Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!-Chapter 360: And now what?
{MBG: Yes, Dan, it’s true. His sister is the same Essora who brought us to Erza.}
{MHG: Oh!} Idan was surprised when he heard the familiar name. An image of a woman with short black hair emerging from a dark corner instantly appeared in his mind.
{MBG: The boy also said that there are more than a dozen different creatures living under Erza’s mansion, and he sincerely believes that Erza takes care of them and helps them. He is also sure that his sister is working for Erza on her own, which, of course, makes me doubt. Arabel shared her thoughts.
{MHG: Hmm... and what do you suggest? Idan asked.
Arabel didn’t answer immediately. But in the end, she made a decision.
{MBG: Nothing. Let’s put this question aside for later. For now, let’s focus on the current issues.}
After reading Arabel’s messages, Idan nodded, agreeing with her opinion. He didn’t worry about it anymore.
Idan was sure that this would not be their last trip to this world. Unlike the other awakened ones, they had two anchors, and from Arabel’s message, Idan realized that she would probably leave her anchor in this world.
As for the boy, Idan didn’t ask what to do with him. It was already clear to him that they couldn’t just let him go.
"Coco, it’s time," Idan said, turning to the fox cub, and added, "Go ahead."
Hearing these words, Coco happily wagged her tail and, opening the rift, jumped into it, disappearing into the depths.
Idan sent a message:
{MHG: Swap}.
A couple of seconds after that, he reappeared inside the cage located under the Trading House.
Very little time has passed since his disappearance, and nothing unusual has happened.
When Idan appeared, he summoned Ned. When he appeared, he took the form of Idan and exchanged places with Arabel.
After a day and a half, Idan and Arabel were finally reunited.
As soon as Arabel appeared next to him, Idan did not hesitate to step up to her and hug her. Arabel hugged him back without hesitation.
"I was really worried that things might not go the way I had planned," Idan confessed, hugging her tightly. "But I’m so glad that everything went exactly as planned."
"I was worried about you too," Arabel replied, taking off her ghost mask and revealing her true appearance. "Although you have found an amazing way to communicate, I am very glad to hear your voice again."
Looking into her azure eyes, Idan did not wait for Arabel’s initiative this time and kissed her. And, of course, Arabel did not stand aside and reciprocated his feelings.
It was their third mutual kiss, not counting their first, which took place on the same day they first met.
They kissed for the first time after Idan regained his Spirit Form and they both decided to take the second ascension trial. Arabel took the initiative to kiss Idan first.
The second time they kissed was in the city of Rumbus before they had to split up to complete various tasks. And again, as before, Arabel took the initiative.
However, now, for the third time, Idan decided to take the initiative and make a move first.
This time they kissed for more than ten seconds, taking their time and enjoying each other’s closeness.
It wasn’t until about the twentieth second that they broke away from each other. Arabel giggled, which made Idan smile. Then she blushed as she remembered her copies, especially the purple-pink version of herself who was behaving very inappropriately, and how she was obsessed with Idan.
Then, having recovered a little and still being in Idan’s arms, Arabel asked:
"And now what? Are we waiting for Ned to leave Erza’s mansion and find a safe place?"
"Yes," Idan nodded. "By then, Coco should be done with the remaining chores, and we’ll need to find a portal leading to our world."
Their plan hadn’t been finalized yet. According to him, Ned had to leave Erza’s mansion unnoticed, which was not particularly difficult for a being of his level, especially when he was alone and could not worry about anyone.
As for Coco, her task was to empty Erza’s treasury as much as possible.
"I hope Erza hasn’t discovered your disappearance and the disappearance of the heir of the Dark Beast Territory yet," Idan said with concern.
"Don’t worry, she doesn’t know about my disappearance yet," Arabel replied confidently.
And hearing such confidence, Idan looked at her, waiting for an explanation.
"Thanks to the System, even though Erza’s creature is still connected to that creature, she can no longer determine its location, and therefore mine. Also, thanks to the System, the priority of power over the creature completely passed to me, and not to Erza’s creature. That’s why she can’t give me orders anymore," Arabel said with confidence.
Idan was startled by her response and immediately understood why she was so sure that Erza hadn’t discovered her disappearance yet.
"You’ve already guessed, haven’t you?" — Arabel asked, and Idan nodded.
"Erza has not yet tried to determine the location of the creature through this connection. If she tries to do that, it will know about it immediately and let me know."
When Arabel confirmed that their actions had not yet been noticed, Idan felt relieved.
"By the way, I have discovered something amazing related to the Ghost Mask," with these words, he released Arabel from his embrace, walked away a little and, taking out the Mask, put it on to show her his find.
Arabel, hearing Idan’s words, was intrigued by what he had discovered.
As soon as Idan donned the Ghost Mask, his appearance began to change, and in a matter of seconds, he transformed into the heir of the Dark Beast Territory.
"Well?" asked Idan, in the voice of the heir to the Territory of the Dark Beasts.
Instead of the expected surprised response, Arabel’s face, which at first expressed shock, began to change, acquiring angry features. Part of her hair immediately turned purple with a pink tinge that was already familiar to Idan.
Before Idan could realize what was happening to Arabel, her hair began to move, grabbing his arms and legs and lifting him into the air.
"Damn it, Belle, what are you doing?" Idan managed to say, before Arabel could slam him to the floor, as it was with the real heir. Hearing her name, Arabel quickly regained consciousness.
"Damn it, Dan, take off that damn mask!" Arabel blurted out, looking at the face of the man she hated on the face of the man she liked.
"Let me go first," Idan asked, looking a little embarrassed at Arabel’s angry expression.
After a little hesitation, Arabel released him, and Idan, no longer testing Arabel’s patience, took off the ghost mask, regaining his original appearance, and upon seeing this, Arabel immediately calmed down, and her hair returned to its original red color.
And the atmosphere between the two of them became a little awkward.
