Surrounded by the Billionaire's Deep Doting-Chapter 426 - 379: 326 Second Birthday (Makeup for Yesterday) (Part 2)
The house servants saw Prince Huang wearing this leather outfit and instinctively praised him.
Prince Huang stayed quietly on the sofa, looking very calm and collected.
"Truly unperturbed by praise or blame..."
Su Xiaomeng followed behind and joked with Yin Shixiu.
Yin Shixiu whispered,
"He only wore it because he knew it would get compliments."
Su Xiaomeng wasn’t surprised, glancing at Yin Shixiu,
"He’s your son, so it’s normal for him to be scheming."
"..."
Yin Shixiu frowned slightly, looking at Su Xiaomeng strangely, and quietly said,
"Wife, why do I feel like you’ve been a bit sharp these past two days?"
"Really? I don’t think so. I think you’re becoming more and more dismissive of me."
Yin Shixiu was surprised. If it was about him being dismissive of Su Xiaomeng, that’d be something to discuss.
But to say he was dismissive of her...
How dare I?
The whole house sides with her, none of them easy to deal with.
All she has to do is shout, and I probably couldn’t leave this room unscathed.
"Shuang’er, don’t get on the table yet; Grandpa and Grandma aren’t here yet!"
Su Xiaomeng saw Shuangshuang heading straight for the long table in the center of the room following the aroma, climbing up a chair.
On the table were a few cold dishes, snacks, and fruits.
Shuangshuang’s outstretched hand withdrew as she looked back at Su Xiaomeng, licked her lips, and held out a finger to her,
"Just a bite!"
"Bite what bit? You have to follow rules at meals. Grandpa and Grandma aren’t here, so how can you mess with the dishes on the table?"
Xiaomeng came over, ready to lift her off the chair, but then—
"This is your grandpa’s house, what are you waiting for Grandma and Grandpa for? Little Shuangshuang, come, open your mouth."
Little Shuangshuang immediately opened her mouth, and Grandpa stuffed half a piece of jujube in her mouth.
"Thank you, Great-Grandpa."
After saying that, she carefully climbed off the chair and, like a little duck, waddled over to her brother.
She opened her small mouth to show off the sweet jujube in her mouth to her brother.
Prince Huang, also tempted, immediately climbed off the sofa and ran to Grandpa, his little leather shoes thumping along.
Su Xiaomeng was still arguing with Grandpa about spoiling the kids too much when Huang Huang arrived, hungry and eager.
Grandpa immediately picked a small jujube to stuff in his mouth,
"Is it sweet?"
"Thank you, Great-Grandpa."
Prince Huang said as he turned and climbed back onto the sofa, glancing at Shuangshuang, his little mouth savoring the jujube.
Shuangshuang, having finished what was in her mouth, climbed off the sofa and waddled back to Grandpa.
Mouth wide open, pointing to her empty mouth, she told Great-Grandpa,
"Ah ah, gone."
"Shuangshuang, that’s enough now."
Su Xiaomeng’s voice carried a warning, but Shuangshuang was clever, knowing the one holding the chopsticks was Great-Grandpa, and looked at him with singular devotion.
"Kids liking to eat is a good thing."
With that, Great-Grandpa handed her a small purple sweet potato.
The steamed purple sweet potato was a bit dry, but sweet to eat.
Shuangshuang always loved it, her eyes lighting up as she took it and ran off.
"You haven’t said thank you yet!"
Su Xiaomeng called after her, but the little girl was already climbing onto the sofa, snuggling up to her brother, and warmly asking,
"Brother, want a bite?"
Prince Huang was probably a bit hungry by now; it was eleven o’clock, and breakfast was at eight, though they had a snack in the car, his stomach was still empty.
"Yes, a bite."
"Not for you!"
"..."
Shuangshuang turned her head away, back facing Prince Huang, and nibbled like a little mouse all to herself.
Prince Huang’s outstretched hand froze in midair.
The usually cool and aloof Prince was so embarrassed he turned red with anger.
He glared at Shuangshuang’s back, climbed off the sofa, and ran to the long table.
Bai Fengmao knew Prince Huang would come, with the sweet potato ready in his hands to give to him. Who knew he would bypass Bai Fengmao entirely?
Standing on his tiptoes to see the sweet potatoes on the table, then climbing onto the table, his little paws grabbing five or six to stuff in his arms...
Su Xiaomeng widened her eyes in surprise,
"Prince Huang, what are you doing?"
Huang Huang, holding the sweet potatoes, coldly walked past Great-Grandpa and Mom, back to the sofa, tossed the sweet potatoes on it, then climbed back up himself.
Seeing her brother hoarding so many, Shuangshuang obviously wouldn’t let it go.
She shoved the remaining sweet potato in her mouth in two or three bites, her cheeks bulging full.
Flipping off the sofa, she made to go hoard more food.
