior about me and the Half-beastman!"
